REVIEW: 5 Stars
"My love for you isn't a choice."
Oh, gosh.....where to start?? sigh I love DL's stories. For my first ever cowboy romance read, this entire series has definitely hit the spot. Or set the bar impossibly high. But not only that, their story is a completely different storyline from anything I've ever read and I feel like I am fully vested in this family now! Connected on a literary level. #Stalker. DL Roan is one of the most underrated authors out there. I just want EVERYONE to read her, or this series at the very least. I seriously push it as much as I can, and with the first one being FREE, I cannot imagine any valid reason why you shouldn't already have that book on your kindle. Just my opinion. HA!
Don't swoon too much at that opening quote because I claimed Clay already. MINE. His wink made me blush and go completely weak in the knees!!! My gosh, his accent and his chivalry is unrivaled. He was all man, and it showed. ARGH. I want more of him!!!! Ok, for serious now: Clay and Dani's story is probably my favorite story of the family (aside from the first book). I don't know if I say this every time, but dangit! DL writes all these amazing books and I am just a slave to her stories. I soak them up. I need them to keep going!! Dramatic much? Probably, but I'm serious. She needs to keep writing me stories forever and ever, amen. She is so good at spinning a story. She has this amazing ability to emote with her words, words you can wrap yourself up with.....to the point of actually feeling them. When they're "falling in love", you're feeling that fall as if it were YOU. I just know that I happily get lost in her words.
I have to admit, I paced while reading this one -- I didn't want it to end!! I wasn't ready for it at all. I loved this story so hard and I enjoyed seeing Grey and his craziness in full effect, but he was such a good dad in this one. I may have fallen deeper in love with him (is that possible?). Oh my gosh, we all know I love him and Matt and Mason, they are my book husbands, and to be able to see them going through this book with a whole new understanding that Dani has grown up....my gosh, I loved it SO MUCH!!! This family has been my family for YEARS, and being able to watch them grow and watch them fall in love and feel all their emotions as if they are my family has been so amazing. This is one of my all time favorite family sagas ever. I know I have one more book in this series, but I don't think I am ready to say goodbye. I know I won't be able to. The wait is going to suck. (But.....psssst: I know who she is writing about next, so I can say without a shadow of a doubt that you are going to love it too!!!)
As a blogger, it always worries me that I cannot accurately put into words what an author's book does to me or for me. It always scares me that my reviews can't live up to the words they presented me, and that my words just lacks in comparison. When I say DL's words have passion in them, I truly mean it. I hope you give this very different but very good series a try. It will be worth the hours you spend falling in love with each and every single character in this family.

I was lucky enough to be chosen to review this as an ARC and I know that I will not do it justice. I love this whole series and from book 1 I have been engrossed in the lives and loves of the McLendon family and this one is no different. The whole family make an appearance but I will warn you it is a tearjerker.
Dani and Clay have the most wonderful connection and their physical attraction to each other is evident despite their age gap of 8 years, but lets be honest, that really isn't that much in this day and age. The hardest part for these two is the logistics, with Dani in the north and Clay in the south, but when you find your one true love nothing should get in the way.
Grey is brilliant. His baby-girl is growing up and he is seriously struggling but when push come to shove he does what needs to be done. With Gabby being the glue that binds them all, this family set up is unique in every way. There is a lovely moment where Gabby and Dani have some girl time to watch a film about Vampire Cowboys, wonder where that idea came from?! :-) - be warned though, you will need the tissues ready.
If you have never read any of this series I would highly recommend it but please read it from the beginning - The Heart of Falcon Ridge - or you will miss so much of what makes this family so special.

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
I loved Dani and Clay!
Dani is just the type of heroine that makes me happy: strong, stubborn, hard headed, and determined to do things her way or no way. She's so smart and has plans for her future that she will let nothing stand in the way of.
Clay is just plain amazing. He knows what he wants and goes after it. He sees Dani and is determined to make her his. He is so gentle with her, like he knows he has to step just right around her or she is going to run away for good.
With two such amazing characters you'd thing it would be an easy choice to be together, right? Wrong. Dani's family ranch, that she plans to take over after her college graduation, is in Montana. Clay's family ranch and the business he has built up from scratch is in Texas. How can the two ever find a compromise to be together? Add in bad news brother, jealous women, and familial health problems, and their love story seems hopeless.
But together, Clay and Dani are unstoppable! They just fit together so well that I can imagine them doing amazing things together.
In such an amazing story, you are kept guessing until the very end, and I never imagined who would provide the means for the HEA you know is coming. I loved this story, and it just might be my favorite out of the series!

