I found this book a hard read. Spells and explanations seemed more complicated than necessary, assumptions are made regarding language and practices that the writer states are universal to being a Witch - something that is not true and can be confusing to beginners or seekers along this path, or to those that come from different traditions or lineages. I really wanted to enjoy the book, but these issues made it difficult and there are books out there that share this information in a manner that is more accessible and digestible for the reader.
What I liked most about this book was the review of the tools of fire magic. Also a look at no traditional or unexpected tools and approaches. From non flame approaches to bringing in fire magic to the different tools and strategies this is a great reference when thinking about adding fire magic to your practice or just wanting to expand your ideas/
