'This Legacy: Book Two'
Jane has recently discovered her past and she’s sickened to discover the person she’d been. She’d been an assassin working for the very man who’d held her prisoner. And not only her, but her sister as well. Not knowing how to face Dirk and admit to the things she’d done, she sets off on her own, thinking that she can keep him safe if she goes off alone to find her sister and retrieve the drugs to return his memory.

Dirk awakens with no memory, but what is more distressing is the emptiness he feels inside. There is an ache inside of him, a longing, a yearning, a need and it’s due to the absence of his mate. He’s unclear of so many things, but knowing that he needs to get to her is the one thing he’s certain of.

Jane uses the skills that she’d learned over the years she’d spent working for Maximil to track him but she stumbles into an evil that she’d not even thought someone like Maximil was capable of. There are so many more lives on the line than she’d thought. She begins to wonder if it’s even possible for them to all make it out alive and at the back of her mind, she can’t help but think that even if she does succeed, she may end up with her heart broken in the end. Surely, her mate is going to be disgusted with her when he learns of the monstrous things she’s done.

Disappointed

I've read this book before, like over a year ago. But by a different author and tittle. It was called Forgotten by Dawn Nicole-Stevens and there was even a second book. It's exactly the same book. I could tell just by the first chapter it was the same book
