Jack Noble continues the action and suspense while taking a job from an old boss man..

Love these books by L.T.Ryan, a great read that keeps you going through many twists and turns. Jack takes a job from an Old Man, to find, hurt and kill a man named Thanos. As his job goes on he meets an ex FBI agent, Lexi, who lies about her status but also needs to find Thanos, and even his old SIS boss Frank. His friend Bear gets together with him for the operation and their skills are needed, as things change constantly, so we don't know who to believe. There is non-stop action, you travel across the USA , trying to figure out what all people have to do with the Thanos man. A thrilling, suspenseful book, ready for the next story already!

Clean and entertaining. The plots continue to engage the readers attention and interest. I like the main characters morals and that the novels are profanity and sex (not romance) free. Audio was clear and pleasant. On to the next episode ..

Update: next in series didn’t follow the same guidelines… profanity and sexual innuendo are present throughout.

Great Book

Enjoyed this book. Jack surpassed his other books . Enjoyed seeing he was human and not a person with no feelings.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading End Game by L.T. Ryan. Jack Noble isn't picky about his jobs now a days and takes on the role of a hitman for a mob boss. Just when he thinks he has it all wrapped up, things fall apart. The hit has disappeared, and instead, Noble crosses paths with an FBI agent who is also looking for the hit - but has different plans for him. Before I knew it, every agency wants to find this man. Noble's old boss in the secret agency rehires him and allows Bear to join him in this manhunt. The hit has something that everybody wants. Yet nobody knows what it is.

Noble and Bear both find themselves on defense as the mob boss issues a hit on Jack Noble. This is an edge of your seat suspense story where the author changes things up just when you think the mystery is solved. Trust plays a big part in this story and Jack has to determine who is his friend and who is his foe. A wrong guess will get him killed.

During the hunt, Noble and Bear are joined by a couple of deadly females...are they going to help them or deliver the hit against Noble? It's a long and wild ride with a lot of bodies left in their wake...don't start this late at night...of course, popcorn is always optional!

I have just finished the End Game of Jack Noble 12 so I have now read ALL of the Jack Noble books I think, looking at the list I have completed the whole series, they have been an absolute joy to read and I hope that there will be more to read, I think there was a suggestion that another book is due out soon to read, and any lucky readers seeing when it comes out will get a free copy, that would be nice as I have spent quite a lot on making sure I read the whole Series, some of the stories carry on from book to book and some of them go back in time and then fill in all the gaps that have been missing, I enjoy the commararadie between Jack Noble and Bear, and how they work together, and it was a shame in this book and the previous book that Bear was not around so much but Jack Noble has a Big heart and always makes things good and I like that, he is finally getting to the truth of all that is happened and what is happening and I am looking forward to the new book, it should be a good book? I wonder if it will carry on from this book or whether or not it will be something new, either way I hope that it is out soon. I am sorry that I have read them all as I now feel lost and do not have a reason to pickup my Kindle to have a read, so please please let us have the new book!!!

Pitiful. LT Ryan is not an author. He is a writer, a dreamer. This book is one of a series. Ryan abandons the series and the effect previous books have on the present book (End Game). Major players are long since dead (Charles and Frank Skinner). Retract this book and write a book consistent with the series, you jerk. While you are at it, fire your editors, the ones responsible for grammatical errors and errors of fact, of which you are guilty of throughout the entire Jack Nobel series. Great plots, from time to time; hints of brilliance from time to time, obliterated by overkill via use of improper tenses, excessive use of adjectives and adverbs and from time to time, loss of contact with theme and scene. Overall, a three for the entire series.

Though I loved the book. I didn't like the fact that it wasn't a continuation of book #11. It lost some of it's punch when I knew that Frank and Charles were dead. I kept thinking he was going to link what was happening in book 11 with the End Game in book 12. Sort of in the same manner he connected Jack's early years with the events in the End Game. I wasn't disappointed enough to discard the previous works. I would love to read Noble #13. I know there has to be a "Grand Finale" to this story. Jack has to clear his name. I can't wait.

Poor

I love the Jack Noble series, but this particular book was very poor. Disappointed that #12 didn’t progress from #11 but went back into the past. Little action and poor storyline.

I started reading the novel with the idea that this was a follow up to Book 11, and perhaps to learn the fates of the various characters who were harmed in said previous adventure. I hoped perhaps Mr. Noble would find himself a nice drinking establishment on the beach to invest in and merely keep in touch with Bear and the others while they continued dealing with "the bad guys". No such luck. After a short intro, we were taken into the world of a previous time frame in Jack Noble's illustrious career, and while on a par with other books (I have to say that he, as the main character, at least runs into situations that get beyond him sometimes, or at least gets his share of damage- tho he does seem to heal pretty fast (important ability for any true hero of a novel). So I suppose I would have given it my usual 4 if it weren't for my reaction to the misleading title.

Okay, this was a pretty good story, except for some of the people who died. I mean, really, why does an author EVER let you get to know someone, and really like them, and then kill them off. Anyway, that's one reason I'm done with the Jack Noble series. The other is having it written in the first person. I've read other books written in the first person but L.T. Ryan uses "I" a lot more than others do. The word "I" had to have been used a thousand times in this story. Plus, it's really annoying when it's-all-about the main character and NO ONE else. A lazy way to write a story. in my opinion.

Fade to black sex and the F-bomb was used 7 times.

As to the narration: Dennis Holland has a nice voice but he doesn't do very good. His voice is never any different, same tone all the time. There were soooo many times he should have whispered and didn't. That made to book stupid.

Before Jack Noble can retire (again), Frank Skinner tells him he has to do one more job/contract: Marcus Hamilton Thanos.

