In the old days Prophets used to spread the Word of God for free.
Now it costs $19.95 which seems a little too Infomercialy for my tastes, but then again I suppose the Hand of God moves in strange ways. Point in fact Donald Trump is apparently God’s Instrument. An instrument for what precisely Mr. Taylor is not clear on except that this is all God’s plan. Of course by definition everything is ultimately God’s plan which is funny since men of God have always been saying that (again, for free) for millennia.
But, so we’re clear, taking away healthcare, and retirement benefits are all part of God’s shining plan. Nothing pleases the Lord like seeing stacks of dead elderly, and the sick wandering around.

[Update 3/25/21]

A lot has happened since I originally finished this book: COVID-19 (probably without surprising anyone this was not predicted by Mark Taylor), Donald Trump's loss in the 2020 Presidential Election, the QAnon whack-jobs, the Capitol Insurrection, and a bonkers film made about this book.
Probably the most important piece of news is that Mark Taylor was wrong-or at least the voice he was listening to was wrong. Donald Trump didn't manage a second term. Sure, we can all gloat over the fact that a pretty obvious charlatan ran out of luck but, believe it or not Mark Taylor isn't finished. In fairness to Mark there's two only two options available to false prophets at this point: you can either slink off, counting out your ill gotten money-beginning the process of praying very often and very hard for God to go easy on you when you meet Him; or you can double down and claim the Devil screwed it up.
Mark of course chose the latter.
I can understand that. It's extremely cynical, but members of his audience believe that Donald Trump is currently the "secret President," that COVID-19 is a hoax, and that Hillary Clinton is running a secret Satanic sex trafficking ring. You can, in other words, sell these schmucks absolutely anything you want, at almost any price, provided you can incorporate God, and or Trump in some fashion and you don't even have to do it very well at all.
I went to Mark Taylor's website and I have never felt dirtier. It's got that same overpowering odor as a litter box full of cat pee, but it's like that smell got attached to my soul too.
A "prophecy" revealed to Mark and posted the day after the Insurrection closes: "The Spirit of God says, 'The time has come to hold all enemies of the Living God creator of Heaven and earth accountable for their atrocities against mankind. Repentance will save your soul but there will be NO MERCY in the Justice that is here now! Repent!'"
A little bit away from this is a link to buy either the updated edition of The Trump Prophecies or to a link to another site where you can purchase something called "The Special Operations Recovery Drag" which appears to be a flame retardant blanket of sorts. Anyway the basic model will put you back $200, but the deluxe one goes for $500. It's a not so subtle wink from Old Scratch...

Dear Deity! Religiose, reactionary garbage that adds to its other qualities by being written in eye-wateringly bad prose. Only in the USA could this sort of cat-tray liner find a publisher and (presumably) readers. I picked it up in the library because I thought it was a spoof. It isn’t.

The book documents Taylor's experience about how he "prophesied" Trumps presidency in 2011 (I must add so did the Simpsons in 2000). I found this book to be just full of personal antidotes and biases. The authors interpret every day occurrences like the outcomes of horse races, car accidents, people falling, and birds fighting each other, as signs from god. He makes other vague prophecies about the future but nothing specific that would qualify as an actual prophecy. He also believed God gave him prophecy regarding political issues. I found it interesting that his god believes exactly everything he does, what a coincidence!

This was much more interesting than expected. Not entirely sure of my response yet, but the contents bear thinking about. Well written, well presented.

"The following , written on April 28, 2011, entitled, "Commander-in-Chief" is what I read:

