Charley continues her assignment to protect rock star, Ash Wild, as his tour is plagued by more threats and accidents. When Charley starts to show up in the media after several "accidents," Ash's fans begin to believe that he and Charley are more than employer and employee. Ash's team decides that allowing the world to think that Charley is Ash's girlfriend is a good idea. Charley knows as Ash's bodyguard, there can't be a personal relationship with him, but the longer they pretend to have a relationship, the more likely it is to become a reality.
Traitor has lots of twists and turns, especially at the end of the book that make it a very good addition to this series.
I had loved the entire series thus far and this is personally my favorite installment. The amount of action and the twists and turns I thought were great and I didn't want to put it down. I finished it in one sitting and loved every minute. The only reason I give it 4/5 rather than 5/5 is that the writing was a bit cringeworthy at times and some parts were a tiny bit confusing but other than that it was great. The cringe might have been due to the fact that it is a book about teenagers and those interactions are cringe sometimes lol.
Another exciting bodyguard adventure! Through reading the previous books you know something tragic happens to Charley but it still was sad, especially after the harrowing days before. One star off for extensive life/death battles with at least one too many bad guys. I liked seeing more of Charley’s story. Overall a very good read!

It was very good it had a lot of twists and turns and the ending was very crazy,I'm not going to spoil anything but the traitor is not who you would think. And what also happens is that she lost her legs and became paralyzed but who knows maybe she will get then back?
Charley is a bodyguard for Ash Wild as he is touring. I found the plot engaging and the relationship between Ash and Charley fun to follow. I was surprised in the last few chapters, but no spoilers from me.