His assigned "partner" is killed (yes, Noble usually works alone or with Bear, but he had no choice on this mission) & he runs into another old partner/flame, Lexi. Things get interesting & eventually team up with Bear but, after the hit, they part ways ~ maybe for good?

Will Noble take his daughter (who's still living with his brother & family) & retire into the sunset? I doubt it, but you never know. He certainly won't have to worry about being blackmailed by Frank Skinner after this episode, but Charles could still be a problem in the future.

Can he give up the BIG money contracts? Can he give up the challenge & excitement? Time will tell.

Don't Expect a Happy Ending

In J. Noble's line of work there ARE no happy endings. People killed, lives destroyed, lies...and for what? Turns out it's for some never-defined documents in a briefcase that may hold classified information. So Noble kills a slew of people who try to kill him, and almost succeed, and he goes back to a solitary life, looking over his shoulder every second for someone who wants him dead or is being payed by someone who does. Sounds like the world we live in. Imagine for a moment: Imagine a world where we worked together for the good of everyone instead of living in fear of everyone. I suppose it's human nature and will never be, but don't expect a happy ending to such a world.

To be perfectly honest I stopped reading after I stopped skimming at around 8% on my Kindle. I'm certain this a good story as I thoroughly enjoyed, and read ravenously, several of Ryan's books in a matter weeks but no continuity with the present story line and revisiting/reviving long dead (thankfully dead) characters couldn't hold my interest. Jack had matured beyond what was presented in this novel and I simply had no interest in finishing it.

I'm sure Ryan spun another great tale. Had I picked it up without knowing the story I'm sure it would have entertained.

Great book! L.T. Ryan knows how to develop a book to keep your interest until you finish the book. I kept saying one more chapter, and before I knew it I finished the book. It was full of suspense, twists, and surprises. When Jack and Bear get together, there is always a sense of humor in tough situations. The book is fast-paced and action-filled. I hope that you enjoy it as much as I did. Happy reading!!

I have LOVED all the Jack Noble books but was very disappointed when I discovered this book has nothing to do with the previous book #11. Based on the title, I thought this might be the culmination of the series. Instead, the setting is framed between two earlier books and has nothing to do with the storyline going forward from the last book. WHY??!! Hopefully, book #13 will get back on track. I enjoyed the read, but felt it should have been earlier in the series.

End Game

For L. T. Ryan this was a decent read. More of a mystery than a shoot 'm up. And I'm not sure we even learned what the mystery was. Only that it lead Jack, Bear and an ex-FBI agent halfway around the world to find it. Half the characters disappeared, some in an unusual way. Mysterious characters connected in surprising ways. I don't know. This definitely was not my favorite Jack Noble book. I think this will be the first Jack Noble book I give less than five stars.

Already waiting for#13

The entire series is well written, the characters are believable and well fleshed out.... The "good guys" and the "bad guys" seem to stay in their lanes. There are confusing conflicts that almost certainly exist in the world these people populate and they are handled simply and well.
In short the whole series jumps off the page as a well written should, leaving you wanting more.

I did not like the fact that this book did not follow on from previous book chronologically. This book went back in time and although a bit of a convoluted story it was enjoyable .
Having read all the previous books in the series part of the attraction is knowing what happens to Jack and Bear.
I hope the next book gets back on track and we can continue to find out what happens to the main characters.

When you can trust no one, life is complicated!

Lots of twists and turns that will keep the reader guessing! There were few typos, but they don't take away from the story. Noble is put to quite the test of his skills and he is forced to keep his word within more than ever! Looking forward to the next in the series!

End Game. L.T. Ryan

An extremely well written action thriller. Twists and turns on every page. Who can Jack trust? Only Bear, his best friend and partner in arms. Jack is given a contract to forfill. Nothing is as it appears. The bodies are piling up. Rest assured, Jack and. Bear will figure it out. A stupendous read! I highly recommend!!

Lee Ryan has another winner here. Jack Noble is at the top of his game and paired once again with his best friend and sidekick, Bear. An intriguing story with plenty of twists, turns, and surprises as Jack relentlessly unravels the confounding situation he finds himself in and brings it to a successful, satisfying conclusion. I received an ARC copy which in no way influenced my review.

Good guy or bad guy?

I haven't read any of this series since number 2. I was not completely comfortable with the shift in paradigm. Although the characters are still strong and the writing compelling , it's difficult to accept the rogue behavior. Since this is an add on I will withhold final judgment until after the next episode.

A page turner from beginning to end

Well written and exciting. Each chapter left me wondering what was going to happen next. I have read all 12 of the Jack Noble books. I almost feel I
Know Jack and Bear, the main characters personally. Keep up the good work Mr. Ryan. I'm looking forward to reading number 13.

"Another Exciting Jack Noble Suspense"

This is again a very captivating story of Jack Noble who takes on a role as hit man for a mob boss. Noble and Bear also then find themselves being hunted by the mob boss. Who exactly is it that wants to murder noble? He's just never out of trouble. An amazing, fast-paced thrilling story.

Good story, I enjoyed it. It was a little odd going back in the timeline with this story, but the author did an excellent job at fitting it in. The Jack Noble series has been a great series. L.T. Ryan has developed some excellent characters in the series and it's been difficult to put a book down. Bravo.

Job expanded over the world...

This was an international thriller. Jack & Bear broke the code of the mystery and are ready for their next adventure. Many of the characters in this story are removed from the circle of life. That new that when they made their l choice for their vocation. I recommend this book.

"Just one more chapter then I`ll turn the light off" and the next thing you know it`s 2:00 AM, you will enjoy this book. Thank you Mr. Ryan for a great read.

Very disappointing

Thought this might be the culmination of the series. Instead, the setting is framed between two earlier books and has nothing to do with the storyline going forward from the last book. Not sure if I will come back for the next book.
