The Kinky Bank Robbers are back with a new installment of sexy fun, adventure, mystery, and love. I totally adored and devoured this one. As the always fun and witty narrator, Isis had me laughing within the first page and that was only the start. There were so many lines I chuckled, snorted, and simply enjoyed.

“…it would be dorky if my bank robbers put air quotes around the phrase make a withdrawal when they talked about knocking over a bank.”

But this time around the robbers have temporarily ceased making withdrawals, focusing on their PI business…oh and maximizing Isis’s pleasure of course.

There’s an intriguing detective plot that kept me guessing and more edge of your seat adventures, all intertwined with kinky fun.

“I burst into a zillion shards of pleasure, coming shamelessly in the crowded nightclub.”

I adore the way the story always feels lighthearted even when danger abounds and forces (from outside and within) threaten to break up the gang for good. Yet, there’s so much depth to the characters, the romance the foursome share, and the conflicts they face.

“‘This is how we express our love for each other, and if anybody wants to act like it’s wrong, I will fuck them up.’”

While the god pack family is being tested so is the gods’ bromance and you can feel the tension and testosterone oozing off the page. There are mysteries to solve, secrets to be revealed, and dreams to be fulfilled. It all leads up to a dirty, heartwarming, climax.

Can the gods solve their first case? Who will fit Isis’s “profile?” Or does their tight knit group have an expiration date that’s looming?

Meanwhile, more colorful supporting characters of the criminal underworld round out this edition, and I’ve come to enjoy meeting the gang’s “friends.” There’s never a dull moment and it’s hard to read without wanting your own god pack…except for maybe the inability to walk straight the next day. ;-)

But this series is really so much more than an erotic ménage; it’s an amazing love story of commitment and trust.

“‘We’re all outlaws. Let’s be fucked up together.’”

I'm not feeling this at the moment. I'm not really interested in the detective agency, and if Zeus says "Uh uh uh" ONE more time during sex I will lose it.

You just have to go with the campiness of these books. I was a bit surprised that there were some serious aspects to this one. Zeus seemed a little melancholy. You knew he liked his life in the present, but the idea of the past seemed to get to him. It didn't help that they 3 guys seemed to be fighting and Isis had to play peacekeeper.

I did think it was a bit odd that all of them opened a PI business. I found the idea of criminals needed PI's to be funny, but sort of made sense. The case was pretty easy, I figured out who the bad guy was early on. It was funny how offended the guys got when it seemed like they got turned in to ZOX.

The bit with ZOX got old fast, the only interesting part was the manipulation. I was glad that it backfired.

The ending had me laughing, because I love how they act as 4 loving unit. Taking time when they didn't have it to give one of the members something they needed. I hope they manage to stay ahead of ZOX, even better would be for them to make things public and get their lives back.

Picking up shortly after the conclusion of the previous story, the God Pack is still living at their lair in Los Angeles and have decided to start a private investigator service, giving their lives a little bit of normalcy. However, this isn't a regular PI firm as they cater to their fellow criminals. Their first client, Diego, wants the gang to prove that he didn't steal his future father-in-law's prized Corvette, taking it on a joy ride and crashing it. The more involved the gang becomes in the case, the more danger they face from an old enemy.

The Most Wanted is an excellent addition to one of my recently discovered favorite series, the Kinky Bank Robbers, which follows the same group of lovers from book to book as they live an outrageous lifestyle. While the off-center humor and sexy scenes are what originally drew me to the books, Ms. Martin continues to develop the individual characters and group as a whole, putting them into emotionally difficult situations that allow them to grow. The Most Wanted finds the foursome at odds with each other, which bothers Isis a lot. As the newest member (and only female) of the God Pack, she worries that this undercurrent of aggression and discontent will break apart her newly-found family. Following the gang on their journey to the other side of their troubles gave this book a bit of a distinctive feel from the first three.

But despite the darker emotional edge, Ms. Martin continues to bring the humor, causing me to laugh out loud more than a few times. I could easily site a couple dozen scenes and lines, but here is one of my favorites:

"Poor Odin always tried so hard to tone down his beautiful male model looks and go for a gruff badass appearance, and it never worked. He could glue a dead tarantula to his nose, and even then, people would be like, why does that super-hot guy have a dead tarantula glued to his nose?"

