Rate this book
Meet Dream, a young, bright eyed girl growing up in the slums of St. Louis. Unlike most girls in her neighborhood, Dream has the luxury of growing up with something most of her friends don't have, a father. But when tragedy strikes her life at the age of eight, Dream's perfect world comes crashing down around her.
Soon, she finds herself thrown into a life of turmoil, horror and pain. Forced from the only home she's ever known, Dream is overcome by her will to survive. The streets of the ghetto doesn’t welcome her, the family she left behind no longer wants her, the one thing she has left is her body she learns the hard way that the only way she can survive is to use it. With a vicious pimp on her heels and nowhere to run, Dream is forced to adapt to a life on the streets in one of the worlds most dangerous cities. The wages of sin is death… but what if the sin is forced upon you, the world seems to have turned its back on you and the only thing you have left of value or so you’re told, is what’s between your thighs? Will Dream have what it takes to survive? Or will the cold streets of St. Louis eat her alive?

Dream was a young girl that grew up in the projects of St. Louis. Dream mom did not care about her and allowed her boyfriend to have a key to the apartment. Tragedy strikes Dream at the tender age of eight. Dream was molested by her mom’s boyfriend. At the age of 14 Dream’s mom walked in but believed her boyfriend over her daughter. Good read…

Wow

This girl has a terrible life, her father died when she was 8 years old and her mother's boyfriend started testing her at 9 years old. Her life went to hell after that,