The Spirit of God says: I have chosen this man, Donald Trump, for such a time as this. For as Benjamin Netanyahu is to Israel, so shall this man be to the United States of America! For I will use this man too bring honor, respect, and restoration to America. America will be respected once again as the most powerful and prosperous nation on earth (other than Israel). The dollar will be the strongest it has ever been in the history of the United States, and will once again be the currency by which all others are judged.
The Spirit of God says: The enemy will quake and shake and fear this man I have anointed. They will even quake and shake when he announces he is running for president; it will be like the shot heard across the world. The enemy will say, "What shall we do now? This man knows all our tricks and schemes. We have been robbing America for decades; what shall we do to stop this?" The Spirit says: HA! No one shall stop this that I have started! For the enemy has stolen from America for decades and it stops now! For I will use this man to reap the harvest that the United States has sown for and plunder from the enemy what he has stolen and return it seven-fold back to the United States. The enemy will say, "Israel, Israel, what about Israel? For Israel will be protected by America once again." The Spirit says: Yes! America will once again stand hand and hand with Israel, and the two shall be as one. For the ties between Israel and America will be stronger than ever, and Israel will flourish like never before.
The Spirit of God says: I will protect America and Israel, for this next president will be a man of his word; when he speaks the world will listen and know that there is something greater in him than all the others before him. This man's word is his bond and the world and America will know this and the enemy will fear this, for this man will be fearless. The Spirit says: When the financial harvest begins, so shall it parallel in the spiritual for America.
The Spirit of God says: In this next election they will spend billions to keep this president in; it will be like flushing their money down the toilet. Let them waste their money, for it comes from and is being used by evil forces at work, but they will not succeed, for this next election will be a clean sweep for the man I have chosen. They (the enemy) will say things about this man, but it will not affect him, and they shall say it rolls off of him like the duck, for as the feathers of a duck protect it, so shall my feathers protect this next president. Even mainstream news media will be captivated by this man and the abilities that I have gifted him with, and they will even begin to agree with him: says the Spirit of God."
(Mark Taylor & Mary Colbert, The Trump Prophecies, Page 58-60)

This prophecy was given to Mark Taylor in 2011. Mark Taylor was a retired firefighter whom God used to prophesy that Trump would be president. There are yet a few things in this prophecy to come to pass that I can see, they are:

* "The dollar will be the strongest it has ever been in the history of the United States, and will once again be the currency by which all others are judged";

* "When the financial harvest begins, so shall it parallel in the spiritual for America";

* "Even mainstream news media will be captivated by this man and the abilities that I have gifted him with, and they will even begin to agree with him".

This book has prophecies in it, but mainly it is a call to the Church to be God's Army and take and hold their ground and be used by God in the last days. It is also sober reminder that we, the Church will be held accountable for what we have done on this earth.

"For it is time for judgment to begin with the household of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God?" (1 Peter 4:17, NASB)

To my horror, my elderly mother was reading this book, so I skimmed it to see what it has to say and the author claims spirit told him that Donald Trump always tells the truth and that the American dollar is going to be incredibly strong, among a bunch of other unbelievable crap. Apparently, the man who 25 women have accused of sexual assault, who contradicts himself with every other thing that comes out of his mouth, makes fun of special needs people, who disbanded the pandemic team Obama formed, sought foreign interference in our elections from both the Ukraine and China, who brags about grabbing women by the p*ssy, who defends white supremacists, wants to build a wall like this is 1960s Berlin, and whose gross mishandling of the pandemic has resulted in the US having the highest rates of Covid-19 and which has also tanked our economy - is ordained by god. I highly recommend this book as fuel for your firepits. What a steaming load of crap.

The altright certainly took away the christian right's limelight. The author claims to have gotten a prophecy from god that Donald Trump would win the presidential election. The thing about prophecy is that it doesn't have to be theologically founded. So the question why not Rick Santorum? is not answered. The following prophecies are among others about OPEC going to fall and 501(3)c churches being false churches.

This book has it all. God appointed Trump to be president. But God definitely did not appoint Obama to be president. How do we know. Well because God speaks though horse races, especially triple crown winners. Good thing the Illuminati made the book. And how else to explain Washington but as an altar to Ba'al. I really want to know what this author was doing in order to write prophecy that sounded like Dr Susse.

Don't quite know how to take this book. I had to force myself to finish it. Some information seemed reasonable and some to me was pure bunk. I think the book has a very incorrect title (misleading) as Trump does NOT know what is coming next, only GOD knows that. And if this man is a prophet, his mouth deceives, i.e., lies, brash, truly not the actions of someone that is in public office. I am appalled by the "high school" mentality (Twitter). Sorry Mark and Mary, I think I will stick with the Bible, not paraphrased conversations you claim our a Spirit or word of God. This just reinforces my thoughts about how dishonorable a man Trump really is!

