Just a little caveat before I begin my review, see that graphic above that states "ARC GENEROUSLY PROVIDED IN EXCHANGE FOR AN HONEST REVIEW"? I take that VERY seriously. If I don't like a book I am not going to LIE because I was given a 3 dollar book for free. I would hope that the author would understand when you put your work out there that not EVERYONE is going to like it.

I am simply ONE person with an opinion and that is mine to express. Messaging me (just to be clear it wasn't the author who messaged me) to tell me I clearly have NO clue what good writing is, doesn't reflect well on YOU nor the AUTHOR, so cut it out...OK off my soapbox now...

I honestly don't even know how to begin with this review. I was SO excited to read this one, but NOTHING, not ONE single thing worked for me with this book.

description

The insta-love didn't work for me AT ALL.. Literally, ten pages in and their relationship was a done deal. I get this was one of those "insta" books, but a LITTLE bit of relationship build-up would have been nice. The dialogue was CHEESY. Kayla was ridiculous. I guess she was supposed to come across badass, but she just came across like a bad b-movie character. These bikers had to the pussiest group of bikers I have ever run across.

There were also a plethora of OTT ridiculous situations in this book. The book was basically sex scenes and stupid OTT baddie situations. And that ending...well that was a GIANT ridiculous cherry that topped this hot mess for me.

Unfortunately, this was just a HUGE miss. I did finish it, so I am giving myself a pat on the back for that...

First and foremost I have to say this cover… WOW!!!! It’s one of my favorite covers this year, honestly! I already wanted to read Torch as soon as it was announced, but add this cover to the mix and I SO wanted to meet Torch! Total Cover Lust!!!! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

The giddy excitement to read this couple’s story was more than justified, IMHO, because, considering how picky I am with this genre, I enjoyed the hell out of this ride!

Torch emerges in Kayla’s life exactly when she needed a savior the most, and like a true knight in shining armor – though more of a dark knight -, he rescues her, but like the good bad-ass, alpha biker that he is, he never again let’s her go. Even more surprisingly, she soon finds out she also doesn’t want him to let go.

For the first time in my life, I am deciding to trust a stranger, and blindly at that. I am taking a leap of faith, and that’s something I never ever do. I fear the unknown.

Torch was an amazing character. Sure he has a rough and hard persona that fits perfectly with his MC lifestyle, and even cold and cruel when required, but with Kayla and his daughter he couldn’t be more surprisingly sweet and caring. This is a side he reserve for, and only for, the one women he loves. To the rest of the world he is the biker with the tattoos and rough attitude to match.

“What’s that look for?”
“You have full sleeves?” she asks and puts her hair up in a bun thing on top of her head.
“Yeah.”
Her head shoots in my direction. “Oh. My. God. I am dating a freaking bad boy and didn’t even know it!” She fans herself dramatically.
“You’re such a little shit.” I laugh at her dramatics.
“I’m your little shit, though.”

Of course, not just any biker, but a OTT obsessed and protective alpha at its best, and Kayla was on the receiving end of his obsession and protectiveness. From the moment they met she brought it out in him, and it never stopped. I love a good protective alpha – and Kayla really needed a champion -, but one of the things I loved the most, not only about Torch, but about this couple in general was their contrast: his strength to her fragility, his bossiness to her sassiness, and of course, his rough and hard exterior compared to her softness, but the clash I adored the most was the love and care with which he treated her from the very start, by she was made of glass, and the most precious thing in the world… That had me swooning…

“You never get on your knees for anyone,” he growls and presses his mouth to mine. “You are to be worshiped,”—his lips trail down to my throat then down to my breasts—“cherished”—his lips trail down to my belly button—“You are my Queen and will be treated as such.”

Like a good insta-love/lust trope – and you guys know how much I love those, LOL – the feelings and the relationship develop at warp speed, and I truly felt their attraction and appeal to one another from the very beginning.

I didn’t think I could love anyone like this, but I love her with everything in me.

Kayla will be the only person who sees my vulnerable side. The only one I will be with like this. She may have not been my first, but she sure as fuck will be my last.

I’m sure you know the expression “the bigger they are, the harder they fall”, let me tell you that fits Torch to a T, because for someone who never thought he would find his soul mate, it only took him um look, one touch, to fall and fall HARD for Kayla!

“I can’t stand the thought of losing you, Torch. You are my world,” she whispers to me. It strikes me right in the heart. She means everything to me, too.

I feel such raw love for him that it’s almost unreal and so powerful. I love him with every bit of my being.

