Not bad, but I expected a bit more from this author

I love Chiah Wilder's MC books, and this one was no different. Her alpha males always have me swooning.
Muerto (Spanish for death) is not the kind of man you mess with. He helps run the MC pool hall. He's an officer of the Nights Rebels MC. This name says it all. Muerto is six feet tall, tattooed, and full of muscle. Women fall at his feet and he doesn't stick around too long. He likes the lay but avoids the relationship.
Raven is about to knock him down a peg or two. She's sassy, Witty, and a total hustler. In other words a pool shark. Muerto doesn't want to see her get hurt. She is messing with some tough customer, but she isn't what he expected. She doesn't fall at his feet for protecting her. In fact, she doesn't even offer him a crumb.
These two are fated to spend a little time together, and they can't help getting under each other's skin.
A fiery romance that ticks all the right boxes. 5 out of 5.

4.5 stars for me. I really enjoyed this book. I think it's one of (if not the most) favorites of her books. I've read all of the author's books and I can see how much growth she has shown in her stories and character development. Raven is a strong heroine but she has her weak spots like a normal woman. Muerto is a big, alpha bad ass who wants no entanglements. The love story is sweet while the actual story line gets gritty at times. No cheating. This is one I will probably read again. Looking forward to the next one in the series.

Hustling in the wrong bar gets the black haired beauty into some trouble. Who in their right mind walks into a biker bar to hustle pool .. Raven that's who. It's how she survives. The strong woman only knows how to survive and she will keep doing it.
Muerto sees the woman and knows trouble is brewing. She may be strong willed with tight shoulders keeping the guys in check but this time it looks like she has taken on more than she can chew. Women usually beg to be with him but this woman .. she is going to be a challenge.
Great read and addition to the series. Raven is an awesome female lead. Strong .. sassy and smart. That's a bonus in my book.
I love it when the male lead has to win the girl over. Earning her trust .. yup. Great characters and always happy to see our previous guys stop in.

Love hits you out of the blue
Muerto is a simple guy. He hits it once and never looks back. That is until a raven haired beauty turns him down. Never having that happen before he is determined to have her. Only he doesn't want her just for one night which is very confusing to him. A wild ride that has its ups and downs.

Muerto is one of those men who doesn't believe in settling down. He is a Player with a capitol P for sure. All that changes when a gorgeous pool shark comes into his bar and captivates him. I absolutely LOVED Raven for him. Raised by a pool shark, she knows how to handle her stick yet she is super sassy and sexy to boot. LOVED her. She turns Muerto inside out with want of her. She has been hurt before so she isn't looking for a man, but Muerto rocks her world too. I so enjoyed their story and can't wait to read more in this series.

This is more of Raven and Muerto’s story. Muerto is a magnet for woman with all his tattoos and muscles. But he can usually hook up with them and forget them. But when Raven comes into the club’s pool hall hustling the customers he can’t get enough of her. He wants he and has a lot of things he would love to talk her into doing but it’s making him mad that he can’t stop thinking about her. Raven is trying to heal her broken heart. She has no interest in a new man. But Muerto is persistent. Can he get her to drop her guard and allow him to help her get over her heartbreak? Or is just another heartbreaker? Can she trust him? What about what is after her can he protect her?
I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

Sticks and holes? Pizza and a salad? This author mentions pizza and a salad in every book I've read in this series. I'd say 25+ times. It's almost comical. Her writing style goes from full on cheese " his eyes bored into me like two magnetic laser beams, silhouetted by the vastness of the glowing amber and red sky" to "he kissed me hard and it was good" too wordy, too sophomoric, to many things that would NEVER happen in an MC's world. Lot's of good reviews which is confusing to me. Maybe she's very young, with a very young audience, but doesn't do it for me. Not to mention the cover model looks like a guy from vanderpump rules, and he is NOT attractive.