The Most Wanted brings more to the table that just a silly bank-robbing romp. This one had the same humor as the previous titles, yet there was a darker emotional component. These bandits have been together as a foursome for a while now, so a deeper connection is warranted, yet I didn't expect this level of emotional strife and depth from a series that has been mostly outrageous and goofy. In the end, I completely adore the God Pack and look forward to where life takes them next.

My Rating: A- Enjoyed A Lot

What can I say about The Most Wanted?
The Kinky Bank Robbers books have held a special place in my heart for a long time. There’s something about them; a mixture of fun, suspense, sexiness and surrealism that I’ve not found anywhere else.
To say I was excited for the fourth book is an understatement. I’ve been stalking Annika Martin on a bi-weekly basis waiting for TMW to arrive. The suspense should have made the reality a little bit of a letdown. It didn’t.
Isis is back and her boys are back and as wild and hilarious as ever. The four of them have started a detective agency. Unfortunately they’re still be hunted by a hella dangerous government agency and setting up shop in downtown LA isn’t subtle even if you’re not a sexy four person couple (or romantic unit as Zeus so often says)
This book had everything; the familiar hilarious banter, the Gigi’s, hot sex, lovely romance, mystery, did I mention hot sex and the stakes felt satisfyingly higher than before. And HOLY SHIT you find out the rest of the God Pack’s real names.
I knew before I even put The Most Wanted down that I’d be reading again.

I really enjoyed the first 3 books, as they were fun, quirky, surprising and very hot. This entry, not so much. Way too much angst in many forms, and while the sex scenes were intense, they lacked the discovery aspects of the earlier books - when taking on 3 guys at once becomes ordinary, there is something not right.

Conversely, the mystery was pretty clever, and the resolve came out of left field, if a bit preachy.

I probably won't read the next one unless someone tells me that it's fantastic.

This is my favorite erotica series. Out of all the books in this series, this one is my second favorite next to the first one,

The Most Wanted made me laugh, super hot and get all misty eyed. I sighed a lot. I loved the dynamics between the gang, and I lived that they had a hard time of it-II felt like the characters grew a lot in this book, and we got to know more about Zeus, Thor, and Odin. I love each of the guys so much-I just want to give them all hugs.

Isis has really grown on me and I like that she doesn't take crap from the guys and isn't afraid to tell them that's she's their equal. I also loved how when she was turned on in different places and times & was like I can't believe I'm turned on right now."

I also enjoyed that this had more of a plot then the others and that we hit to see some characters from past books. This book works on as a standalone, but I don't recommend it. While I loved the mystery Angkor of the book, the ending just felt well, rushed and felt a bit off-and I can't decide if it's because it left with a storyline to be continued in the next book or not. It's why I ramjet going back and forth between 4 and 5 stars. It's more of a 4.5-4.9 read.

this is my favorite read of the year and favorite all time erotica series. If you love erotica, this is a must read series.

The Most Wanted
The Kinky Bank Robbers are back with a new installment .. the God Pack family-Isis ,Odin, Thor & Zeus! The team is taking a break from their Bank Robbing to run a PI business and the book keeps you on the edge of your seat. Not everything is smooth sailing between the gang and there are challenges that threaten to tear the group apart. But despite all the happenings, Isis and her gods still get plenty of hot, kinky action!! I couldn't stop turning pages fast enough!

This series has been one of the most surprising books I've read this year so far. I really love these characters so much and the story is pretty damn great. I read the books all one after the other, it was so addicting! What a crazy sexy hot books! Three hot bank robbers take Melinda as a hostage, and gives her a thrill of a lifetime.

I have been waiting for this book since I stumbled across the series last year. I love everything about these dark and dangerous men and their fearless leading lady and this book certainly didn't disappoint! By beginning to answer some of the questions about how such an unconventional relationship could possibly survive 'real-life', it also blows the door wide open for more exploration... I.e. More books! It was funny, tender, centered around a truly beautiful love and absolutely filthy. If you like your fiction a lot on the wild side, then you won't ever want to get off this rollercoaster... unless there's a certain badass trio waiting for you on the ground ;-)

Oh wow. So hot. Such a great story and so hot...