My father read this and it sounded interesting so I tried it out. I couldn't even finish it. It goes against some of my core beliefs....God speaking through horse races?? Just don't believe that. I'm not saying my God can't do that....I just found this whole thing hard to believe. I read half of it, and just couldn't get into it, so I abandoned the book. Poor thing....hope it catches someone else's attention...

Retired firefighter turned prophet? Mark Taylor sounds the call for revival in The Trump Prophecies: The Astonishing True Story of the Man Who Saw Tomorrow...and What He Says Is Coming Next. Taylor’s claim to fame is that he supposedly received a prophecy in 2011 predicting that Donald Trump would become President of the United States. But more than that, that Trump had God’s anointing and was appointed for “such a time as this.” The first half of the book kind of drags on a bit as he goes through his career as a firefighter and his struggles with various illnesses. And while Taylor seems sincere in his beliefs, his prophecies are rather random (with themes of D-Day and racehorses), and oddly specific in content (talking about the Illuminati, OPEC, and 501(c)(3) tax codes). Additionally, the tone of the prophecies has a distinct right-wing bent to them; suggesting that Taylor may be prophesying more than just God’s word. Also, the use of the original King James Bible version of scripture passages isn’t the most user friendly. Unfortunately The Trump Prophecies: The Astonishing True Story of the Man Who Saw Tomorrow...and What He Says Is Coming Next reads more like propaganda than true prophecy.

This is the biggest bunch of bullshit that I have had the misfortune of buying EVER. Full of lies and biblical manipulations written by a man whose mental background is fraught with depression and hallucinations suggestive of schizophenia. If you are a mindless Trump fan you might like it. Purporting to have visitations by God that he has chosen Trump as president to lead the country into success trumps history in his presidency has nearly destroyed our country. ICK!!! I feel like I should take a long bath after reading it!

Great read. I believe this man is a true prophet of God. We were seeing our Lord God at work today in our country, in our world.

This book was very informative also written well. It was about hope and getting rid of evil and corruption. For me it also fired me up to get and move.

A friend sent me one of Mark's videos and after searching I found his book.

This is certainly better than the 'doom and gloom' prophecies that are making the rounds these days. Mark's prophecies are NOT doom and gloom, and in the book he goes into the reasons why they are not. After reading about the differences and the reasons why, I am convinced he is right.

He says in the book he is not a prophet; he doesn't claim to be, but he does prophecy, when God gives him dreams or visions. In a lot of ways, his story/what he went through in life, is very similar to mine, so I paid even more attention to what he was saying. It just rang true in my spirit. Nevertheless, I underlined a lot of the book (updated version) and will go back and reread regarding his prophecies about America and the Trump presidency in the coming months and years. I can highly recommend this book.

I have listened to several interviews with Mark Taylor and Mary Colbert, and I was concerned that this book might simply be a restatement of everything I had previously heard, but this was not the case. The writing was superb, and many details of Mark and Mary's story came to life in this work, along with some explanations of things Mark has said in the past. This book is well worth a read.

There are some fallacies

I read the book and agree with most of the dialogue, however there are some huge fallacies in the book.
There are no curses in a regularly constituted ledge of masons, stating this is detrimental to the craft and false reporting. Lyndon Johnson only participated in the first degree of masonry , he went no farther. I suspect ,knowing Johnson,he had a terior motive, and didn't want to put the time and effort in to proceed. I've been in masonry over 40 years and know these things to be true. Masonry seldom speaks of LBJ, and when brothers do,it's with an unfavorable opinion.

Truth or fiction? Good News or Fear Mongering?
CAN any one predicate the election after it is over?
Is this what we are called to believe?
Are we as people of God called to treat everyone equally?
Are we to build borders and hoard what we have from those who have not?
Or are we called to Love those that are different? Feed the hungry? Visit those is prison? Do good to those that hate ?
What does it take to love our neighbor as ourselves?
Is our current President someone that chooses to be honest, just and kind?
What does the Lord ask of us? Micah 6:8
Is he a dictator that wants his own way?
Is it possible that he is another like Nebuchadnezzar and will be put out to pasture where he can eat grass like an ox for seven years? see Daniel 4:33.
Will our President loose his power because of his pride and arrogance?
“Hear then the parable of the sower”. Matthew 13:18This parable is not about soil, it is about the sower. Not about us. But about God.
“Listen!” Jesus says, “a sower went to sow…” and with those first few words gives us the GOOD NEWS. The GOOD NEWS that God has decided to love everyone, no matter whether we feel they good enough or not. Because God’s love is given because God has declared it is given – for all of us.