However, don’t be mistaken, because he wasn’t alone on this ride! Kayla fell just as hard and fast as he did! But with how cherished and cared for, as she was by him, how could she not?! He became everything to her, as she did to him…

Meeting him was one of the worst and best days of my life.
That was the day he changed my life forever. The day I finally felt, lived, and loved. He became my rock, my world.
He made me see that it was okay to be afraid and that I shouldn’t fear, because he would always be there to catch me.

LeAnn Ashers also gave us a look into their MC world, and thought the side plots, alerted to a very sad reality on human traffic, sexual slavery, and abuse, which this group, The Devils Souls MC tried to fight and annihilate as best as they could, by any means necessary, even if it meant crossing to the other side of the law in the most unorthodoy of ways. They may be rough, hard and scary, but for and to the ones they loved, and specially to protect them they would do anything. I loved how all of them treated their woman like gold, never breaking their alphaness to the rest of the world.

“Hang on for the ride, girl, because that man will make you the happiest woman imaginable. They may look gruff, but for us, they are softies. They won’t ever admit that, though,”

Ms. Ashers really gave me the type of MC Romance that ticks all my boxes! Insta-love, OTT obsessed alpha, minor to none club-whore and other woman problems, faithful and devoted hero, and good context and development: we had it all in TORCH! The fast paced and thrill filled plot just spiced it up even more! And after all those teasing snippets of these secondary characters, I can’t wait for the stories from the rest of the gang! So many interesting characters! I can’t wait!!! <3 <3 <3 <3

My husband.
The man who made me feel.
The man who showed me what love is.
The man who gave me everything I never knew I wanted and needed.
The man who I never saw but loved with everything in me.
This man who is my everything, my heart, and the other part of my soul.

“The most beautiful thing about you is your heart. The light that comes off of you makes my cold heart not so cold. You are the kindest person I have ever met and the most loving.”

Beware of Spoilers!

Star Ratings:
Heroine (Kayla): 30yrs old
Hero (Torch): 37yrs old
Plot: 3/5
Grovel: none
Cheating: none
HEA: yes with a perfect epilogue
Triggers: none

Average score: 4/5

Best Line: “He must not like being told no. I shall do that more often.” And “Every girl needs a Taser. You never know when you need to fry a dick or two.”

Worst Line: “I have a hard time trusting and letting people in.” – I would believe this more if she didn’t spend a night at a strangers home immediately after almost being kidnapped

Personal Review:
This romance grew on me. It had a rocky start with the heroine being too naïve for her own good but it was packed with drama (yes, some of which was farfetched) and the ending was perfect

Random Ramblings
•I was excited about starting this romance because it involved a heroine who has a disability
•Hahaha, she thought she would get kidnapped but she didn’t realise that after she was rescued she was kidnapped by the hero…so stupid

•I was so not expecting him to have a 19yr old daughter but good on him for raising her on his own
•This was so insta I got whiplash!
•Yay a heroine in her 30s!!
•I do love a protective hero…as long as he realises what he is protective over and doesn’t try to domineer or control
•Awww…he treated her like his queen
•Tiffany had me in tears
•So much drama!!
•I don’t like love triangles so I probably won’t read Morgan’s story
•I don’t think we ever found out Torch’s real name

Overall Feeling:

A cheesy but sweet romance

This had romance, bikers. OTT alpha men what more could you want!! I loved torch and kayla together their chemistry was off the charts. Kayla is not one to mess around with she is not shy about sticking up for herself (I liked that). Torch was protective of her and was very alpha male! The side character's were amazing all of them were such a big part of the story and I liked how the Ole' lady's were not rude or catty to one another that is always a plus. Also, there were some seriously funny moments in this book especially with Kayla and her Taser OMG(hilarious)!!! I have read this book twice since it came out! Leann Asher's is one of my favorite authors ever:) I am super excited for Ryan's book Mia and him were so cute. But Techy is next in the series:)

This book had a lot of potential and I was initially excited to read it. But unfortunately it didn't work out for me and in the end the book was just way too over the top for my liking. There was almost no real plot to the book and instead it had one dramatic moment after the next, some sex scenes thrown in between all of that, and that was it. It became annoying with how often there was a random kidnapping attempt, shooting, or assault that would pop up out of nowhere and then without one page was resolved by Torch going all Alpha-dude. Enter sex scene and then we're back to another over the top scene. It was just too much and got to be boring since no scene was actually long enough to be interesting.