Annika Martin does it again. She has found the perfect formula to have a story be hot and sexy but also a story. A good story, at that.

Not everything is roses and moonshine when you're a team/family/group, sometimes cracks appear and you'll have to repair them. It was interesting to see how the team dealt with that in between solving a case and having super hot sex. Yum.

I frickin' love this series. I love all the guys and Isis too. In this story you learn what the guys' real names are and a little bit more of their background. There is a rough spot between the guys for a while but it is worked out and it is good to see that there can be problems with even a tight group.
Love this menage story but how are they ever going to get away from ZOX and live a fairly normal life?

re-read and want more.

Reread 9/22 : Still love this series. One of the most original, sexy and fun series I've ever read. Will always be one of my favorite series.

Originally read 9/16: 3.75 stars. I've really enjoyed this series! I loved the God pack and their love for each other through all their adventures. I hope there is more to come because I want to see what's next for them and I want them to have a baby!

Always a fun treat to have another in this bonkers series of a woman and her three bank-robber beaus. Bottom line, I really liked this one because we have some actual conflict within the menage group!

In this one, the bank robbers briefly try to go straight(ish) and open a detective agency. They're hired by a hood who feels he's been framed in order to cause a rift between him and the mafia boss whose daughter he's dating. In the course of this investigation, the guys' old agency, ZOX, catches up with them, including Agent Denko. Denko is the perfect disapproving straight-edge to fuel Isis' fantasies of being watched while with her guys. Odin is very into this fantasy while Zeus is incredibly opposed. He's got some picket fence fantasies of his own that just involve him and Isis. Conflict all around! But will this stop the trio from getting it on in incredibly hot scenes? Absolutely not lol.

So yeah, really liked this one because the conflict allowed for some character growth, particularly for Odin and Zeus, and the reappearance of Denko means that some of the guys' pre-bank robber past starts to come out (we learn their real names, gasp!). It also allows for Isis, Odin, Zeus and Thor to test out their group dynamics and conflict resolution practices a bit.

The books ends with them all on the run again, and I look forward to the next.

This book was very well written. So many charater developments and you get to meet the real characters names in this book. However, the characters real names just don't fit after being so used to their badass God names, am I right??

Learning about what the characters went through in their past and why things panned out the way that it did was such a great thing to experience and I felt it deep in my soul.

What a great sense of family and love in this group and the sexiness is just in fire.

Way to go Annika - I can't wait to read more of your work!

Book #4 in the Kinky Bank Robber series. Somehow, Ms. Martin keeps topping herself. Now, in addition to hot sex and hot characters, she's added family drama and dysfunction. I don't know how she does it. Frigging amazing. What a talented writer. She explores the fragile and human side of her Alphas, namely Zeus and Odin. Ms. Martin creates these multi-dimensional characters. It's just amazing read.

Not as good as the previous three books.

The first half of the story was a whodunnit, as our intrepid bank robbers try to change careers into underworld PI work. This involved a lot of interviewing tertiary characters who interest me not at all since they are not sexy bank robbers.

The tension picks up a lot in the second half as our bank robbing little family has to work through some difficult disagreements; secrets are exposed; feelings are hurt. But it was all worth it for the make-up sex.

I only wish there had been more of the silly, sparky sexiness of the earlier books.

I don't know why I am still reading these silly things, but I am now 4 deep which means I have to finish this series out I guess. This one was totally different than the first three, it was more of a mystery/whodunnit?? Didn't see that coming. This one wasn't as good as the others, the angst amongst the group was annoying, but the smut was still fun.

