'Shifted By Fate' by S.R. Mitchell is the story of Eric and Kelly.
This book grabs you from the start with a drama start of Kelly running from an abusive boyfriend. this is were we first meet Eric when he comes to help her when she is caught by a few dark werewolves. Kelly wakes to find her in Eric's compound where she starts to realize that she is not just a witch but is a wolf too..and that Eric is her mate. They both except this pretty quick but they have to deal with the drama of someone hurting their people and Kelly's ex boyfriend who is out to get her back. This was a really nice werewolf story and another great read by Ms. Mitchell.

Kelly just broke off her relationship with her abusive boyfriend when she is attacked by three powerful men. She tries to fight back but they're abnormally strong. During this fight something changes within Kelly, something that makes the three men want her all the more.
Eric comes to her rescue and vows to keep her save. Help her accept the changes within her. She's his mate afterall. But that is easier said that done.
I enjoyed this short paranormal read, it was fast paced and filled with action. I loved the hybrid aspect of Kelly as I haven't seen that in many books. And the chemistry between Kelly and Eric was really well executed.
It's just that while reading this book I felt like I had jumped to book two in a series. I was thrown into action without knowing much about the characters or the world building. Also I would have liked to get to know Kelly and Eric a bit more before getting introduced to any of the other characters. It felt a bit..... swamped.
Other than that it was an enjoyable read, then again I'm always in for paranormal romance novels.

Absolutely LOVED this novel! The cover is eye-catching and BEAUTIFUL. Kelly, a beautiful witch raised by her aunt, finds out she is more than a witch and shifters are real. Eric, an Alpha wolf shifter, finds Kelly protecting herself against rogues. The chemistry between them is dreamy, strong, and hard for either to ignore. He helps her through her first shift and ends up kidnapped by rogues. She finds her parents while being held captive, helps all of them escape the cells they are held in, saved by her mate and her father, and learns her true healing strength. Nothing better than adventure, love and a HEA.

Who doesn't like a great book where you get a mix of witches and wolf shifters?! I love the build up of the sexual tension of the main two characters and the heart ripping drama they are faced with as well. You get magic, adventure, the supernatural, and drama all wrapped up inside these pages from start to finish!

This is a departure from her usual historical/time travel books but S. R. Mitchell has done a fantastic job with her first paranormal novel. Kelly, the heroine, is a witch who has grown up not knowing who her parents are. One night when taking a short cut home through the woods she is attacked by a trio of rogue werewolves. The local pack alpha Eric instinctively knows Kelly is in trouble and rushes to her rescue quickly realising that not only is she his mate but that she's also a wolf shifter. The trouble is Kelly is completely unaware of this due to the machinations of her aunt who has been suppressing her wolf in an effort to protect her from those who disapproved of parents mating. Now Kelly & Eric must come to terms with being mates while fighting the evil shifter that is trying to take over the neighbouring pack using Kelly to do it.
This is an enjoyable read. The plot moves at a steady pace with enough twists to keep this reader interested and there is a wealth of secondary characters that leave me hopeful of further books featuring this group of shifters.

s was a amazing story!
Great storyline!
Kelly is running for her life .. trying to get away from an abusive relationship she runs into a park where there's a forest of trees as she's running for her life bad guys grabs her. As she's trying to save herself She blasts one of them with fire ...Eric is running with his friends gets a whiff of something that makes his wolf go into over drive and runs towards her direction... he comes upon her with these men attacking her and him and his friends helped to save her only to notice that she's also a witch. And realizes that she his mate! The chemistry between these two was amazing I could not put this book down. One of my favorites was her aunt Piper!! And of course you have to throw the bad guy Nix in the mix who wants a queen so he can run his own pack and he wants Kelly! this is an absolutely amazing story and if you like wolf shifters and witches this stories for you!!

A perfect mix of wolf and witch. I finished this one in 4 hours, I couldn't put it down! the details and story were so developed. I could feel the love in the story through the pages.

Shifters and Witches, how can a writer go wrong with that combination, right? I loved it! Mitchell did not go wrong; the paranormal combination works for SHIFTED by FATE! I'm a huge fan of Paranormal and wolf shifters so when I read the description of this book I knew I had to read it.
Kelly was a half witch, half wolf and she was awesome. I liked her spunk and the way she takes changes with out really overthinking things. She was just a natural and easy to love.
Eric was the alpha but he was also pretty laid back. I liked how he felt about Kelly and he really didn't take things laying down. He protected what was his and that was that.
The plot was fast paced and fun. There were some moments with drama but the way the author did it I was hooked. I liked the pack aspect and the whole witch/wolf hybrid that Kelly was. It put a spin on your typical shifter romance.
Overall; I've read another book by this author and while it wasn't my favorite, the author did an awesome job with this book. I can't wait to see what she does with more characters in the pack. 4 stars #2OCCJD

If Kelly didn’t have bad luck she wouldn’t have any luck at all. While on the run from her abusive ex she tries to use her witch powers to fight off the werewolves that are attacking her however they are much too strong. Just when she thinks all is lost she is rescued by the wolf pack and their Alpha.
Eric is the Alpha wolf and he and his pack were out hunting for the werewolves when they come across the woman in danger and he immediately knows she is his mate but why would a witch be his mate?
He brings her back with him and as the secrets of her past re-emerge questions are answered but will Eric be able to keep her safe and will the rest of the pack accept her as his mate?
I really enjoyed his paranormal romance as the characters were compelling, the storyline included suspense and twists and the connection between the two deep and hot.

