This book takes the form of a diary (2011-2015). It is dedicated to the author's newly-born granddaughter Yasmine. Each diary entry is made of two parts. The first part is a summary of the day's national and regional events. The second part is a biography of a brave and unconventional woman. Some of these biographies are based on the author's research within the CREDIF, but many of them are interviews and testimonials. The women discussed in the book are freedom fighters, politicians, activists, educators, doctors, journalists, lawyers, producers, singers, poets. This is an indispensable book that rewrites women into the history of the country. Especially important if one is curious about all the women erased from the history of the decolonial struggle.
