"Now that I had her, I had no fucking plans on letting her go."

I've been curious about Renny for awhile now and I'm so happy I finally got to explore that crazy mind of his. Renny is a character that is very unique because of what he observes. He's constantly watching others and figuring out what their motives are, and to read about him doing that was very interesting. Then Jessica Gadziala throws in another character that does the same thing, Mina, and upped the level of awesomeness in this story.

Mina was trained since she was little to always watch people, so, like Renny, she's constantly observing the people around her and trying to determine what makes them tick. Unlike Renny, she uses her ability in order to get the others to stay away from her. Until Renny enters her life and decides he isn't going to let her run from him or the feelings they have for one another.

Mina and Renny had amazing chemistry and their connection was one that kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time reading. I was so invested in their relationship that I refused to put this book down until I found out if Mina was going to put aside her fears to be with Renny or not. Jessica could not have picked a better woman for Mina and I absolutely loved how much they suited each other

As much as I loved their relationship, the overall book started to lose me in places. After the last book where so much crazy shit happened that shocked me to my very core, I think I was expecting another action-packed story like that and this just wasn't it. I kept waiting for the big blow up to happen but it never did so by the end I was left wanting a little more.

Nevertheless, if you haven't read this series yet then you are seriously missing out. These characters will have you feeling like you can kick anyone's ass while also making your heart melt into a puddle of goo.

I am a sucker for this series. I have read it from the beginning and it has me captivated through each and every book. I did enjoy this one, although I wasn't as invested in Renny and MIna's relationship as the others. Don't get me wrong, I didn't not like the book; I just wasn't as enamoured by the main couple. My biggest weakness if I am being honest, is Wolf and Janie! They are my absolute favorited couple in this series and for me they are hard to beat! As soon as they was a chapter dedicated to them in this installment; I wanted more...LOL! I am serious...I was glued to the pages that those two were on, and it has even made me want to re-read their book...LOL So, needless to say; they did steal the show for me; but they only had a little part in this...

Another factor I loved about this particular story was JG bringing in more probies....The Henchmen MC are in dire need of new blood, and we definitely got introduced to some intriguing characters. This has me excited, because it has to mean more books...YAY! For now, I will move on to the newest series of JG's..."The Mallicks." They are mentioned in this book, so I am very eager to see what these brothers will bring to the table!!!

As long as Jessica keeps writing her books...I am going to keep reading them!! So far I haven't been disappointed. They are all full of action, romance, and of course; steaming hot sex!!! (My favorite!!)

Title: ➳ ❤- Renny
Series ➳ The Henchmen MC Series 6#
Author: ➳ Jessica Gadziala
⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
Publication:, January 6, 2017

ღ I hated how Jessica drop that bomb about the “Grassis." & just seem to leave as is… Jessica pick up right where we left off in Duke’s book

💕 it was so sad the tragedy what occurred in last book… someone started a war on the Henchmen in the last book
Now we have Renny & Mina both with the same set skills of reading people. Only different being is Mina didn’t push people the way Renny did… Thank god

➳I was so surprise with Renny’s story.. I am not going to lie, I really wasn’t sure I wanted to read this book.. But again I was draw to Jessica’s book & my curiosity won out… Thank god, cuz we seen another side of Renny..

➳We have been given Lil bits & pieces of Renny Pretty much all was revealed about him
Will Renny still be his usual self? Foul mouthed, flirty, asshat mostly likely
I most loved the fact that the profiler were profiling each other…

➳In my opinion there are still few unanswered questions.. or maybe I say that cuz I just want more from Jessica, but the new characters that were introduced will give Jessica that opportunity .. so I’ll get more of my wish..Trust me when I say I’ll be checking out the next book in this series…. I can’t get enough of this series.
On to the next book Lazarus

📚 Hope you enjoy this read & also always keep in mind this is just my opinion & my honest review 💕

Got to luv a hot biker.

I was a lil curious about Renny he could read people very easily it was what set him apart from the rest of the men. Renny is a great character his personality. He is flirty as a dirty mouth but can be so moody as well but is past has a lot to do with that and my heart went out to him so much.

Mina is a lot like Renny she as the same skills he does so when there together its even stronger. Mina is quite quiet she as been working for Hailstorm for years and as started coming out of her shell over the years. So working at the Henchmen MC took her a lil bit out of her comfort zone but Renny didn't really give her much room for that. There attraction was strong even though Mina fought it but she didn't know Renny and Renny wasn't letting her get away end of story. They both have secrets that they don't want to tell but some times they just have to be told.