You're straight into drama and excitement right from the start, Kelly is escaping an ex boyfriend when she's ambushed along the wooded path, Alpha Eric comes across the attack quickly dealing with the rogues and getting Kelly to safety.
fighting off one attacker would be difficult enough but even with Kelly being a witch, managing to fight back against three rogue shifters is an impressive feat.
As the story unfolds it becomes clear that Kelly is far more than even she realises, the secrets of her past now making her a target. Eric will do whatever it takes to protect his mate but will it be enough that ?
A really enjoyable read that easily holds your attention from the first to last page, this is a new author to me but certainly one I'll be looking out for from now on.

Oooh I love a good mate story. And this is a good mate story Eric and Kelly meet in the midst of Drama. Him coming to her rescue, And the drama never stops. After saving her, there is an ongoing fight with the neighbouring pack and the fact that Kelly doesn’t know she’s a werewolf. It’s all against them, but through it all they steadily build a hot and awesome relationship. What I loved most about this though was there was genuine chemistry between them. The whole fated mate thing can become contrived, but I really enjoyed how these two interacted. He was exactly what she needed, exactly when she needed him.

It has been a hot minute since I've read a book about werewolves. I think I've outgrown these books. Also the whole alpha thing. I think its become a recurring theme with me now. I inevitably end up picking the book with alpha leads and I end up not enjoying it as much. Personally I'm not a fan of the whole alpha thing.
The story was quite interesting really, the magic parts mixed with the pack descriptions were pretty good. I wasn't a fan of the writing style and I wish the book was a little more polished.
Anyone who loves stories about werewolves with alpha leads will really enjoy this book.

I've been reading a lot of "shifter stories" lately and each one is just a little bit different than the others. The action begins right from the prologue and moves forward at a very quick pace.
The characters are well developed and the secondary characters lend an important piece to the story. Eric and Kelly are both Alphas so of course there have to be important betas in their life.
This story is written in such a way that it was as visually appealing as it was adventurous and exciting.
I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.

Read this book in exchange for an honest review.
Loved this Paranormal Romance, S.R. Mitchell has made Kelly and Eric a very lovable couple. While also managing to add strong supporting characters in.
This was a fast paced and kept you guessing what was going to happen with little twist coming in all the way through the book, very much enjoyed and hope there will be more to add to the series!

I liked this book. I haven't read many shifter type romance novels. I enjoyed the chemistry between Kelly and Eric. It was in instant attraction, and it just grew from there. Eric is a great alpha and very honourable man. S.R. Mitchell is great with words and had great twist in this book. It was an amazing start to the great series. I can not wait until the next book.

I really enjoyed this book - It’s well written, and it’s a quick PNR read, which is always fun. I liked that there was heat, without intense sex scenes (most of it is closed door), and I enjoyed getting to know all the characters. A fun read I recommend to PNR readers who enjoy shifter/witch romance!!

If you love wolf shifter stories this one is a must read! Super awesome paranormal story- I couldn't put it down. Filled with lots of drama, suspense, action, and romance, this intense story will take you on an emotional ride that you don't want to miss. This is one of those books you wish Goodreads ratings let you give more than 5 stars.

Kelly is a witch, but she ha something more in herself - she is a shifter! But wait a second - wolfs and witches don't get along! How will their mate bond work out in that circumstance? S. R. Mitchel gave us really steamy, complex and sexy shifter romance!

Kelly's story was pretty interesting!! A little twist on the average shifter story. I thought it was great that she was more than a shifter. There was more to this story than just Kelly and Eric's relationship. The rogue pack was a tough enemy to defeat, but there was also the bits and pieces about Kelly's parents and also her aunt and Sam. So much to love in this story!!

Another great paranormal read. If you love things out of the ordinary, kick ass women and hot alpha men, well this book is for you.

First time read from this author and fortunate to receive an ARC. I love a good shifter book and this one stood out for me with a witch element too. Definitely worth reading, the bond between these characters was easy to warm to and had a great easy flow to the writing.

I finished this book in one day. I was hooked from the beginning. The only thing I would have liked to see the dialog separation between the characters. Sometimes I wasn't sure who was talking. But overall this was a good book. I don't read a lot of Shifter/Paranormal books.
