Bobbie Walters (formerly Barbara Barbella - what a name) was a playboy bunny working at the club in NYC and Miami. She met and fell in love with a married Jules (40 years older) and they lived happily ever after.
Bobbie writes this in honor of Jules and the love they shared and I think it is clear in the text she wanted to honor him.
While this "book" is pretty bare bones all around and not that well constructed, the parts discussing the Playboy clubs are even more limited.
She talks about glamour, portrays him as a virile man who loves "boobs" and it feels very fluffy all around. I would love to truly learn more about the Playboy clubs of the 1970's through. Bobbie seems like a fun gal.