I was so so so dyin for this book. After the way the last book in this series ended. I needed to know what would happen. I did get a lil worried in the first half of the book but the second half of the book was just brilliant. It was back to the action that I wanted. The Henchmen MC are full of hard strong men that don't let anything happen to them and after what the MC have been through people needed to pay. The MC was turned upside down and things happened to people that it just shouldn't have. So I was glad that there was some closure on that I think my heart was in my mouth in a few parts. We also got more character thrown in this as well. So I m looking forward to more from them.

This author is just brilliant an as become one of my favorites. Her books r so good. There always full of action really hot men and super sassy woman that would give any man a run for his money. I did find there was some of that action missing. I wanted to know more about who was causing the problems. That being said I still enjoyed it and the last 50% was just what I wanted but I always want more I never want the books to end.

Awww you know when you've read a really good book and it makes you feel all warm and gooey inside? Yeah that was what Renny did for me.
 photo Renny 2.jpg
Jessica Gadziala didn't skimp out on any of the action of the Henchmen brotherhood. Felt that in spades, but its that falling in love and doing your damnedest to fight it. When all your insecurities floats to the surface and you have the pivotal moment of sink or swim.

2 stars,
I clicked 3 because of the side story with Wolf and Jstorm.

I didn't like the male protagonist, ugh, he annoyed the living shit out of me 😖

We have a perfect word in German to describe such person - Klugscheisser.
Nice translation -> smart aleck.
Word to word translation -> smart shiter.

The only positive thing I found about him were his notorious p*ssy eating skills.

And then I had a question: is it possible to suck out female badassness through her clit??? 🤔

4-4.5 "Famished" stars!
It is no secret that I adore Jessica Gadziala and especially this series. This book did NOT disappoint.
We have been given little snip-its of Renny over the other books so his snarky, flirty, foul mouthed personality was no surprise. We knew that he had serious mood swings and learning the why's of his issues left me heartbroken for him. As a mom of boys, I wanted to hold him and tell him that he is worth so much more than he will give himself credit for.
Mina was shockingly so much like Renny that they fit together perfectly. Like the other girls in the club, she had just enough spark and attitude to keep Renny on his toes as well as a heart of gold. She had a wall a mile high and once she allowed herself to fall, she melted into Renny and it was hot and fabulous.

A lot came to head in this book, and we got updates on the other members and their families (including Wolf). The last book left total devastation in its wake so this gives a little closure.

Very rarely do I have any issues with JG's books, they always flow perfectly for me and in the end I am left totally sated, but this time I feel like something was missing. It felt shorter than the other books and some details (I would have liked) were left out. I know this is Renny and Mina's book, but I would have loved to have details about what happened when they visited Little Ricky.
It felt a little rushed at times but I ALWAYS enjoy the way JG writes a bad ass biker falling head over heels in love. I enjoyed the banter between Renny and Mina and I am looking forward to what their future holds.

As always, new players are brought into the game.... I can't decide who I want more, Edison or Laz..... The future definitely continues to look bright and filled with more Henchmen!

Thank you JG for this ARC at the absolute perfect time!

After the heartbreaking devastation and death of their last “war,” when the compound was ambushed, it is time to re-group, re-build and recover. This is a turning point for the Henchmen, one that would make lesser men wither. Wisely, Jessica Gadziala tones it down after the explosive events of the past earning everyone, readers included a breather. RENNY is truly a tale of renewal, for two people who make it their mission to stay just a step away from the world in their own personal space as they profile those around them.

Mina is good at picking up on people, are they being honest? Are they lying? If she has met them, it’s a good bet she has a dossier compiled, be prepared, no surprises, right?

Renny is Mina’s male counterpart. He observes, evaluates and sizes up anyone who comes near. Strange how two people so good at scraping off the shell of everyone else are so unaware of what goes on within their own hearts. Could two people be any more perfect for each other or would they analyze each other to death, losing out on the magic of emotions , sharing and above all, trusting.

Amid their budding romance-not romance (depending on who you ask and when you ask it) the ashes of the previous chaos still smolder and the boys are on the hunt for justice and vengeance, it is either payback time or time to roll over belly up and be eaten alive and that is So. Not. The. Henchman. Way. Being told as part of the background atmosphere was perfect. Ms. Gadziala gave us healing, camaraderie and the love of family and friends. Of course, she also gave us humor, snark, attitude and total badassery, too! I needed this break, it brought these characters to life, made them feel real.

