M.A. Rahat's writing was good but for me problem was the story.

Plot and Story was good with realizations of needed righteousness between faimlys and relationships and the name of the novel is also derived from that element of story. The real horror in this story was conclusions of reckless parenting of child rather than a entity (that was surely terrifying).

But the story and ending was fairly simple and the plot felt very stretched. Version i read was around 400 pages.Only bad thing i would say is that it was longer than it should be and conclusion wasn't very thrilling for that many pages.

I loved it anyway but i would suggest other reader if it is there first time with M.A. Rahat to go with 'Asaib Nagri' or 'Kalay Ghat Wali'.

This one sits somewhere in the middle for me. It has a certain mood that I liked, especially in the quieter, more reflective parts. But not every piece hit the same way. Some felt a bit vague, while others were actually quite strong. If you like short, emotional writing, you might still find something here.