Oh, the feels this book made me feel!!!
This is Dani and Clay's story and it is beautiful!!! Those of you who know the McClendon family know that this isn't going to be an easy story. The only daughter of, not one but, three overprotective dads. This is a coming of age story, not only for Dani, but for her dads as well. I laughed, I cried, I even wanted to throw things once or twice. But not once did I want to put this book down. I just wanted to keep reading until I couldn't keep my eyes open anymore.
And Clay, OMG!!! What a hunk!!! And so very perfect for Dani, no matter how hard she tries to fight the attraction!!! Just the fella to push her to stretch her wings. To show her, that not everything begins and ends behind the gates of Falcon Ridge.
I cannot recommend this series strongly enough!!! It is absolutely one of my very favorite series!!!

Lord how mercy this amazing woman has done it again. Slam dunked that ball, batted it out of the park, hole in one, any way you say it she's number 1. This phenomenal story continues from (The McLendon Family Saga)
This is book 7 and Forever Falcon Ridge is about the only daughter that the McLendon's have , oh she has brothers but none of them want to take over or have the drive like Dani McLendon has.
This is the story of Dani and Clay, there are some ups and downs, a few twist and turns, an emotional roller-coaster ride but hang on tight it's worth the ride. It wouldn't be D L Roan if it wasn't she is an exceptional writer and I love all her books. From The very first book The Heart of Falcon Ridge. ..I recommend that you read this book and the following 5 of this phenomenal series you won't be disappointed it will be so worth the wait, but if you can't, you cant...
Dani's dad's are beside themselves she is their baby girl and bless Grey's heart he's taking it the worst. He loves his baby girl but he knows she's not his little girl she's a woman now.
Oh my you will need kleenex to wipe your eyes,you'll smile, you'll laugh and even scream and want to throw your Kindle but seriously folks I've been waiting on this book and you won't be disappointed.
We have the whole McLendon family coming and going get to catch up with the brothers, their wives, the grandparents and uncle. D L keeps you up to date I love that about her, she leaves no stone unturned .
The electricity that flows from Dani and Clay is sizzling, the sexual chemistry is off the charts. The lovemaking is burning up the sheets or wherever they are. The age difference doesn't matter they are a couple to be reckoned with , so hot and passionate when they are together.
I absolutely love Clay he's perfect for Dani it's just I wanna hit him on the back of the head and kiss him at the same time.
Dani is emotionally torn between taking over Falcon Ridge which has always been her plans or follow her heart .
Clay and his family have one of the largest spreads in Texas his heart is telling him one thing and his head another. He knows what and who he wants but he doesn't know what's in Dani's heart....oh no I'm not going to say anymore....you just have to read this story that keeps you glued to each page until the last.
I was privileged to be one of the lucky ones to receive this as an ARC for my honest review but I had to one click it on pre-order...
I recommend this book and author highly she is an amazing writer and never disappoints me. You feel all the love and pain, heartache and all the emotions in every book Ms. Roan writes

I love the McLendon family.
I love the McLendon family and this one book you just can't put down. I have been hooked on D.L. Roan books since I read her first book in this series The Heart Of Falcon Ridge and as this family has grown and change it has been great. It best to read in order to be able to keep up with what is going on but can be read as a standalone.
Dani come from a polyandrous (poly) family where she had one mom and three dad's (Gabby, Gray, Matt, and Mason). Her dad's are all brothers and their parents did the same thing. So she has 3 grandpa and one grandma (Hazel, Jake, Joe, Nathan). Then she has grandpa Daniel that makes number 4 that is married to uncle Cade. She has two brothers Con and Car married to one lady Breezy. Then a twin brother Jonah that is married to Chloe and Pryce who all three love each other the same. Then there is her younger brother Cory who is still single. As with any family with daughters it is a little crazy add that many dads ad you get one collage kid that has never been on a date because boys are to scared to walk into that EXEPT ONE....
Clay Sterling took one look at Dani and knew she was the one. He knew he was older so it might just be a little bit harder but even the three dads did not scar him off. What did make him think twice was if the way they live was a religious thing. Due to so many in the family did it. He could not see him self sharing Dani with anyone. He want them to be partners in everything that they did so Clay had to work real so to get Dani to trust him. Being 8 years old Clay know life was not always easy or fair and he had his bumps in the roas he was just hoping that things was starting to look up.

5 hot-as-hell stars!!!