Renny was not a knuckle dragging man of few words. He had intelligence, the ability to communicate, although sometimes he may have been better not doing so! Mina’s background was brutal, but she made something of herself that made her happy, except for that great wall she hid behind. Hot chemistry, real heart to heart emotions and a new day for the Henchman…yep, another fantastic read from Jessica Gadziala where the heroes don't have to be on the right side of the law, but honor is paramount!

Renny was a nice reading!

He was a complicated character and I wanted to read about his story since we first saw him as a probie in "The Henchmen" MC club! I liked that he was so different from his Henchmen brothers...He could read people so well and infuriate them at the same time with his observation skills!

Mina was a match to his crazy ways of observing others and profile them! They read each other so well that it was terrifying sometimes and made them crazy not being able to read one another as well as they wanted! They knew how to be guarded and keep their secrets to themselves!

I enjoyed the book because we got the chance to see the previous characters and of course we learn what happened to Wolf (because let me tell you I got pissed when I finished Duke and had no idea what had happened to him! not a happy camper here!!!) and we got some answers about some serious issues that The Henchmen went through! But in this book there wasn't any action at all!I wanted something to happen and have us in our toes with excitement. But that wasn't in the cards for us, at least not in this book!

Overall an ok reading with some highlights from my precious characters and some new additions, who are coming our way and will keep this series going! I liked the new heroes and can't wait to learn each and one of their delicious stories.

Enjoy! xxx

Short review...nothing to do with book and everything to do with my time. The circuit is kicking back up and travel time is upon me. Those 6 weeks off we're fucking Heaven.

This book rocked. SG Ladies, not a thing here to cause you worry ;)

Why it's not a 5 for me?
- the plot had nothing to do with the H/h so I felt they got a bit shafted. This was really just the end of Janie and Wolf's story which I DNF'd cuz he rarely communicated.
- 7% of the novel is Janie's POV chapter where most of the action happened.
- In fact, the only action in this book all happened off page :/
- They only faced one issue and it was solved in the matter of pages and then, The End. Followed by 3 epilogues 2 weeks/1.5 years/4 years...those were ok, but not enough after the abrupt ending.

Would I recommend it?
HELL, YES!!!!

This was great, don't let my half-assed review tell you otherwise ;)

This was still one of my favorite couples to spill out of Ms. G's imagination.

Fave quote:
"Somewhere along the way, and he blamed Disney for this," she added with a smirk, "and romance novels, we have been convinced that love is pretty and flowery and heart-warming. But it's none of those things. Anyone who has ever been in love, truly, magnificently in love, knows that it is torture. It is ugly and messy and brings out the absolute worst along with the best in you. It hurts because it forces you to confront every aspect of yourself. It forces you out of your comfort zone. And people, well, we love our comfort zones. In fact, we tend to love our comfort zones more than we love our partners. So anyone who comes in and tries to drag us out of them, well, we make sure we push them away so we can jump right back into that comfortable feeling."

I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about Renny. He was the guy who could get under anyone’s skin.

Turned out I grew to like him and Mina was cool. Not sure why I didn’t like this book more. But it’s on to Lazarus now.

I was looking forward to this book, mainly because Gadziala's writing is pretty fucking awesome.

BUT BUT BUT, I was rather disappointed by this novel. It felt like more of an extension to finish up the Long Island mob plot than a book focused on Remy and his lady.

The two main characters didn't have much to do in the book; what was the point of waxing on and on about their behavioral psych profiler stuff if it wasn't going to be portrayed.

Eh, I give this 2 out of 5 stars. Very disappointed, I am.

5 Stars…

Just yes. Oh my God, YES to everything about this story.

description

Synopsis:
1 war.
2 people trying to find love among the wreckage.
5 big surprises.
The fate of an entire beloved organization in the balance.
= one big, sexy, bloody, hell of a ride.

description

What I loved:
I always enjoy the way Ms Gadziala builds her characters' relationships. I love that she takes the time to show us how they fall in love, and doesn't just cram it down our throats like and she was the most amazing, gorgeous, intelligent woman in the world and that's all you need to know, and who gives a shit if I literally just met her yesterday. You can feel and see and watch how these characters could have the spectacular chemistry she gives them.
Quote… I couldn't expect her to spill if I didn't give her something, too. "Quid pro quo, Agent Starling..."
"So in this little scenario, you're a face-eating cannibal?" she asked, brow raised.
"Play along, you pain in the ass."