I read this one as part of the boxed set I picked up!
I liked this one even though Muerto at the beginning was a little hard to take, was very conceited and a total Player and his reaction to someone saying no to him was disbelief and then he wanted to prove a point by seducing her then leaving her. Thankfully he came to his senses and saw Raven as the awesome kick arse chick she was so he then wanted to make her his.
Raven has many talents including being an artist, jewelry design and being an amazing pool hustler. I loved that about her, she has a load of sass and confidence which on occasion may see her land in some trouble lol. I thought it was great that she didn't just fall into Muerto's plans for her, she made him work for it!
This one has lots going on it and I loved that it wasn't predictable at all. Lots of action, sex, drama, danger and a bit of mystery thrown in which all adds up to a great read. Love all the secondary characters and am looking forward to their books.
Overall a great addition to the series, so onto to the next one.

I love the way Chiah Wilder writes her MC stories, the always get me from page 1. The two characters in this story were quite a pair together. One a biker and one a pool shark. She just happened into the pool hall he managed. Hating each other at first, they were determined to keep it that way. She walked into the pool hall and began a game with two guys. She hustled them pretty good and they were totally ticked off and demanded their money back but Muerto quickly made them leave. Seems they were always running into each other. Much to Muerto's dismay. Then he found he was her lanlord, which brought him around more. She soon finds herself getting into circumstances that could be of some danger to her. There is and ex boyfriend, a quirky neighbor and what seems like might be a stalker. Will Muerto be the one to protect her. A bunch of twists and turns will happen throughout the story but you will find you really love this couple at the end.

The second book in the Night Rebels MC series, Muerto is everything you'd expect from an MC book and from this author. With hot alpha bikers and sassy strong female leads this book is explosive. I loved the to and fro between this couple, the instant physical attraction is there, but with Muerto and Raven both being stubborn and Raven terrified of a broken heart this was certainly a fun ride.
Obviously there are other elements at play and danger lurks behind every corner...or tree, well we are talking about outlaw bikers after all. The author does a fantastic job building up the suspense and throwing in so many potential suspects.
A great second book in the series, can't wait for Diablo's story!

TENSE
Danger is a huge part of an MC member's life. Muertos expects it but when he falls hard for Raven, a "citizen", he doesn't expect the danger lurking because of it. Raven feels eyes on her and then strange things start to happen like red roses left in blood in her home. She is more puzzled than anything else at this point. Then her life is on the line!
Loved the mystery and the angst to this story. An unexpected villain, a hot love story and a hot bunch of bikers is a great recipe for your entertainment!
One thing I am impressed with is that this author does not dwell on things such as over endowment of the men. After all, not all men are so big the women are "afraid it won't fit"! This is a nice change.

Great addition to the Night Rebels MC. This is Muerto's story and how he falls for the beautiful black-haired pool shark Raven. They meet when she is at Balls and Holes, the local bar and pool hall and Raven is hustling. She is an artist and is also Muerto's tenant at one of the properties he owns. They have an attraction that is explosive but due to a recent devastating break up, Raven is trying to steer clear of men and focus on her artistic side of creating paintings and more. Unfortunately Muerto is not known for giving up what he wants, so he slowly breaks down her walls so he can make her his! Unbeknownst to them, Raven is the target of a killer..... get this book but read Steel first as it introduces everyone in the club and some background story:)

I just love MC Stories, and this one was no different. From the minute Muerto meets Raven he was in lust with her. And maybe her feisty and sassy mouth just sealed her fate.
Raven on the other hand didn't trust men so easily after her last relationship, so she was not making this easy on him.
Everything you love in a MC Story, love/drama/heartache and danger all rolled into an awesome storyline

This was an interesting read, I couldn't help but laugh at some of their antics, and also gasp a long with them. I didn't expect who it would be.
I loved Muerto, he may be a ladies man, but he makes sure they always understand everything. He has a big heart when it comes to his brothers in the MC, and his family. He can be known to be moody, but he also can be kind and caring.
I loved Raven, she is fun and outgoing. She loves to play pool, and she cares deeply for her father. She has some close friends, but she is more into being by herself and her creative nature.
I really enjoyed this book, and loved how the other characters interacted with them. I can't wait for more.