WOW, what a roller coaster I've been on!! The emotion the author squeezes out of you is unreal. My heart takes a pounding every time I enter the world of the McLendon family and this time was no exception, my heart physically hurt.
D.L. Roan has pulled it out of the bag and produced another masterpiece with Forever Falcon Ridge. I always feel like I've come home when I visit Falcon Ridge and, once again, it was mixed with laughter, a lot of it out loud courtesy of Grey, (I love that man) tears, mostly from Grey again, (I really do love him) and hot all-consuming passion (I'll never look at a wind turbine again without thinking of Clay!)
I can't believe I'm actually saying this but I think Grey has finally got a rival for my affection...Clay Sterling. Omigod, he's one sexy-as-hell cowboy who's not afraid to go after what he wants. Dani.
Their romance might have been quick but I loved how passionate, funny and intense they were with each other, and so damned HOT!!! Their chemistry was off the charts.
My heart went out to Grey at one point as he struggled to get his head around the fact there was another man in Dani's life and heart. I could feel his overwhelming sadness as he realised there was nothing he could do to stop his little girl from moving away from him and my heart broke for him.
I really enjoyed meeting Clay's family and hope to see more from them in the future. Virgil, his dad is a hoot, definitely one to watch and I have a feeling my heart will take a battering from Clay's brother Jackson.
Forever Falcon Ridge is an emotional and beautiful coming of age love story that I couldn't put down, I can't recommend it highly enough!!

Love, loved it! I love the series and couldn't wait for Dani and Clay's story. Loved Dani and Clay. They are so perfect for each other. My heart broke them. The logistics seemed so insurmountable. Falcon Ridge is Dani's life. Clay's business and family ranch his.
OMG, Grey!, WOW, I really worried about him. What he did for Dani and Clay was so full of love. I felt for Mason getting blindsided. Matt, aka Grey-lite, loved that. Dani knows her dads. . Matt really stepped up as a voice of reason. Gabby putting everything in perspective.
Heart broken for Daniel and Cade. Grandma and the papa's are as strong as ever. Happy news for Jonah, Chloe, and Pryce. Con, Breezy, and Car's dreams of expanding their family, still hasn't happened. Breezy is struggling with it. She wants to be a mom so bad. I really felt for her.
Loved meeting Clay's family. His dad, Virgil, is an old fashion cowboy. Loved his attempts at playing wingman for Clay. Beau the oldest, like his dad is also an old fashioned cowboy, making a living as a back country hunting guide. Levi, a scientists and college professor. Heading up the stock program on the ranch. The youngest, Jackson. Lives for the rodeo . He has a lot of demons and is on bad terms with his family. Just knowing some of his story, You can't excuse what he has done but have an understanding of the why. Can't wait for their stories!

This book caught me off guard - BIG TIME. I have been a fan of Roan and this series since I first found it a couple years ago and I couldn't wait for this book to be released. To be honest, I thought it was going to be the end of the series, which was bittersweet for me. BUT THEN I find out that it's not the end which is great! I can't wait for the next book.
With saying that -- The story line for this book is completed. It wasn't a cliffhanger or anything like that.
One thing that I was excited to read about in this book is the fact that it is just a MF book. All of the other books (excluding 1 other book) in this series are all different variations of poly relationships. So to see that Roan was writing this as a simple MF it peaked my interest. I wanted to see if Roan would be able to pull it off. And Roan did. Big time.
This book was one that I had been looking forward too. Dani's character was one that was just amazing, and to see her as she came into her own throughout this book was just amazing. Clay's character was one that was really easy to connect with and when the two of them got together it was just amazing.
There was heartbreak in this book -- Grey was especially heartbroke, but in such a good way. All of the fathers had to realize that their baby girl was growing up, but he took it the hardest. I couldn't help but tear up as he was going through everything he was, but he wanted what was best for Dani.
Overall - this book is about love. The love growing between Dani and Clay. The love that the family has for each other, and the love between a father(s) and their daughter.
I couldn't recommend this book enough because it shows that love will conquer all - even when you have to have your heart broken for it to happen.

Mclendon family is at it again and but the strength of this family and the support they show one another is phenomenal!! Love getting to see them all again, they make me laugh, cry and think about my own experiences. Dani is determined to take over the ranch and she is determined to show her dads that she has what it takes. She is feisty and doesn't plan to let any derail her from her goals, but Clay is a temptation she might not be able to ignore, no matter how hard she tries! Clay Sterling respects Dani and her family but his undeniable attraction to the lovely Dani might be his downfall! Will past betrayals ruin the chances of a future with these two? Will Clay and Dani find something more meaningful? I loved the chemistry between these two and the adventures the took! DL Roan has done it again....can't wait to see what is in the future for both the Mclendon family and the Sterlings!!

