The Arkhangelsk has lost one of its most valued crew. The rescue team is facing down a horde of creatures at their doorstep. In the caverns beneath the city of Magadan, the stage for the final battle is set. And, as the Arkhangelsk races to reach the city in time to help, something stirs in the shadows... Final Dawn is a thrilling post-apocalyptic series that follows the journey of those who survived the end of days. Full of fast-paced, gripping action, this post-apocalyptic book will keep you glued to the edge of your seat as you read about ordinary men and women pushed beyond their breaking point as they struggle to survive in a hostile and brutal world. Final Archangel Triumphant is the third and final book in a standalone post-apocalyptic trilogy set in the Final Dawn universe where humanity is struggling to rebuild and survive after nearly being wiped out. Note that reading the original Final Dawn series (www.amzn.com/B01MRAE8VO) is not necessary as this is a standalone series.
Wow! We've finally discovered the capacity of the AI, shivering! It's a perfect ending that left me content and fulfilled. It has been quite a ride, with such an original plot and post apocalyptic realistic view. Thank you, Mike Kraus for the enjoyment! Uum, is there a sequel?, the end with the commander left me a bit uneasy.😳
I feel as if I devoured the Arkhangelsk series I read it constantly because I just couldn’t put it down. We lost Rachel but we still had Sam, Leonard, Nancy and Marcus. We then had the Russian submarine crew and everything went to pot. Everything about this series was like an express and exciting but with trepidation because I didn’t dreaded anyone else being killed. These books are full-on and I needed to concentrate in case I missed something. If you have to be up at night read this series they are the wake up books.
This story is part of a box set I have and it was a good conclusion to the Archangel trilogy and the Final Dawn series.
Well-written and fast-paced with great characters and plot, made this an enjoyable read. My only gripe about the writing was the phrase 'off of' (it's either 'off' or 'from') - it's poor writing and spoils the flow. Please don't use it.
Certainly action-packed, suspenseful with a scary concept.
I have really enjoyed this second trilogy set in the Final Dawn post-apocalyptic world. The characters are interesting and the chemistry between them anchor the storyline. The action and suspense goes throughout the story keeps you at the edge of your seat. I'm looking forward to how this brave new world develops and hoping the survivors learn from the hubris of those who perpetrated the destruction of the planet.
Great Trilogy and Continuation of the Final Dawn Series
I enjoy reading how Mike Kraus creates the story line so the reader can think about what has happened, feel emotions and want to keep reading . At the end of this trilogy, the teasers made me very anxious to continue on AND I don't know when the next book is coming out!
This is the best book of the series. I love that Mr. Krause broadened out several of the characters and that Nancy is shown as a strong woman capable of great leadership and still a warm human being. Really hope that there be more episodes to look forward to. Thanks Mr.Krause!
Ha! I read Final Dawn til dawn because I couldn't put it down! This series is great. I love that it explores the aftermath of an apocalyptic event. It explores not just surviving but beginning to rebuild society with what's left.
I think that this is an excellent series of books which were well written. They kept me interested in finishing the series. I can't wait to see what happens to Andre in the future.
And they destroyed the AI, but before that, so many twists and turns that I could not put down my ARC copy. But, as resilient as the AI was, I am left wondering if it is really dead, or just dormant? I will be reading this one and others in the series over and over!
I could not put down my (ARC) copy wanting to find out what happened with both groups - the Archangelsk and the group from the tunnels. So many twists and turns and surprises along the way. Mike weaves a wonderfully engrossing tale that will keep you reading and not wanting to put it down until you are finished, and will leave you wanting more.
Fast paced action, easy to identify with the characters. I just finished reading the Final Dawn, (thirteen episodes?), followed by Prip' Yat the Beast of Chernobyl, finishing with the Archangel trilogy In that order. Full immersion. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Looking forward to next winter when I hope to have the time to re-read all without the break that came as I waited for Archangel Triumphant. Of course by that time there will be a new list waiting from my favorite authors. Love the Indie authors
The Final Dawn books were my first encounter with Mike Kraus. I love both of these series very much. They kept me on the seat of the pages on my Kindle! I love the characters I got to meet. I love the locations that Mike took us to. I cannot recommend Final Dawn series enough!
