The Resonance Effect: How Frequency Specific Microcurrent Is Changing Medicine

Rate this book
The Resonance Effect is both the author's story of her inspirational journey of having the courage to find her true calling and an account of the development of a remarkable newly rediscovered treatment, frequency specific microcurrent (FSM), that takes advantage of the body's ability to respond to frequencies in order to heal a number of chronic conditions. Carolyn McMakin, a chiropractor specializing in fibromyalgia and myofascial pain, describes her experience using a two-channel microcurrent device that has achieved astounding results that have changed medicine and created new possibilities for suffering patients over the past twenty years. Nerve pain, fibromyalgia, diabetic neuropathies, muscle pain, athletic performance, injury repair, joint pain, low back pain, neck pain, kidney stone pain, the kidney stones themselves, liver disease, diabetic wounds, brain and spinal cord injuries, PTSD, depression, shingles, asthma, ovarian cysts, abdominal adhesions, and scarring all respond to specific frequencies. McMakin explains that results are predictable, reproducible, and teachable—all without side effects—offering hope and healing to millions of people.McMakin tells the story of how thousands of patients with conditions that did not respond to other medical therapies recovered from pain and disability through the non-invasive treatment that she developed. For example, asthma resolves with specific frequencies that remove inflammation, allergy reaction, and spasm from the bronchi. One frequency combination eliminates shingles pain in minutes and stops the shingles attack with a single three-hour treatment. Since 2005, a series of frequencies has been used to treat hundreds of PTSD patients. Post-surgical patients use FSM to reduce pain, prevent bruising, and increase healing. NFL, NHL, and Olympic athletes use it to heal injuries and improve performance. McMakin includes case histories that illustrate the efficacy of the treatment and shares the specific frequencies that each condition requires so that patients direct their own treatments.

"The Resonance Effect: How Frequency Specific Microcurrent Is Changing Medicine" is a captivating and thought-provoking read. It delves into the innovative use of frequency-specific microcurrents in medical treatments, showcasing how this groundbreaking technology has the potential to enhance quality of life significantly. The book is an eye-opener, highlighting the struggles faced by pioneers in this field against the backdrop of a healthcare industry often dominated by big pharmaceutical companies. Seeing the challenges these innovators face in bringing their discoveries to a wider audience is disheartening and inspiring. This book is not just a read; it's a call to action, urging future generations to persevere in the face of adversity and continue to drive much-needed change in the medical world—a must-read for anyone interested in the future of medicine and the power of technology to heal.

Fantastic introduction to frequency specific micro current therapy. If you suffer from chronic pain, fibromyalgia, autoimmune disorder, etc, I recommend this book and also doing your own rabbit hole deep dive into exploring these techniques and others like it. Just wish I could afford the training and machine. I know many of my clients would be interested to try it. Check out the website for info on practitioners nearest you if you are looking to be a patient and not a practitioner.

I already use FSM, and I know it works. I decided to read "The Resonance Effect" which talks about how Dr. McMakin first came across microcurrent and started developing it. We also got a bit of a biography about her life. Each chapter tended to focus on certain types of cases that she saw and what FSM was able to do for them. It's an easy read, not technical. Overall, I'd recommend this book to those looking for help and who want to know more able FSM.

Book club chose this book. It was interesting but seemed a bit dated. I didn’t realize that there was so much work done on vibration in the 1920’s and 30’s. After reading the women came to my house and each took a turn on my vitro-acoustic table. It was a fun night.

This was not what I expected. It excited me about the possibilities to help people who might otherwise have no hope.