Forever Falcon Ridge is yet another masterpiece from the creative mind of author D.L. Roan. You will laugh, cry, shout, and want to throttle certain overprotective fathers. The growing love between Dani and Clay makes me want to fall in love all over again (and invest in a windmill farm). I personally felt more attached to Grey than in any of the other books...he has come quite a long way from the Grey McLendon of The Heart of Falcon Ridge.
You can read it as a stand-alone novel, but reading all of the preceding Falcon Ridge books allows you to see the depth and growth of both the characters and the McLendon family dynamic.
If you have not yet read the entire Falcon Ridge series in order, then I highly recommend you do that before reading Forever Falcon Ridge. I am already on pins and needles in anticipation for the next Falcon Ridge book to come out. I would also love to see DL Roan do a prequel and explore the backstory of Hazel and the three brothers to see how their unique way of life started.

Another fabulous McLendon story!
I have loved every book in this series, "The Hardest Goodbye " is still my favorite, but this one came in close second. I loved catching up with the rest of the family and I am dreading the last book at the same time, I am anxiously waiting for it. I can't wait to read how Dani and Clay arrange their lives around Texas and Montana and when Con and Car finally break the baby news to the family. However, knowing that Uncle Cade's days are numbered, just breaks my heart. This is one of the reasons why I love this series so much, because is realistic, is not all flowers and butterflies, is real life problems and heartbreak.

Best book of summer
Omg this book gutted me. I have loved loved loved this series so much. The author is one of my favorites and this series has been wonderful to read and to be a part of. It has been amazing to watch the kids grow up and move on with their own lives. The author makes you feel part of the family and you feel you are with them as they experience what is happening to them. I cannot express just how much i LOVE this series!! D.L. Roan is an amazing writer!
This book took me through a roller coaster of emotions, one minute i'm laughing and the next making a grab for a tissue. I have been waiting and looking forward to finally reading Dani's story and it does not disappoint!
Dani is such an amazing badass, her being the only girl sibling does not phase her, she works twice as hard. The chemistry between her and Clay, despite the age difference, is explosive.
If you have read the series from the start then let me just say...Grey. I absolutely love him and omg he makes me want to hug him and smack him on the side of the head at the same time LOL. Dani being the only daughter, and being the big softie that he is, he has a hard time adjusting to her being an adult woman. You will have to read to find out what i mean and you wont regret it! : )
If you are looking for a new read then i would HIGHLY recommend this series and starting them from the first book!

What a beautiful, compelling love story Dani and Clay have! Dani has finally grown up and has caught the eye of the one man strong enough to stand with her three fathers. This whole series has found a home in my heart, and with each new installment I fall more and more in love with this family. I've laughed many times with them, I've shed many tears with them, and I'm still as enthralled with this family as I was at the beginning of the series. I'll read this series many more times in the years to come.

I couldn't stop crying!
I love this series, love this book more, it just gets better and better! Dani was always going to be a tough nut, rebelling against her over protective alpha dads, not forgetting her brothers, and determined with a sprinkle of stbborn, falling in love with her and for her was going to be an adventure worth following and Clay was as determined and stubborn to take her on.

Dani has always wanted to run the family ranch. Her dad's always want her to be their little girl. She wants to please them but also wishes her family would realize she is not a baby anymore. So much love for this family!
One more volume in the McLendon family saga. Dani and Clay are perfect for each other, and this story fits right in with the others. I'm sad to hear we won't be getting to know the next generation of the McLendon family. I wanted to make this book last, but I've gone and read it all in one day! It's that good!

This book is so good!
I absolutely love this series! But I just know that I am going to cry my eyes out during the final book. I fell in love with this family right from the very start. 💖 I just got so emotionally involved that I had to remind myself it is only a book. That is the sign of a good plot and an amazing author.

I absolutely love the McLendon family. Dani is a spitfire just like her mom and three dads. Clay is so respectful and down to earth. They compliment each other so well. This story will have you laughing, crying and heartbroken. The chemistry between these two is off the charts. This book will pull you in from page one until the very end. I highly recommend this series.

I really really really love this series and can't get enough, While this was Dani and Clay story we do get a very little from 2 other family members, (Which i loved) I read this really quickly and i want and need then next one right now!!!! lol this is a great read and i totally recommend it.

What can I say. I have followed this family from the beginning and can not say enough about this author, she writes with such feeling you can not help but fall in love with all the charactors. This is the book I have been waiting for, Dani and Clay. Any one knowing this family knows that the charactors are coomplex so this had to be hard to write. Dani is the daugther of 3 dads all very different even if they are brothers, so Dani was really as person all her own. Clay was determined and he was determined to win her then tackle her family. This book made me laugh and cry it was sech a fitting book for where this family is at. It has love, sex humor and the family bonds are what make this a great book LOVED it !!!
