A Soldier's Pledge ..sweet love story!!!
Ethan and Anna are a sweet couple just trying to find their way. She's felt loss before and he has never wanted to commit. They are both denying their attraction to each other. As always St. James has well developed characters and story lines. The secondary characters are meaningful and you connect with them as well. I loved how Ethan is the first one to admit to his feelings and once he does Anna is all he wants. He will deal with all of her insecurities, break ups involving her business and his partners wise cracks as ling as Anna is his in the end. Anna has a hard time letting someone through her defenses. She has lost a love before and doesn't think she would live through it again. Watching her come to grips with her feelings and being open about them makes this book and enticing read.

Anna had her heart shattered by one man and she refuses to take those pieces and give them to another. Loving a protector isn't easy. They put their lives on the line everyday. As a wife to a protector myself, I can see how hard it would be for Anna to open her heart again for another protector after losing the first one. I really felt for her.
But luckily for her, Ethan didn't take no for an answer. I love him not only for the way he protects Anna from the nefarious folk, but for his patience, gentleness, and persistence getting her to realize she love him as much as he loved her.
This book had a little of everything. Heartbreak, Passion, Murder, Love and Healing. Yeah I admit I had a tear or two run down my cheek a time or two.
But luckily for her, Ethan didn't take no for an answer. I love him not only for the way he protects Anna from the nefarious folk, but for his patience, gentleness, and persistence getting her to realize she love him as much as he loved her.

3.5 stars best in the series. Ethan is a detective with the Willow Haven police department. He's dated Anna, CEO of a local real estate company, for a year. He's all in and know he loves and wants to marry her. The death of her fiance while on active duty and life changing injuries to her brother while also on active duty, made her lock down her heart. She won't commit to more than friends with benefits and no sleeping over, even if she knows what she feels for Ethan is so much more. When a local crime spree targets her company and possibly Anna, Ethan basically moves in forcing Anna to admit her true feelings. Having a live in detective proves handy when the criminal ring takes Anna. Ethan will stop at nothing to get her back.

Such a great story of love and courage. This one is about Anna and Ethan. The series has all of the same characters in a group..ex-military who are injured and need a reason to continue being the men they should be. The women are strong but still need protecting from something and someone! The whole group are like family and each book tells of a couple and how they found each other. This is a very good read.

Who's The Bad Guy
This was expertly written and had some realistic characters. I love this series. There is a bad guy in it who kidnaps Anna.I for one never guessed who the culprits were. This is a fast read. It's a story that pulls you in and doesn't let go until the end. There is a small amount of sexual content and a grand amount of romance, like gourmet dinners , flowers included.

Beyond Valor
This series of books is fast to read and each book is stand alone. This is a new author for me but I will diffently keep a look out for more of her books. And if you read Susan Stoker you will like Lynne St. James.

This was a fantastic story with great characters, humor, drama, and suspenseful twists and turns that will keep the pages turning until the end.

A slow build to the real story line but picked up towards the last two chapters. A guess who done it kind of story. Some danger, a lot of heat and surprises at the end. HEA.

Anna is a hard working woman. She loves her job. Ethan is the local sheriff, he is a good guy. He loves Anna more than anything, but she keeps him at a distance. A string of robbery's and someone falling Anna, will bring them closer.

I adore this book, I had not read it as part of the Cuffed and Claimed anthology but I'm so glad I got the chance with this revised and extended version. For me it's the humour throughout the story, not just from the main characters (chop, chop), but others like Steele. The plot was gripping and though I saw part of what was coming there was a twist in the end. I'm really looking forward to any future books in this series

Beautiful story. Anna had her wall up, not wanting to get hurt. Ethan didn't see the need to commit fully. But once he realized she was it for him, nothing will stop him.

When the houses her reality business is showing are being broken into, Evan talks her into moving in with him for protection. Can Anna let Evan Into her heart? Can they solve the break ins?

This is an expanded story of a previous inclusion in an anthology. Loved the first one, more in love with this longer one. Ethan is "hot". The twists and turns awesome. I am loving this series and cannot wait to see what Ms. St. James has planned for future installments.

Beautiful ! This was a beautiful love story with suspense and twist . It's about giving love a second chance and finding it . A must read .

Possibly my favorite of the series! The writing felt tighter in this installment, and I really liked the characters.