Like I said, this book had a lot of potential and I think it would have been really amazing to read if the relationship between Kayla and Torch was fleshed out a little more and not interrupted with all of the problems. Their characters had next to no development but with their backgrounds I think they could have been really interesting to get to know.

So needless to say I was very excited for this book. I mean the description promised me a possessive alpha male and I have a good track record with this author so far. So obviously I was all over this...

But then I read it and it just felt very meh. I found myself skimming and although Torch was possessive and 'said' all the right things I just didn't feel it. I usually get a tingly goodness, but nothing. His words and actions held no conviction to me!!!

Anyways I'm hoping I like Techy's book better but from reading the preview at the end of this book I'm anticipating a similar response already. Dammit!!

I'm completely blown away on how bad LeAnn Asher's books continue to be... I feel for most erotic/smut authors that write about insta love and all the insta whatever you can think of, they understand one of their winning formula is the book has to be short. Listen there's only so many chapters you can sell an OTT Story after a while it starts looking like a really really bad telemundo series and they're generally bad. I don't know if LeAnn Ashers was going for a full length novel (it's got 26 chapters and a gazzilion epilogues) but if she was, she really missed the mark. This book sucked.
And this need LeAnn Ashers has, this unbelievable need to have a bad guy at every turn no matter how absolutely unecessary it is to the story line is becoming tiring.

This author needs to step up her game, just writing sex scences and making the men "claim" the women really isn't enough to make you that good. Step it up!!!!!!

Kayla and Torch meet when she is almost kidnapped by 3 guys while attempting to go to a store. Kayla is blind and was terrified. Torch steps in and protects her, decides to take her home with him and basically kidnaps her himself. Kayla had a rough childhood and terrible parents. Torch raised his 19-year-old daughter on his own and has been feeling the empty nest syndrome. Kayla just basically goes with the flow of staying with Torch and a relationship blossoms. Kayla claimed to be terrified and sheltered one minute and then saying that she wasn't going to take any nastiness directed at her by anyone. She was immature, lacked self-confidence at times and just got on my nerves at other times in the book. How could she know someone was smirking at her if she was blind? How could she know she was smirking at someone if she couldn't be sure she was even looking at them? The book had grammatical errors, some plot inconsistencies and was over-the-top in trying to portray that Kayla was in danger of being sold to a sex trafficking gang. It was just too over-the-top when it was suggested that her parents were suddenly back in her life trying to use her, on top of random people in the book trying to do sexual things to her. Torch was sweet in insisting on taking care of her, but it was never addressed as to how she got her things, what she did for clothing, etc. One minute she had an apartment and a small bag with her, the next she is living with Torch and has no issues with having clothes, etc. I didn't buy her whole being an author even though she was blind. She would need to know the right words were written and not the wrong ones. There were too many instances where a description in her head was given where she would have needed to have sight to make it real. Sorry - this work didn't really work for me at times.

This came off as a comedy and I'm sure it wasn't supposed to be one.

Heroine is blind, almost gets kidnapped by human traffickers, gets saved by the hero. Who then takes her home to pick up some things (she needs her laptop because she's a romance author) and then takes her to his place (because the gang who tried to kidnap her could be back to take her. Not that they knew who she was or where she lived but why ask the obvious questions, right?)

Within 24 hours, they're having sexytimes and oh no! Condom breaks but hero tells her if she's pregnant, she's pregnant because she's his ole lady. *insert eye roll here*

Then comes the pure silliness. Waitress is rude to her in front of the MC but heroine throws her drink at her, calls her a bitch and tells her to go get her food. Waitress is fired because the MC owns the place. Of course they do. Then he introduces her to the club and one of the "hanger-ons" who wants to be an ole lady, calls her a name and again, heroine flips her off and Torch gets rid of the lady. Then there's the OB-GYN doctor they go to see and she notices, while the hero is in the room, that the doctor took his gloves off in the middle of the exam and was almost going to touch her without gloves on so she calls him out on it. Hero punches doctor in the face for daring to try that with his ole lady.

Like I said, a bad comedy that wasn't a comedy because I guess the heroine was supposed to come off as a badass since she was blind and the hero was supposed to come off as a tough MC dude. Neither worked for me so a big ole DNF for this.

Thoughts - on Series

Let's start off by saying that this was a brand new author for us and are we throughly enjoy this MC box set was each and every club members story was a blast. One thing we loved most about the series is that we loved all the characters as well as the women that they made their old ladies.

