Decided on this little story to fill the time (and the reading count) while waiting for the bookstore to deliver "Native Son" by Richard Wright. It was a mistake. Immediately after reading the last line of the story by T.D. Hamm I made a sick face and just said "F*ck! How unnecessary." One star for dislike and to warn others. It's enticingly short, free to read on Gutenberg, and not worth the time or consideration it takes up.
