Since stepping into the role of Alpha for the Texas Tigers, Tex’s sole focus has been on his members as he tries to help them heal from years of abuse and torment. Now, with Manetka Resort about to open, he’s taking a last minute trip to the Alaskan Tigers’ compound in search of guards to protect both the Elders and the clan. While there, he finds the unexpected—his mate. Carleen comes from an enemy clan with a controlling and manipulative Alpha. Months of not belonging to a clan finally ends when she finds Tex, but it causes a divide between her and the only family she has left—her brother. Getting to know her mate forces her to realize there’s a bigger purpose for her, one in which she can make a difference. With his many responsibilities, Tex isn’t sure he has time for a mate. Carleen is torn in different directions, too, and no matter what she chooses, she can’t please everyone. Happiness is something they both deserve, but can they get out of their own way in order to claim it?

Tiger Trouble is book 12 of Marissa Dobson's Alaskan Tigers series. After such a long wait finally Tex's story is told. Tex has been a favorite character of mine since he first entered the story so many books ago. Marissa has done a fantastic job with his story. His character has come a long way from the broken young shifter that wanted to die to becoming the strong alpha of the Texas Tigers. From his tragic childhood, his horrific adolescence, his demeaning early young adult years to his becoming a strong alpha his story will grab you and take you on a tragic rollercoaster ride. If there's one character in all of this series that deserves to find a loving, beautiful, understanding, strong mate it's Tex. It will take someone that's come from the same set of circumstances to appreciate everything his lived through, to understand the male his fought to become and to deserve to stand by his side as his mate. Fate has just the female for him Carleen of the Mississippi Tigers. Finally through their bond we get to see what Tex lived through and how far he has grown. Their stories will give you hope that no matter what a person has had to endure they can choose to rise above it and forge their own path. I have lived this series from book one and 12 books in Marissa still holds her audience attention. Each book brings in new characters and their stories yet the bigger story that of the Alaska Tigers, Tabitha and Ty are still advancing and the overall theme progresses with each new book. It's hard with series this big sometimes for authors to stay on point and not get lost along the way from what they started the series out to be, Marissa has never lost sight of where she wants the series to go. I commend her for that. I can't wait to see what's next and where the story goes from here.
Marissa Dobson does it again with the Alaskan Tigers!
So far, I have read and loved each of the Alaskan Tigers! This book is no difference. You are drawn into the close knit family of the Alaskan Tigers and follow each member through different aspects of their lives. You are always allowed follow these members as they meet their life time mate and go on to build a future. The next book in my read list is the Alaskan Tigers Book 13. I can’t wait to get started!
Tex was getting the Texas Tigers back on their feet. The resort was almost ready to open. Heading to Alaska to check out some security he never planned on meeting his mate. Wasn't the best time. Carleen wanted to believe in happy ever afters but so far in life she hadn't been around to many happy mates. Meeting Tex and finding out he was an alpha she wanted to run the other way. Loved Tex throughout the series. I'm glad he got his HEA.
I love the continuation of the characters through the books. Each book gives you the story behind one of the people. Keeps me looking forward to the next book. Each character has some quality that you can relate. It's been very enjoyable getting into this series. Very well written. Will read more.
I came back to this series after maybe a year and just a little reading put me right back into the story. This has been a great series and I can't wait for the next book.
Another clan on the mend, the new alpha is mated, but trouble is still stalk8ng all of them. Will Tabitha be able to gather them all together? Read on to find the answer.
I have been waiting for Tex's story and it didn't disappoint! I really enjoyed this story. While Thorns character was irritating, he fit with the story.