Out of all the stories Torch and Techy's stories were my favorites and I definitely developed a bit of a soft spot for both of them and in my opinion were definitely swoon worthy. One thing I loved about all these MC members how protective they were of their women as it was hot as hell and sure made me want to have one of them for my own ! lol It amazed me how all of them new for the onset of meeting their women that they were the one for them and took what the wanted right then and there. They had claimed their women from the onset of meeting them but, what I loved most is how each and every one of them courted their women as it was really sweet and endearing and boy did they spoil them lol. I will also say that I was in awe of these men as It was evident from the onset of the story how dangerous and violent these men could be but, when I came to their women in their presence they were all little lambs. All these men it was like they had two different personalties at any given time as the could be sweet and kind and caring as well as possessive and protective but, the minute their women or brothers or their families were threatened a switch was flipped and they all became lethal deadly killing machines.

Torch and Kayla what a whirlwind romance as Torch saved Kayla from being a victim of a women trafficking ring and from the minute they met is protective instincts took over and he was a goner.Kayla impressed me with her independence and the life she lived and never let her blindness get the best of her.I loved how regardless of her blindness she new for the onset of meeting Torch that he would be someone who she could trust. Omg ! did this couple have chemistry! I loved them together they were so sexy together and clearly perfect for one another.I loved Kayla she was one tough cookie and I have to say I loved the set down she gave a prospect who insulted her she had me laughing out loud when she took care of business.I loved Torch's possessiveness, his protective instincts and how he raised his daughter all on his own and did a damn good job of it.We also loved all those dark bits of him he is someone you definitely one someone in your corner.

Techy and Alisha were another favorite couple of ours. Techy made me hot !He surprised me the most as he was totally a alpha and I never really expected that of him.I loved his protective instincts of Alisha and the lengths he went to keep her safe.Omg !Techy was one totally sexy hot alpha that made a girls panties wet! We enjoyed the romance between Alisha and Techy as it was a sweet courtship but, once he claimed her fully we saw a whole other side of his alpha-ness but, most of all he an Alisha were perfect for another and made the cutest couple."We loved them !"

Butcher & Shaylin

Butcher was definitely a character that was full of layers as well as being very dark, dangerous and he carried this sadness and heartache around constantly with him and our heart broke for the pain he carried around within him all the time. Shaylin was a character that was a lot of fun as she was one of those little bad-asses. I loved the little MC princess who seemed deal with intense situations cool and calmly and never flinched and is someone you want in your corner when crap is going down around you.We loved how confident she always seem to be and yet surprised us in the next breath with owning a bakery and baking being her passion as it seemed so out of character for her.Did I mention she was a club Princess of another club and had a over protective father (Smiley) and brother (Lane) and a whole slew of uncles who were over protective of her and then comes along the Butcher from the Devil Souls who is dark and dangerous and claims her from the moment he set eyes on her.Can you say shit hit the fan ! lol Omg ! Did we love how Butcher finally claimed Shaylin as it was priceless! We loved their ending as it was perfect and we loved seeing Butcher for the first time in which seemed like forever happy.

Liam and Paisley

Poor Paisley has been the one women who has been getting targeted the most due to
the fact that she is the Club Princess of the Devil Souls and also the fact that her father Torch is their VP is not helping matters it just makes the target bigger.Liam and Paisley have been in love with each other since High School but, after years apart he is back to claim his women. This story was full of tons of drama due to the fact the the clubs enemies have been targeting the old ladies so as you can imagine the war became more deadly and the club is out to eliminate their enemies and their out for blood.

Liam was yet another alpha in the mix of things. We love his cockiness his swag and good looks. We loved his possessiveness and how protective he was of Paisley but, one thing for sure is Paisley is no wilting flower.Liam his some brass balls for sure taking on Torch Paisley's father when it comes to claiming his baby girl.We have to say there were some
really funny standoffs between the two throughout the story that made us laugh out loud more than once.

Paisley and Liam made the perfect couple they were so sweet together. This couple had major chemistry and were clearly deeply in love with one another.I loved Paisley's sense of humor and outgoing personality. One of the things we loved about Liam as well as
the other members is how when they are in public with their women they make sure the men around them know for sure their women are claimed by them which
made for some memorable moments throughout the story time and time again. lol

We loved the conclusion to this on going series as this last story was filled with so much drama had tons of sub plots and the story had you on edge even more wondering if they all were going to come out un scathed from this war.I have to give a shout out to the old ladies of this club as they made us laugh out loud time and time again not only that we loved how they
had each others back and even proved it once or twice which lead to some really hilarious moments.