Great read
Wow great second book in this series, Muerto never thought a woman could catch him he's a player that loves and leaves women wanting more never one to settle for more than a couple of times with one woman until Raven bursts into his life. She works her way into his blood and he can't leave her alone and he does the same to her. There's a lot going on in this book and it keeps you on the edge of your seat all the way through with a strange neighbour and a crazed stalker you can't work out who it is and why someone is out to get Raven and when it all opens up it is a real shocker. A great read that's riveting from beginning to end.

This book is a first in that it has well developed plot and characters not just steamy sex. Although it is a little formulaic. Hot chick comes strolling into a pool hall run by Muerto. She bends over the pool table and immediately tries to hustle Muerto's customers which causes a problem. He walks her out for safety and sure enough saves her from disgruntled pool players she has taken money from. But the plot thickens with the each encounter as someone is stalking Raven. Can Muerto protect her and find the stalker?

Most MC stories revolve around the club. This story has a woman who takes great delight in hustling Bikers. Fortunately she eludes serious consequences but that doesn't mean she gets off free. There's also a great wild card thrown into the mix and u never really see it coming. This is a talk nted strong woman who can and does support herself. There is sex, romance, great characters and suspense.

Short of a question or two this is another top knock series
I enjoyed reading about Muerto and Raven through the not so smooth start to the end. But I'm a little confused about the person behind the threats and foolery. I thought it was the neighbor, not who it was revealed to be! I' m looking forward to each book in this series. Thank you for being such a talented writer Chiah Wilder!

Muerto is a good story, Muerto is the H of the story, be is a biker, sexy, playboy that loves to play the field, his life gets turned upside down when a black haired beauty catches his eye. Raven is the leading lady she is sexy, beautiful, independent and has a few hidden talents. The chemistry coming from this couple is scorching hot. Storyline flowed from beginning to end. Awesome Book
I loved Murerto's story. The storyline was deep and interesting. It was described so well. The characters were so well-written and intriguing. You felt the depth of their feelings. It was a little dark due to the Psychopath and boy did that come out of nowhere. It certainly had me fooled! Great Read

Muerto is the second book in the exciting Night Rebels series, and it's definitely one you won't want to miss! With the great storyline, complex characters, humor, angst, intense situations, and intriguing twists, this story will have you turning the pages faster to see what happens next. Another great addition to this fantastic series!

Love it, Awesome
I love this book. I love the continuation of the series. I love the characters and storyline. I love how they connect with my other friends from the other series. China Wilder, I enjoy reading all of your books. But, I have a question, "Why are their no people of color, I can be the beautiful brown girl with dreadlocks in a storyline". Just saying😉💯.

The second book in this series is just as awesome as the first book. This story is about Muerto and Raven. I love stories that have a strong female lead and Raven definitely fills the bill. Loved her character as well as Muerto. Muerto is multi-dimensional and is a equal match for Raven. They had an awesome love story. Totally recommend it 🔥😍🔥 !!!

Love the cover. So cheesy!
I like the story too! I really love it when a manwhore falls cluelessly in love. There's denial and pushing away of other women but the Hero doesn't really know why he just wants the heroine.
I like the progression of this romance as it may have been an insta attraction but it took them a while to get together.

Muerto
This book was a lot better than the first in the series, it keeps you in suspense the entire time. There's a huge twist and I never saw it coming. The POV of the psycho stalker is really interesting and insightful. The sex scenes were well depicted and steamy. A good read all around.

Outstanding
4 stars for this second book in The Night Rebels Motorcycle Club series.
Puerto made some pretty fast changes as the drama unfolds into the story. I found this story to be a refreshing mix of romantic suspense, a chiller & some heavy erotica scenes mixed in.
Raven, was a pretty cool chick.
Fabulous characters & kept me guessing almost all the way til the end.

Another great Night Rebels MC book! I really liked Raven. She was strong and pretty fearless. Muerto took a bit to warm up to, but once you got to know him he was sexy as could be. And I really liked the way he stood behind Raven in certain situations.
I'm really looking forward to reading more of this series. And I can't wait to learn Diablo's story!!!