I also loved how we got to finally. Finally! get an insight into Renny's past. I've wanted that since we first met him and it was so worth the wait. It wasn't built up like some Holy Grail that would unlock all of life's mysteries - he shared it in a very open, generous, trusting way and I thought that was so sweet. Even though he also does some pretty asshole stuff. Of course, because male. Like, literally, when Mina thinks this line, I was so totally on board with her.

Quote… The mother fucker.

Also, ok. The most special shout out to Ms Gadziala for the Wolf & Janie side story.

description

Also (seriously, you might think this review is long enough already, but I'm not done.) Whilst I have been frothing at the mouth for this story since forever ago, I have also been dreading it because Renny is the last member of The Henchmen MC. Like, literally, there are no other members left after him, unless you're going to give us a divorce first and I am so-ho-ho-ho not down with that. So imagine my exuberant and somewhat unreasonably high level of ecstatic-ness when I realise:

What I didn’t love:
Oh. You are out of your everloving mind if you think there is anything I could fault about this story. I was actually really pleased that there was no horrible, violent climax, especially after all that the MC lost in Duke's story. I feel like the club needed resolution and peace, and they got that in a lot of ways through Renny's story. I mean... it wasn't flowers and hearts, but it wasn't slaughter and mayhem either - it was perfect. Loved it like my first born ♥ ♥

Overall…

Renny was another enjoyable read in the Henchmen series. Renny and Mina are great together. I loved how hard Renny pursued Mina, it was so much fun watching her try to ignore him. I was happy to see Wolf and Janie ok again because that situation was breaking my heart. I loved the introduction of the new members but I'm especially looking forward to Edison.

DISCLAIMER TO MY FELLOW GOODREADER
This review is my personal opinion and may contain: spoilers, quotes, rants and swearing.

Mid to late 20 something Mina Piek is a member of the Hailstorm family of badasses. Her skill set focusing on humans. Specially profiling them. Mina prefers to stay in the background away from the chaos. Then everything changed when the Henchmen MC were attacked, losing nearly all their men. She was tasked to help them rebuild. Sniff out any dangers. Mina was not prepared to be read by the Henchmen's resident profiler.

"But affection and comfort aren't love, they were safety. Love was brutal and bloody and, above all, risky. When faced with it, too often we weren't willing to take that risk. We were cowards."

Mid to late 20 something Renny Renolds West has been part of the Henchmen MC for the last few years. He has the ability to deeply profile people and dig into their pasts whether they want him there or not. Renny likes to know everything about everyone, but he keeps his ghosts locked up tight. He has been given the responsibility of using his gifts to neutralize any lingering threats. Only this time he has a partner.

"You and I both know that when this happens, not if, when, it is going to be fucking epic."

This book seemed more like a continuation of Duke, which was different but welcoming change of pace. The focus was more on emotions, feelings, accepting and there was less action. New characters were introduced that I will enjoy reading about in the future. The Janie chapter was just PERFECTION. One sitting read. Love when that happens.

Cliffhanger - no (book #6 of series)
POV - Mina, Renny & Janie

Ok

I hate to say this was not my favorite book. I love this author and love her ruff, it I just couldn't love this installment.

Ronny and Mina just didn't light my fire. Heck they were dare I say boring? There hardly seemed any action and the storyline was just blah. This seemed like a filler story.

RE-READ 11-22-21: So fun to relive the whole falling in love thing that Renny and Mina finally gave in to. Mina was a bit scared and a bit stubborn, but Renny was too irresistible to ignore. Love these characters.

ORIGINAL REVIEW:
I knew I was going to love Renny and Jessica did not disappoint with this sixth Henchmen MC book.

Renny is the thinker, the profiler of the MC, so it could not have been more perfect that the lady he falls for is a profiler like him. Mina has her secrets too. Both Renny and Mina are quick to judge others and figure out what makes them tick. This ability makes them important to the club/team and their opinions are always helpful and needed. However it has also taught them how to hide their own emotions and shield themselves from opening up to others. But Renny doesn't want Mina to hide from him. He realizes the minute he sets eyes on her that she's worth him pushing for more. He teases and he flirts and he continues to wear her down. It's obvious the attraction between them is smoking and everyone around them sees it. However Mina stubbornly tries to fight it. She's spent too many years staying distant and protecting herself. Although if she's being honest, Renny just might be worth breaking her rules for.

