This book is one of four new books based on Cash's Textbook series. These books cover the physiotherapy techniques used in neurological, orthopaedic, rheumatological, and cardiovascular/respiratory rehabilitation. They will be published as four separatevolumes. Students will buy all four and qualified physiotherapists and teachers will buy in their area of interest.
Originally published as a small, black & white, insignificant looking text in 1986, Neurological Physiotherapy has been completely updated and now features a new larger format, 2-colour throughout and over 140 fantastic illustrations. Four sections cover Basic Concepts in Neurology, Neurological and Neuromuscular Conditions, Lifetime Disorders of Childhood Onset and Treatment Approaches to Neurological Rehabilitation . The contents have been updated to bring the book totally up to date with current practice. A key feature of this well written new book is the totally new section on treatment approaches to Neurological Rehabilitation. Seven chapters cover the range of treatment approaches from their theoretical basis, through management, to neurological rehabilitation.
