Great overview of - and introduction to - the main ideas of 50 of the worlds top management thinkers. Cant help being somewhat superficial, but a great starting point;
Cherry pick, then deep dive by choosing your favourites, reading the underlying body of work afterwards.

I generally enjoyed reading this book. While there are more gems in the book, I am impressed upon a few points:

- on leadership- the need for creating a sense of purpose is becoming more important in this age;

- on innovation- it is about creating a safe environment;

- on talent management- do take heed of the rise of female talents and focus on talents with unique positioning and skills;

- on self-management - do create a feedback loop so that you get in touch with reality.

Quick read with 50 letters to CEOs on how to better engage with staff and lead their businesses. Effectively a collection of short business cases. Good book.
