I mean...it does its job of describing what qualitative studies set out to do, their designs, codings, etc. But damn... sometimes it could be written less convoluted.
Excellent book on case study research. However, does not address how to effectively generate interviewing questions for sources of evidence to collect.
This book opened my mind towards case study research making it easily understood and relative. The author simplified the process in a way that makes this research methodology accessible to the novice researcher, and a handy reference for the expert.
I recommend this book not only for academic researchers, but also for those who are engaged with case studies such as journalists. It will add a lot of rigor to their field work!
For my DBA this book enhanced my thinking on how to approach my research questions, guiding me from the construct of the question to the final reporting of the findings.
A detailed guide to conducting case study research. I’ve also read the 3rd edition. I felt like this edition wasn’t as concise and had a lot more filler. Still a must read if you are a novice researcher.
A clearly written and instructive volume illustrated with a good measure of cases, which makes is a rather dynamic read - will definitely come back for more inspiration
Excellent book on case study research. It’s written in an engaging way with helpful explanations and examples. I read this book for a class at Liberty University.
