The only problem I have with Quickies is that it misses a lot of the "build up" to something special. This type of story as an example needs the history, tension, disappointment of the years gone by before being reunited years later. Would have enjoyed the story more if it was full length with more "heart" thrown in....Or is the quickie reference to these stories just this one time thing...?

Unlike any of the other quickies, I was prepared for this one to end the way it did. It's like a fangirl's or groupie dream come true. Raine got to meet, or should I say reacquaint, herself with an old friend, who just happens to have a very popular band. Who also just happens to have a long standing crush on her. Sparks were destined to fly. And even though I knew this was a quickie and I knew it was going to be over one it was just getting good, I still wanted more to the story.

I think this one was my favorite so far. What girl doesn't dream about a famous rock star. As always, Eddie leaves us hot and sweaty after his quickies. Once again Eddie Cleveland ... love all his books I've read so far .. Raine gets reacquainted with someone she went to school with . But things have changed for Seth and being part of the band is just a perk . Things have changed for Raine and when Seth invites her to one of his concert she can't turn him down ... quickie story but still really great

Once again Eddie has shown everyone else how to write a hot, sexy, quickie romance. Of course, he's unbeatable at full length romance too. His books are so fresh and exciting. I just can't get enough of them!

Everyone deserves a second chance and that is what Seth gets with Raine in Rock Hard. Seth had a huge crush on Raine in HS but she wouldn't give him the time of day. Now, he is a famous rock star and he's in town to put on a concert. When Seth shows up, unexpectedly, at Raine's record store she is quite surprised but also happy. Seth is hoping for a real chance with Raine this time. Will she give it to him?

Rock Hard is the 8th book in Eddie's Quickies. What a fun read. I loved this one to the point of wanting it to be made into a full length novel. Raine and Seth are friends from High School, but as adults, years later they rekindle their friendship and more. These quickies are perfect when you only have a little time but need to read something and you need your romantic fix. This is a fun, quick, Steamy, read. You can join Eddie's FB group to help write the next one. This is a great way to learn about and read a new authors work. I look forward to the next one.

A QUICK SIZZLING ROMANTIC READ

Mr. Cleveland never disappoints his readers with his true talent and passion for writing. His eighth quickie read has humor, scenes that leave you breathless, and the romance is smoking hot.

Seth now a rock star, fell in love with Raine in high school. There was no romance then, but Raine's love for music set Seth on a path to music making him famous. His band tour has him performing in his hometown. Seth's plan is to make the woman who stole his heart years ago his.

My first read by this author was a very quick read. It was good but not enough. The premise of the enduring high school crush returns to collect his prize is the idea. Age difference be damned when it comes to Seth, his musical talents were formed because of his crush on his older sisters best friend & now that his band is famous he's come back for a tour finale & to see her. The quick turnaround of the relationship was not surprising but I would've liked the book to go a little more into the relationship. Good read though. I received this free download from the author.

The only reasons I'm giving this 4 instead of 5 stars are the typos I stumbled across and the fact that this story should have been a longer one. There's history. There's chemistry. There are years of story and build up between these two that I would have loved to read.
By the end of the story I was definitely feeling the heat. I just really wanted to read how they got from High School to the point where he walks into her record shop.
