For a long time I couldn't decide if I like or dislike Seke, the male lead. The guy needs some counseling. I hated that he didn't stood up to his prince about "training" Leora. What he and Zander did was wrong on so many levels. Sure she ultimately liked it but how can you force a mother to choose between her two daughters? I want to see Zander in the same position and see what he will do. What ultimately made me like Seke was that he I know that it was under Rok's influence but still it was Seke that brought it up with Zander. The sex scenes were all hotter than hell, even if Seke's behaviour was exasperating for most of the book.

I just binged read this series in three days! This one is the mother of the heroine from the first book. I'm not too fond of older characters. She's in her 40's and the Hero is in his 50's. I could have been fine if this was a novella.

I did not realize this was a continuation of a series I had already read in an anthology. It was actually a really good story that I kept thinking about. So I was very excited to read what happened next. I've missed book two but I found I was able to follow the plot easily. The chemistry was great and the story was fun to read.

Ok, it's official. These Zandians are my favorite-est aliens ever. I want one. Especially if he has a tail plug, as well!! :o
Seke is ordered by Prince Zander to punish Leora and...reaffirm her obedience training. This causes wariness and excitement on both sides, as each have felt drawn to the other from the first.
Seke takes his position as Master At Arms quite seriously, but finds mastering Leora exquisitely unique and fulfilling in a way he could never have imagined.
“I didn’t think I’d like to see you this way.”
“I didn’t think I’d want to see you debased.”
“But it turns out I vecking love it, Leora.”
The kinky hotness is almost on level with book one in this series (I'm not sure Zander and Lamira's Master/slave almost-not-play can be beat), and I greedily enjoyed every second of it.
Not only do we get Seke and Leora's story, but this ongoing saga includes growth and further bonding between Zander and Lamira, and a snippet of Rok and Lily.
I love continuing with these characters and their goal towards achieving Zandian freedom.
It appears Lundric may have a story next? I'm not for sure on that, but I do know that whoever it is, I will be eagerly devouring their story as well.

What a roller coaster of feelings!
I just finished reading the three books (so far) in the Zandian Masters series back to back. The first one was a slow build. She had been bought as a slave/breeder and I understood, as a reader, why he was cruel. There was no relationship, no respect, no feelings until they gradually opened to one another. The second in the series was a fun read, I smiled to myself during most of it. They had feelings, although reluctant ones, from the beginning. But this one--- this one I wanted to fling to the floor and stomp on it. ( Except I'm reading it on my kindle so I can't do anything so dramatic!) I was ready to string Zander and Seke up by their little horns. Zander loved Lamira. She did what she did to save her sister. She's his mate now, how dare he treat her like she's only a breeder? And Seke-- had always treated Leore with the utmost respect, punishment or no, how could he humiliate and hurt her emotionally that way? Stars were falling off my mental rating right and left. But Renee Rose has a way of making even the kinkiest relationships get their happily-ever-after, and all of the stars righted themselves again for me. I am so not a sci-fi reader, but I can't wait for the rest of this series.

