Willow started writing after having her little girl, Evie, December 2015. All during her pregnancy with Evie she continued to read and she only wanted to read romance. She was reading a book a day — sometimes two.

In January 2016 Willow was staying up late with Evie and just thinking of all these stories. They came to her constantly so she finally sat down and just started writing. She always wanted to do it so she figured, why not? Today Willow cannot be happier for making that decision!

I received a copy from InstaFreebie via Pretty, Witty & Gritty GiveAway; this is my honest review. I had enough at 52%.
-This is the story of Thomas (millionaire) and Emma (romance author). The blurb is no longer available either on GR or AMZ but it looks like a romantic suspense.
-Emma should know better: "It was on the news, Kate. It's not like the news is going to lie" OR "There's no way that they would broadcast a photo shopped (sic) image". Of course not. But please give your husband some credit.
-Then she figures the pictures aren't scandalous and her husband is glaring in most of them but she's still mad at him, throwing stuff to hurt him. She's a hothead and I don't care for her.
-She has no business telling her husband to fire someone or give them a raise. It's not her staff and she doesn't know half of it.
-Emma is a sloppy woman throwing her stuff all around her without any concerns - she has a maid for that. She's also indecisive, asking for details then complains when they are given. She cries ALL THE TIME. Unbelievable: He's a known man-whore and she lets him go bare.
-Thomas is really nice, taking care of his staff and wife, trying to guard her against evil even if she won't let him. He's all alpha and I love it.
-Editing is so bad, it's a trial to read: possessive vs. plural, missing words, too many words, wrong word, etc.

I'm a Willow Winters fan, this review is really hard for me. I felt like I had read Scandal before. I liked Emma and I could not stand Thomas. He was just too dismissive of Emma's feelings for me. When she tried to tell him how she felt, he would say don't worry about it. This got to be old for me. Willow did a good job of writing a suspenseful story till about the 60% point, then it lost it's steam for me. Willow Winters did a good job of portraying Emma's insecurities. I felt Emma's insecurities. The overall story became very repetitive. I did not like how the chapters were set up either, they seemed to go on forever. I would have preferred shorter chapters. If the chapters would have been shorter maybe it would not have been so confusing. I'm sorry I could not give more stars. I was given an ARC edition for my honest and voluntary review.

I am not really sure how I feel about this book. Lots of ups and downs and then it just ends, happily ever after evidentially. I think there was too much drama and depressing, there was also a slight lack of plot. It needed a lot of help to make it better.

Overall, it's a pretty easy read but the flow is a little off, for me at least.

Well this is a rough one. There are so many triggers in this book and it was hard to read at times. Emma endures the most horrific things and I wish Thomas was different for her sake. I don’t know if he was what she needed or if it was just that familiarity and comfort of someone else taking control that helped her move on. And I think that for me was what made this book hard to really love.

Amazing book. Willow Winders is suck a great author that as soon as one of hers comes available, I just have to read it before anything else. Loved this book. So heartfelt and raw. The sex scenes are necessary to explain the book. Highly recommended
