Although this collection of stories is geared toward graduates, that does not limit its appeal. The stories are inspirational and quite interesting. Many are true accounts of famous people describing a time in their lives before they achieved their success. All thirty tales are uplifting with a moral. Included are Bible verses that pertain to the topic of each story. Though short, this little book offers a chance for thoughtful reflection.

The stories are short and entertaining, the advice is not very practical it’s more like food for thought.

I’m not religious so those parts of the book didn’t do anything for me.

While I didn’t find the “advice” to be very helpful, I did find some of the stories to be interesting and inspiring. Not a bad read.
