McCoy: A Bad Boy Romance

I leaned forward and gripped the edges of the table. “I’m not afraid of you. Put it back. You don’t run this place. You don’t call the shots. And you sure as hell don’t get to take whatever you damn please. Better get used to it, princess, it isn’t going to be all about you. Not if I’m here.”
He slammed Clint’s water back down on his tray. Then his lips peeled back off his teeth and he grinned at me. “I was hoping you’d say that.”
The room erupted in shouts when the stranger kicked me between the legs under the table. I yelled in pain and surprise. Men were scrambling up out of their seats and screaming for a fight. Bruce was shouting in my ear. I couldn’t hear him. My vision was narrowing on the man in front of me as he climbed out of his chair and stepped around the end of the table. * McCoy  is a Bad Boy Romance with an HEA, no cheating, and part two of an exhilarating series.

McCoy is one of my favorite book boyfriends ever! He's tough on the outside but so very sweet and vulnerable with Veronica. We saw their love story begin in Switch, and now in this book we get McCoy's history and all the drama that comes with it. As their love deepens, the threats from his past increase, until Veronica is in serious danger and we're left with one hell of a cliffhanger as McCoy is forced to sacrifice everything to save her.

This book is well-written with realistic characterizations and hot and steamy love connections. I can't wait to read the next book! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Great continuation of McCoy's and Veronica's story. I really like that in this story we get to know a lot more about McCoy. Can't wait for the next installment in this series.

This is book two in this series. It is not a stand alone and ends on a cliffhanger. I really like this series and enjoy this authors writing style. This book picks up a while after the ending of book one. Veronica and McCoy are living together now. Things are good but not without issues. Things really get bad when McCoy's past comes calling. This book explains McCoy's past in great detail. This was very interesting and emotional and gave great insight into the character. I love Veronica and McCoy. This book ends in an excruciating cliffhanger and I can't wait for book three. I highly recommend this book. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book.