I’ll admit this was a hard book for me to get through in that the author makes claims that Donald Trump was chosen by God to become president and will usher the United States into a glorious new era.

The book begins with the author sharing his life story as well as his career as a firefighter and God’s voice speaking to him. Throughout the book, he shares several of his prophecies and encourages the reader to pray for Trump and to remove themselves from organized religion since God feel this is corrupt.

To me, this book’s title is meant to draw Trump supporters in and justify his legitimacy as president by implying that he has been chosen by
God. For other readers such as myself, I am reading this book as one man’s opinion on recent events.

It’s interesting to me how many of his “prophecies” on everything from horse races to everyday occurrences seem to come true. I worry about how many other people support this mode of thinking and how many believe that Trump is a savior as well as what type of world will be left in his wake.

Us e for the average person to understand

If you are not one who receives prophecy the imagery and language is hard to understand. Much like revelation is full of images of the mind, this writer assumes you can decipher some of what he is trying to say. I am not being critical because the one time I know God spoke to me it was in a riddle. Not that I could not understand the language, but the meaning of what He was saying was hidden from me until my heart was ready for the message. So it is with this book. While I want to believe everything the author is saying, I can not find faith to believe what I so desperately want to believe. Perhaps it has calmed some of my fears for what I see happening in today's world. Only time will tell. Perhaps am more hopeful God will restore America. It will truly take His intervention. I need time to let this book settle into my spirit.

Probably a more honest review would be 1 1/2 stars.

I don't really have anything against what Mark Taylor writes. His prophecies and story is interesting and compelling and worth hearing. The reason I gave the book such a low rating was that his co author, Mary Colbert recommends the book, "The Circle Maker" and used this book to lead her in her prayer ministry to help elect President Trump.

"The Circle Maker" is based on a witchcraft ritual and comes from the story of a Jewish sage out of the Talmud.

I just don't understand someone who claims to be a Christian, yet is on President Trump's evangelical advisory board and is promoting "The Circle Maker." Strange times indeed.

Do your research and put your discerning cap on when you read this one.

Mark Taylor, a retired firefighter, prophesied that Trump would be President back in 2011. That has come to pass so I wanted to read more about his story. Overall, I liked the book. I do believe his experiences are legit. It will be interesting to see if his other prophetic words come to pass. There was one prophetic word that I had reservations about. A significant portion of the book deals with the author defending / arguing for some of the words. I thought his view on churches who request to be tax exempt was a bit rigid and not well argued. But other than that, I didn't have many issues with his book.

Hope Joy and peace

This has been the most uplifting book I have read regarding our role in the end times. I admit to being afraid and wanting to hide in a cave because of all the hate anger and violence I did not know how to find my way. It is all right here. I will not be afraid and can do my part to defeat the evil around me. The author is not boastful or putting himself above us he is right with us in the trenches helping us change this country back into the America that was moral, good, never giving into the evils that were shoved at us. Are you concerned about the future worried where our world will be, this book will put you at ease

I would like the authors to respond to what is happening today in 2023. I found this book confusing and shocking because I have found Trump to be mentally ill. He is a compulsive liar, a cheater, name calls like a spoiled child and never takes accountability for anything. Everything is about himself and I am shocked to see how many people believe his lies and support him. I am more than worried about our county and democracy. It is in grave jeopardy with people like him and the way they think. If a person wants a dictator, they should move to Russia, China or North Korea.

Each reader needs to really think about what this book's stating and determine their own fate.

Thought provoking

Good story of the authors life. I don't believe he is a prophet, but may have received visions and had spiritual experiences, many of us do. I too prayed about Trump and strongly felt he would be our next president. Getting into the tax exempt discussion, I feel the author missed a few points why it is helpful to churches. The congregation needs to stick to its teachings of GOd and the scriptures but still have free choice to vote for whom they chose and campaign as they see fit as we are given our free agency to do so.

I did find it a good read.