For us this was a awesome series as all the character's were all so love-able that you could not help but form and connection with them.We loved that these dark and dangerous men found their perfect mates and although the road to their happily ever after was fraught with twists and turns and danger we loved falling in love with these character's along the way and we really enjoyed being on their adventures to get their.he entire series

A love story…biker style! Torch comes to a beautiful woman’s rescue when three men grab her and try to kidnap her to sell her. Torch had no idea at the time that Kayla was blind not that it mattered in the least. Kayla had a terrible childhood and had come out on the other side being a very caring and loving woman. She just didn’t have anyone in her life to deserve what she had to offer; that is until Torch came into her life.
The impassioned story that ensues is one that will have you loving every minute of this steamy biker romance. The chemistry between Torch and Kayla is beyond hot but even better is the commitment that they have formed from something that started out terrifyingly for Kayla. Torch is a story that will leave you hot for this biker too!
This was gifted to me for an honest review.

Ummm I am kinda shocked with this book. I have read two books by this author before this and one is even highly rated by me, so I know for a fact she can write. So this book was surprising because it felt like a step back in terms of writing.

Even the story was disappointing. It was one of those 'let's throw everything bad at the couple and hope it makes it interesting'. There's only so many kidnappings and assaults I can take in one book. And then the h was blind but I honestly sometimes even forgot she was because it didn't affect anything. She would just "know" what someone else was doing by hearing their movements. We knew people were looking at her cause she always "felt" the eyes on her. The H basically carried her everywhere as well.

The H/h also moved at the speed of light in their relationship. The H saves the h from a kidnapping and ends up taking her home with him and she protests very lightly. It was all crazy. I don't even mind insta-love but come on! Let's make it a little more believable at least.

Overall, I was pretty excited for this but was left disappointed. Hopefully the next book improves and brings back what I loved about Loving His Forever by this author.

DNF @ 28%.

I think this author has potential. That said...

I stopped reading because: everything was "surface" level, no real in depth character or story development, the writing could have been better, too much going on in a small time frame to be half way believable.

Torch and Kayla's story was kinda sweet and over-the-top... I enjoyed the first few chapters of the book but then I somewhat lost my interest... Additionally, I still find the numerous epilogues too much...

This is a new to me author so i wasn't sure what to expect.

It's the start of a new MC series and this kicks off with Torch the Vice President of the club.

Kayla is all on her own. She's blind and feels very alone on the world. Not having had good parents she spent most of her life with her grandparents. When they died she found herself all alone. One day she goes to visit a store but the Taxi she was in drives off with her cane. She decides to try and find the store she needs but her hopes fade when she hears men laughing at her. They try to take her realizing that she can't see them. Torch comes to her rescue. His protective instincts kick in and he decides there and then that she would be his. The story goes from here.

I'm torn as to what to rate this book. I'll start off saying i did like it. The characters are very likeable. Kayla is strong and fun and you are instantly drawn to her. Torch is hot and a bit of a caveman. He's a badass biker with a heart of gold. I also liked all the supporting cast. His MC brothers have me wanting to know their stories and so do the ole ladies. The story itself was easy to read, fun and sexy in parts.

Now onto the bit that gives me pause in my rating. I'm all for insta love. I read them quite often so that's not what bothered me. What has made me pause is that there are some quite serious issues in here. That's fine, but like the relationship this also seems rushed. Almost brushed over. There are kidnappings and people traffickers and almost rapes, sexual abuse, physical abuse, child abuse hell there's lots! Again that's fine but i just feel there should have been more depth in this part. Maybe just a couple of these things should have happened so they could have been gone into more. Something happens then a little scene or a cry then everything's fine again. It just felt maybe a little shallow when it could have been so much more. Especially being an MC book you can go pretty dark with those but it was just kind of an afterthought.

Everything was there for a great book but i think it just missed the mark. I'm not sure how many books this author has out. Maybe she's new and in the following books her writing will mature as she becomes more experienced. I hope so because there's a lot of potential there.

I would recommend this book it's a light easy read that is enjoyable, it just lacks that depth to make it great.

This book had some good points, and overall I'm actually glad I read it. But, I feel like it had some of the poorest research possible. Either there were no blind people consulted at all, or the ones who were consulted had no independence skills. But, beyond that, the way she regains her sight at the end is completely unrealistic. If you've never had vision, there's no way you can just open your eyes and see, and know how to interpret the images that you're seeing. You're not going to be able to look into the face of your husband and know that he's a hunk because your brain has no visual references to build on. Completely unrealistic. And, at the beginning of the book, it was dedicated to all those with disabilities. So why then, does she get this miracle cure that suddenly takes away her disability? Why not embrace it and live with it? It just kept saying things like, "this is so difficult because I can't see." "I can't see." Okay, we get it. Why do we have to keep being reminded again and again? Live life. Do what you can, and stop harping on the shortcomings.