There's just something about this series that keeps me hooked even though it's so unbelievable, still full of inconsistencies and I still just don't believe them to be a real foursome or as they call it "romantic unit". The references to time have remained inconsistent, this book starts off with how it's been a year since she joined up with her god pack and then later she refers to her stalker incident as having been a few months ago. That just doesn't add up. The whole idea is just so unbelievable that it's hard to not want to know what happens next, you just keep going back for more. Unfortunately even after 4 books I don't believe that they are this loving romantic unit, they say it over and over to try to make us believe it and they even claim to love each other but then the guys refer to each other as brother. There is nothing romantic about being brothers. We can see that Isis really loves her men and we can even see that the men do have a love for each other but as a foursome it's just not there. They each love her but shouldn't they like REALLY love each other romantically as well? There have been several times that two guys will get into each others face and she gets excited about the thought of them kissing but they never really have more contact then an occasional pat on the shoulder. Their relationship is much more like a polygamist which is typically a man but in this case it just seems like Isis has her a few brother husbands.

Although I'm glad the last book wasn't the end and that the author thoughtfully wrote another book to allow us to check in with the weird dynamic these four share, I hope this is the final book. It does offer closure and addresses some questions I have had since the second/third books.

I wondered when tensions would rise within the group; two overtly possessive alpha males (and a third protective one) wouldn't seem to be the best situation for a demure young woman to settle into without drama. I waited for the day when one would want more and get selfish. It happens here, but not in a bad way. And it works itself out in only the way these four can.

I love Isis and her sense of humor. She makes the crazy shenanigans a bit easier to swallow. She's so down to earth; hence, the ridiculous premise of spy-trained-soldiers-turned-bank-robbers needs a pretty grounded character to make it tolerable.

Speaking of that, I would say believable instead of tolerable, but it's not at all believable. And that's okay. It's like watching Die Hard (which they do in the book). The audience knows there's no way in hell this would happen in real life, but we buy the fantasy anyway for the entertainment. It's a fun escape... with a little kinkiness on the side.

Love, love, love these four and this book did not disappoint!! The sex is hotter than hot and the story grabs you, pulls you in and doesn't let go!! If you've read the first three books why would you stop now?!!! There's things in there that will make you moan, groan and catch your breath!! I couldn't get through one part fast enough because I HAD to know what happened, but then I went back and read it all over again to make sure I didn't miss anything!! So I highly recommend this book and the previous three, so do yourself the favor and buy it!! Enjoy!!

One of my favorites! Keeps you wanting more....

This is most definitely a favorite series of mine pretty much an automatic buy. Animal has done a lovely job with this romantic unit. It's sometimes hard to find a good menage or polyamorous book were the group feels cohesive and believable. This author does it successfully and it's great that these stories have some action and mystery so there's more substance than just romance or sexy times not that either of those are bad lol. This series is like an exotic food but not so exotic it's scary, it's also sweet and savory. So if you like romance with liberal sprinkles of reality, action or mystery I highly recommend this book! And I also hope Annika keeps expanding and righting about the God pack and their world for a little while longer cause this is a story/characters I'm invested in and hungry for more.

Not that it matters but the version " " I read had the ~cartoony cover with the chick and her major shoes ...

ANYWAY. I know. I know. It's not that I ... "knew better" than to read this book. - I did enjoy a few Annika Martin titles last year. It's... this premise. But I figure the library had it and why not and - it was hot, kinda, but also like ... extremely over the top - even from the start BEFORE the "sexytimes" - and/but one of the heroes - when he's in the middle of sexytimes goes "uh-uh-uh" at least twice and ... yo. I cannot.

And also the "code names" - and the ~heroine's name is Isis which ... I didn't check when this was first published - and obviously OBVIOUSLY it's a reference to the Egyptian goddess which I KNOW but ... you know.

I tapped out at about 10%

The Most Wanted

The God pack is back again, and what a ride!!
Bank Robbers are now private investigators with a twist because obviously they know how these guys think, work, and operate.

The mission is to help Herk clear his name to save his relationship with Maria. Someone has set Herk up, but has this also been set up for the God Pack? When Agent Denko pops up, more questions start flying.
The group is fractured. Ice is struggling. Zeus is freaking out, and Odin is off the rails, then a moment of truthfulness and clarity, and the God pack is stronger than ever.

The God pack Wedding may not be perfect for everyone, but it was perfect for them.

Can't wait for book 5 because this series just keeps getting better and better.