I loved getting to see all the other characters from earlier books in this series as well as other series by this author. I enjoy how they're all just woven in together like a big ol' family of friends. I also enjoyed that Janie got a little spotlight since she and Wolf are a couple of my favorites characters. There are some new faces that we get introduced to that I think will really add to the storyline and I can't wait to get their individual stories. And although a major threat is partially taken care of, you know there will always be another one waiting to cause problems.

JG never disappoints. Her books always hook me from the very first page until the very end. She's an automatic purchase for me and I can't wait to see what else is in store for us in this new year.

Loved!

I love the whole Henchmen series! Jessica writes some great books. I was always so curious about renny from previous books. This book finally gets into how renny is. Mina is a softer girl character compared to the rest of the girls it seems like. Her and renny seem to match a great match.

5 Henchmen Stars

First can I just say this cover!!! Hotness!

This book was brilliant we finally get to hear the conclusion to the big war that had killed off so many in the last book in the Henchmen series. This was a little different to the other books in this series, it had less action and was more about the love story and I for one was ok with that!

Renny and Mina are asked to pair up by Reign and Lo to use their skill of reading people to help them figure out who they can trust. Reign is full force trying to get the Henchmen back up and running. He feels the only he is comfortable with this is with the help of Mina. Although Mina wants nothing to do with Renny, she has no choice and has to go along with what Lo wants.

I don't really want to say anymore, but a lot comes to head in this book. Not only do we hear from other members of the henchmen, Which I loved! We meet a lot of new hot characters that I really can't wait to read about. With each Henchmen book I get more hooked, Jessica cant just not do any wrong with this series and with each book its gets better and better! Bring on the next one...

5 mother effin stars for the wrath of Janie!. We were left hanging with some major cliffies from the last book - the fate of a beloved character and who had started a war with the Henchmen. We find out all the answers to those plus have the added bonus of getting the complicated love story of Renny and Mina along with getting introduced to the new prospects. There was so much going on in this book I could hardly put it down and yet I didnt want it end.

I'm in a happy fog after finishing this book. I love these characters and could live in the world of Navesink Bank forever.

Wow! I'm basically speechless so again wow!!

I swear each book just keeps getting better and I love watching the MC continue to grow. I'd have to say my fav has always been Wolf and Janie but Renny and Mina have given them a run for their money. This book gave me all the answers I needed from Dukes book and more.

Renny which we've all seen in other books loved to push button's it's his thing but overall he's a great guy. Mina is very similar to Renny in that she can read people and know what makes them tick. These 2 together is explosive whether that's good or bad depends on the moment. This story is a rollercoaster of emotion and was better then I ever expected. Way to go Jessica!!! Also we get a nice little look into my fav couple so that right there pushed the book into 10 stars for me. I can't wait until we can see who is next to get a book from our Henchman!!

Why do I do this to myself?? This is so boring, the henchmen heroines are mostly gi janes out to conquer the world. The conflict is so distracting to the romance. I’m ok with badass heroines but sometimes, it’s too much. I need to stop reading this series.

I admit that I actually put off reading Renny due to the week-long book hangover I suffered from Duke. Eventually my curiosity won out and I'm so glad it did!

There are still some unanswered questions, but the new characters that were introduced really make up for it. I think they will provide very entertaining stories and I can't wait to see what happens next.

After the events in Duke we were all a bit bewildered (and maybe a little upset) but Jessica asked us (the fans) to trust her, so we did. While what happened is still terrible, I think the new blood has just the right kick to keep the series going for good while longer.

Renny and Mina are a fantastic couple! There were times when Mina had me rolling my eyes, but all-in-all another strong heroine for us to look up to. Renny is hilarious! His cheesy-on-purpose flirting had me smiling like a loon most of the time (and maybe wishing my spouse would pick up some of those observation skills).

Now I can't wait for the puppies!

I was lucky enough to win an ARC of Renny and I was so excited to start his story. I'm not going to get to into the story because I don't want to ruin even the smallest of surprises but I will say that this book gives you the answers to the questions you were probably asking when you finished Duke. I absolutely loved Renny and Mina together. I don't know if it was because they had such a deep connection and could read each other so well or if its just the fact that Renny never gave up chasing Mina because he knew she just had her gaurd up and he just needed to work hard to break it down. I will say that at the beginning of Dukes book I did not like Renny one bit!! But he definitely redeems himself and makes you fall in love with him in this book. I can't wait for more Henchmen!!

one last thing.... I ❤ JStorm!! She's one badass bitch!
