Mayar Edition was the one that recommended me this poetry collection and they were absolutely right about it. There is an interesting choice of themes which I find universal and relatable and there is a certain charm of the Arabic language used. The poet starts the book with gloomy, well rhymed poems to end it on happier, more open and optimistic notes reflected mainly through a few free verse "passages" as if he is about to reach a liberarting point.
While reading some poems I found myself thinking that this is kind of "cliché" idea and next thing I find the poet mixing his cards and surprising me with a twist.
I loved a few poems more than others but this remains totally subjective. I am so happy that I took a step out of my comfort zone and read this poem collection and I am definitely waiting for new collections.