I didn't particularly like this one as much as I did the first two. Maybe because it was a little akward for me that Leora is Lamira and Lily's mom. Just...weird. So I ended up enjoying the parts where we got the POV of Zander or Lamira a lot more.
Zander is livid over the stunt that Lamira pulled in order to get him to follow her to save her sister. It would be inappropriate for him to punish his mate's mother, so he gives Leora to Seke for training. After all, she should never have allowed her pregnant daughter to do something so dangerous. Seke is not pleased at all about the assignment, even though he would never allow another to do it. So Leora is cuffed and collared and about to be taught a lesson.
Seke and Leora have a complicated relationship here. Seke has always tried to protect and look out for Leora so it takes him by surprise how much he likes to cause her pain. Leora has only ever seen a gentle Seke so his harshness and occasional detachment hurts her more than the physical pain. And if their jumble of conflicting emotions isn't enough, Seke has a ton of emotional baggage from the attack on their planet and the choice he made that day. A choice that had him making vow he is honor bound to keep. No matter how desperately he wants Leora's body. Until the day Leora pushes him too far.
It was a little annoying that after two days (just two days!) they're all like 'yup, Leora has been broken and trained appropriately. Just look at her apologize!' What!? NO. AND these two have fallen so madly in love with each other that it rips them apart inside to be separated. I'm rolling my eyes again as I write this. So of course, Seke realizes his folly and rushes back to Leora as fast as he can to claim her as his mate.
Like I said, though, I liked the parts with Zander and Lamira the most. Lamira's actions have driven a huge wedge between these two. To the point that Zander can barely stand to be in the same room with her. And really, Lamira kind of brought it on herself. I mean, as Zander even says, why wouldn't she have just asked him or tried to convince him to help her sister instead of sneaking away? It takes a big misunderstanding to get these two to finally talk and get on the same page again.
The book makes it obvious who the next male to find their mate will be, and it should be an interesting one as he has to actually woo her, having been denied claiming her as his slave.

This book turned out better than the first two! I loved Seke and Leora, both have complicated pasts and how they overcome their personal obstacles is a delight to read. I also was happy to read about the change in Zander’s thinking, he was not a favorite of mine so to see this particular change was great. Loved this!

I enjoyed this story. The previous book in this story set a great stage for this storyline. This author has an excellent way of crafting major depth in her characters. Adding emotional depth and a great story within this genre.

Loved It
Lots of surprises in this story with enough action, emotions, a family reunited, and lots of steamy love scenes. I was so happy to read also about the previous characters from the other books and to see how they are dealing with their new lives. A must buy series and keep them coming.

This series is so darn much fun, and this installment was no exception. The touches of humor amidst the more serious subject matter give these books something special.
In this case, both Leora and Seke have had very traumatic experiences in their lives, and neither expected to find love again. Leora is far more flexible emotionally than Seke, but his devotion and honor make him one sexy alpha male. The punishment scenes were erotic and I enjoyed reading about the evolution of this special relationship.
This book doesn't stand alone as well as the first or second one, since it takes place directly after the events at the end of book 1, His Human Slave: An Alien Warrior Romance, and will be difficult to understand without reading at least the first book. I didn't quite understand what the goal of Leora's "training" was, or at least I didn't understand what either Zander or Seke expected to accomplish in such a short period. Perhaps it's just part of their continued misunderstanding of human nature to think you can take a human woman and make her into a totally obedient slave in a matter of days - hah! In my opinion, it's Zander and Seke who learn and change the most - but I think that may be the idea all along.
The best news is learning this isn't the end of the series after all! More about Zandian/Human interactions to come - yay!

Deliciously sexy. Angsty. I loved this third installment in the Zandian Masters series. If you read the first books you got to know Leora, Lamira's beautiful and brave mother, and Seke, Zander's right-hand large, sexy, horned, purple-skinned Zandian. We were left somewhat on a cliffhanger in the last book with Zander demanding Seke take Leora as his slave and punish her for putting her daughter and Zander's mate in danger. That order starts us off in this captivating book. I read it in one sitting- I could not put it down. I don't want to give anything away- but this book has it all: the sexy alpha aliens, hot sex and punishment, and a great storyline. I'm very glad that Ms. Rose is planning five more books! *I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

OMG !!! You cant do this to us. Now we need to know what happens next. UGH!!!! I loved the story with Seke and Leora. They both deserved to be happy and there had been always wanting from afar. But now we have more to go. We need to save those humans and give them their freedom perhaps even love as well. I soooooooooooooo cant wait till the next book.

I love Seke, he's so strong and compassionate, but still stern and dominant, but he's so tortured and conflicted by his past.
This book was definitely a fun read. Hot, sexy, alien fun! Renee Rose knows how to write fun, kinky stories!!

