With Eden now behind Jack, he and the group set out to find the mysterious Doc Klein, who may know how to put a stop to the zombie plague and bring peace back to our world.
But the task won't be an easy one. While traveling through the wasted East Coast, Jack and the gang get caught in a war between two groups - human cannibals and the Wranglers, the latter led by an ancient, clairvoyant woman named Mother.
It is Mother who warns Jack of the Doc's insanity. Klein has gone into the heart of our nation's capital, Washington D.C., which is so overrun with zombies, the chances of survival are almost nonexistent. But to Jack, the chances don't matter...because he won't stop until every last zombie is dead and our world is saved.

He primarily writes horror fiction, but has been known to dabble in many different genres.
Dead Nation: A Zombie Novel (Jack Zombie Book 3) by Flint Maxwell is the third book in the series but could be read as a stand alone, the author catches the reader up without spoilers. This continues the series and is just as exciting. This time not only are our heroes trying to stay alive but they are looking for a way to find a cure for this that madness that started in book one. Needless to say there are tight spots and suspense all the way through the book. I did not like the ending, I am not much for cliff hangers, my pet peeve. So this is why it got a 4 star instead of a 5 star. Great book. I received this book to read and the review was voluntary.
Dead Nation Starts were book 2 left us. This has to be the most graphic Zombie book I have ever read I would say it is just as good as the walking dead.. If you are a fan, I would give this series ago. The book has so many twists and turns. I am loving the story and I cannot turn the pages quick enough, needing to know how it all going end. Onto the next book.
WHY? FLINT, WHY? I can tell you, Authors are a cruel, cruel species! The hard core, torture you with cliff hanger types! Lucky me, though. I caught your series after it was finished! Jokes on you! I agree with your READERS though, you better be working on the next one! Like now....hurry up...I will be done with four in about 3 hours....taps doors while finishing review taunting author...downloading four in 3, 2, 1...
Jack and his crew look for a cure. They try to catch up to Dr Klein. They find alot of trouble along the way. A network of cannibals, why would anyone let one go. A village of survivors trying to stay together looking for help and strong people. Travelling through DC for supplies, between the undead and the living wackos it's a wonder anyone survives. The characters of the group are well developed, but at times seem to be lost as to how to survive. The cliff hanger ending works for network weekly and mini-series, but it sucks for a story line. It's make the story longer or give the good guys some prep time. If your reading a series of books it's usually because you like the characters or the storylines. This one I thought wasn't quite as good as the first two, but I am interested in the characters fight to survive.
The great continuity and flow of the series continues seamlessly in the book. There is plenty of action, suspense, danger, guts, gristle and gore. Be sure to strap in tight for this twisty thrill ride!
*I received a complimentary ARC of this story in order to read and provide a voluntary, unbiased and honest review, should I choose to do so.
Ok this is the most vivid, colorful and interesting apocalyptic story I have read. It has to be better off as good as "The Walking Dead ". Great flow with twists that keep you holding on. Great Read.
Jack Jupiter is chasing the elusive cure to the zombie apocalypse. Will he fine it? Who knows but the Jupiter gang is determined to salvage something in Washington DC. I'm loving this fun apocalyptic series. The characters are relatable. Sarcastic humor lightens up the dark situations.
Jack Jupiter is really getting a workout. Zombies, crazy cowboys, bloodthirsty frogs...when will it stop? Hopefully never. I enjoy these stories immensely and hope to keep reading for years to come
A fun next installment in the series, that really highlights that we are the true monsters. Those left behind and not turned. People fall back on their most base instincts, and not all of them are good. Enjoyed this one, feeling like I'm getting to know Jack on a deeper level, and looking forward to installment four!
After Eden, Jack and his family are searching for the man who may have the solution to eradicating the zombies but they have more battles ahead of them. Zombies, cannibals and more strange people, with the dangling carrot of a real future together make this a thrill ride of a story. I'm furious about the cliffhanger ending, only because it's a dastardly trick that makes me want the next book NOW! *I voluntarily read and reviewed this book, my opinions are my own*
Zombies and gore and adventure. All three books so far in this series have been intense, page turners. Jack just won't stop. Him and his little family are on another impossible mission and he's dead set on accomplishing it. We meet new insane enemies and others who tell him once again his goal is impossible. That's simply not a word they understand though. You should definitely check this series out if you enjoy zombie apocalypse stories. This one will quickly become your favorite!