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of Torch.

I always like an MC book, but end up hating then due to the fact of how unsafe most of them are. Torch is 100% safe!! And I love that!!

Torch is sweet as sugar yet has the epic badassness every MC book needs!!

All the characters are unique and memorable! I can't wait to read all of their stories!

This book was also funny! And I mean literally LOL funny!!!! But I'm not surprised with that, all of Asher's books are hilarious!

The ending also surprised me ( in a good way!!) I honestly did not see it coming.

I want to say so much about this book, but I also don't want to give stuff away!

Read this book!! It's amazing!!
Asher's is also a huge tease!! So many more books to come!! I can't wait!!

Now i find MC bikers books hard to find when they always show manwhores and assholes.. now i don't mind alittle asshole.. so this was a good read!! And a decent length!! Scoree one!! Also our Heroine is blind..

Kayla is minding her own business as a crappy cab driver drops her off somewhere leaving her more blind without her stick, she is followed and almost kidnapped by 3 guys but is saved by Torch the VP of Devils souls MC, he's already smitten and wants to protect her even more since the guys he stop are another gang and human trafficking woman so he takes her to his place to make sure she's safe and sound. Torch is a great alpha male and a good boyfriend i loved him from the first second yes it was super fast and super instalove but it was worth it. Even if she's blind loooorddd Kayla is a badass.... she handled a waitress rudeness really good made sure just because she's blind she can still handle shit. I loved it!! She took no shit and called out anyone who was rude to her!!

I gotta admit there was alot of drama from a creepy ass doctor who wanted to touch her, other rival gangs, and her crappy ass parents, some parts were alittle boring.. but it was a good story.

Little angst, Slight om drama (creepy doctor) no ow drama, no cheating, secondary charas, sexy times, Drama, no virgins

Recommend- maybe

I received an ARC of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you LeeAn Archer!

Did I like this book? Yes. Did I love it? No. This breaks my heart because I really wanted to love it. Here are the reasons why I didn't.

Firstly, Kayla fell in love with Torch way to fast for my liking. I understand that he saved her and all, but he could've easily been another abductee playing the hero to get to her. I feel like she is the type of person who had no faith in humanity and assumed the worst of people. Therefore, that didn't sit right with me.

Another aspect is the speed at which important events pass. I will not name them for the sake of not spoiling the book, but most of those life and death situations lasted maybe a page tops? Whereas the sex scenes, which were great, lasted multiple pages. That lack of balance was throwing me off.

Kayla was also completely unfazed by what Torch was doing. I get that she understood why he was doing it, but I feel like the book should've touched a little bit about her possibly being uncomfortable with the sort of things Torch was inflicting upon others.

Now, enough negativity, here's what I liked about the book! It was original. I had never read a romance book about a blind girl before and I believe that for the sake of diversity, this book was needed.

I also enjoyed the topics the book touches upon; rape, child abuse, and young girl trafficking. Human trafficking is not something you hear about a lot on the news. I cannot even recall a time I did. I believe that it is important to do as much as we can to end this horrible practice - and that goes for all the disheartening topics present in this book.

So to wrap up, love the principles of this book, but wasn't a fan of the writing distribution!

I really wanted to like this book, like really! The Blurb sounded so good! But I was disappointed. I felt like for the length of the book, Torch and Kayla could have had more time to get to know each other before the insta hit.

I mean they just met and it seemed they had a relationship that some people take years to have. They never argued, I mean really not one argument!

I liked Torch and I liked how he is this over protective badass with a soft heart who raised his daughter all on his own. I just wished that there was more drama and badass biker moments.

Some of the topics I felt were a bit glossed over, like the kidnappings, people trafficking and child abuse.

I just have to say I did enjoy the story, the characters were likeable, I just wanted more drama, and maybe a bit more BADASS Bikers...

When Torch sees a woman in the midst of being kidnapped, he steps in. Realizing she is blind only peaks his interest more, she is stunning. Protecting her is a necessity and the more he gets to know Kayla, the more he wants to see where they will lead.

What a great kick off to the series. I liked Kayla, she is feisty and perfectly matched with Torch. Checking out the rest in series.