These get better and better as the series continues.
They tickle me. I can't help but laugh at the men and how they don't understand how the women suddenly take over their control.
It's funny because the men are all about being completely in control. Which leads to some very scorching hot erotic sex scenes.
There is a continuing plot but mostly it's about the main characters in each book and lots of sex.
They aren't serious. But they are fun.
And SCORCHING HOT 🔥

This series continues to grow in depth and charm. As the Zandian people evolve in their understanding of the humans now living among them. Preparing for the war to retake their home world back from the Finn. Time passes and I know the story will end, but maybe we will continue to enjoy the series for a while yet. Would you be willing to fight for another race for a place to live freely, knowing failure could mean your own death?

Book 3 in the Zandian Masters series
I am eating these books up like candy! I just can't stop. So far I have read the first five books in this series, and after I read one or two books that I need to get done for the month, I'll be back to finish! And, when I finish this series, I will absolutely be reading the spin-off series Zandian Brides.
This is the story of Leora (Lamira & Lily's mom) and Seke (the Zandian Master of Arms). After the events at the end of the previous book, Lamira and Leora are in trouble with Prince Zander. Lamira is Prince Zander's responsibility to punish, however, it wouldn't be appropriate for him to do so with his mate's mother, thus he tells Seke that he must punish and make Leora obedient. At the beginning Seke thinks he has no interest in correcting a human woman's behavior. However, as he begins, Seke finds that he enjoys what he does to Leora- and realizes that Leora enjoys what he does to her. From there he becomes obsessive- as all the Zandians do towards their (future) mate.
I really enjoyed this installment! It was fun to watch the "older and wiser" Zandian give into his feelings, even though it was something he thought was beneath Prince Zander. haha

Seke fought his passion until the end
Seke is the Master at Arms for the race. He is given the task of conditioning Leora for obedience training. At the end of the second book she helped her daughter in disobeying the king. Of course she had to be punished. The king gave her to Seke so she could be taught a lesson and so that he could fall in love. Seke has been alone since the death of his former wife. When the Zanadian planet fell his wife died in the explosion as Seke raced to save the young king. This is a choice he has grieved over ever since. When Seke first sees Leora he feels that tightness in his chest and the anticipation of her passing scent. He looks forward to seeing her each day and is very protective of her. As his desires increase for her he is still respectful to her. But the walls constantly crack when he is given charge of her and takes her to task. He feels guilty for wanting her and he feels disloyal to his deceased mate, but his heart wants Leora. This was a great book for this series and I loved it. ☺

This book was okay. While I’m not offended by a little spanking, I just don’t get its application here. Leora left to save the daughter that was taken from her when she was 3 years old. Who wouldn’t understand that? But because she left and Lamira Went too, she now has to be punished?
Lamira and Zander also feature in this book. I do love when characters in a series turn up in multiple books.

Of the three I have read in this series, this one is the most heart felt I have read to date. True it is about dominance and submission. A glorious story of a lifestyle cloaked in questions. With that it is most of all a beautiful love story about two pair of lovers dealing with the first true pangs of real love. Master Seke is a powerful Zandian warrior who suffered a loss that cut him off emotionally until he meets Leora, a slave that just wants freedom and to be with her daughters. The two face an unexpected love that put them in a tailspin of an adventure. As you read this book you will see love blossom. Love denied. Love takened. Love Ruling All. A great ride and read to be taken. As you immerse yourself in the world o Zandians and the chosen mates; you will see a beautifully told storyline with fiercely intense love and a heat index to make you breathless. First off, I have been waiting for this book!!! I am so glad that Seke and her Leora FINALLY got together. I thought it was going to happen in the second book. But that was save for a different story. Personally after reading all three books that the doctor is reading BDSM books on humans because these "training humans" is not that way. There is a lot of guilt, spanking, whipping and humiliation in this book. There is heartbreak within the slave/master bond and almost got me to cry. And I can tell you that no matter what species of male in the universe, they still don't tell you what they really fear. But to Renee...you better be writing the next book. This one is so worth the 2.99. And yes...the doctor still freaks me out. So when you ever get to him...that book better off the charts erotica. Warning for all of the books, have your spouse/partner/toy around at the end of reading.
