Roxy Shea is finally happy, she has great friends and loves her life in Bayford. The fact that she's just about out of money with no idea what to do is putting a slight damper on it. Roxy is an artist who's hiding out in Bayford, her ex was rich, connected and abusive but with the change in hair, eye colour and surgery she figures she'll be okay.
Despite having sworn off men she finds herself overwhelming attracted to Nick Faulkner and Hunter Valens.
Nick and Hunter were like brothers until Hunter up and disappeared for three years and now without warning he's back but can things ever go back to the way they were before especially considering they are both incredibly attracted to Roxy.
This is a quick easy hot read, the characters are all likeable and while it goes as expected it's nice getting there.

Roxy is on the run from an abusive ex that lands her at Bayfront where she meets the Nck and a Hunter. Billionaire best friends who take an immediate liking to Roxy. They have a bit of a scarred past as well.
This is a very short but sexy ménage story. I think this is the best one out of the series so far. It flowed better than the previous in the series. The sex scenes were very steamy and we get to see the couples from previous books.

Another sexy ménage from Calista Fox! I was lucky enough to receive The Billionaires from Netgalley a while back and I was very impressed with Fox’s writing skills and ability to spin a hot scene! This novella is no exception.
Roxy Shea is on the mend after an abusive relationship and is hiding out in Bayford. She doesn’t expect to catch the eye of not only one sexy bachelor but two! Even though she has sworn off all men she can't just resist their sinful ways. Nick Faulkner and Hunter Valens used to be best friends until Hunter vanished for a few years and suddenly came back, vying for Roxy’s attention.
The benefit of this little novella was that the hot scenes were quick and plentiful, but I didn’t like this as much as The Billionaires. I like a little more length to really get to know the characters and set up a story without insta-love/lust.
If you are looking for a quick and sexy read definitely pick this up! I didn’t feel like I was missing out on anything by starting on the 4th novel of the series.

Talk about setting the pages on fire! Fox creates an erotic romance of the M/F/M variety that managed a moving plot that perfectly balanced the steam with the heart of the story. This balance makes sure that even with the novelette length the reader is captivated and engaged with every detail.

OBSESSION is a sexy and drama-filled novella, and if you are in the mood for a quick and naughty ménage, then this is the book for you. It combines sizzling sexual encounters with a short and sweet story for just the perfect, easy read to fill a lazy afternoon.
Apparently Bayfront has one thing going for it, in addition to the rich and famous dotting the landscape - it also has a high number of relationship trios. Even though she was not looking to get involved, especially after running away from an abusive relationship, Roxy Shea somehow caught the eyes of two of the town's sexiest bachelors who are willing to do whatever it takes to make her theirs.
I love a girl who's not afraid to experiment or take a chance on something new, like Roxy, especially after the life-changing experience she left behind. Both men come with their own baggage and Roxy is just the person to bridge the divide between them and when her past catches up with her, the men are there to shield her from it.
This is my first book by this author but I enjoyed it and will definitely be catching up on the rest of the series.

Book Review For: 'Obsession' by Calista Fox 'Obsession' by Calista Fox is book Four in the "Bayfront Billionaires" series. This is the story of Roxy Shea, Nick Faulkner and Hunter Valens. I have read the other books but this is easily a standalone book. This is a hot book that tells the story of Roxy meeting two men Nick and Hunter. Nick and Hunter are friends and both of them are attracted to Roxy. They end up all sleeping together and finding their place in this new type of romance affair they are having. A quick, sexy , and hot , fast paced novella that is just right for a quick afternoon or evening read.
Roxy Shea, a young artist is on the run from a wealthy abusive ex-fiancé and believes she has finally found herself a safe haven in Bayfront California. Roxy has cut and colored her hair changed her eye color and began putting weight back on; along with changing her name. She has developed friendships that have now lead her to meeting two of Bayfront 's most eligible and sexy bachelors. Two bachelors that are more than willing share her and embrace what seems to be a popular relationship choice of palyamrous threesomes . Nick a movie studio mogul and Hunter a popular writer and script writer are best freinds who share a painful past and are not seeking love but leave it to fate to change that and the same can be said for Roxie she never wants to feel owned or possessed by anyone ever again but the chemistry and the spark she feels with these men lead her in to desiring a threesome much like her freind have.

Roxy Shea is an aspiring artist on the run from an abusive ex. She finds home in Bayfront. A beautiful place that calls to her with the ocean seascapes she features in her canvas prints. Most of the people living in Bayfront are of the affluent variety and the men seem to be very attractive to boot! Two said men in question are Nick and Hunter. She meets both after them bidding on a paint party she donated for a women's shelter fundraiser. The men were instantly taken with her and she to them.
Bayfront is special in that it caters to an alternative lifestyle of threesomes. They are common place here and after a couple of conversations, Roxy is intrigued with the idea. She never entertained it previously, but with her closest friends being involved in that lifestyle, her below the radar existence is about to get complicated.
Both Hunter and Nick have had their share of bad times. When they notice Roxy, their attraction is nothing they have felt before. They have never shared a woman previously, but both seem to be open to it with Roxy. She turns out to be a lifeline to sanity they were missing.
Obsession is book four in the Bayfront Billionaires series that features threesomes. I really liked all three main characters. Roxy is scared and running from an ex. She is a strong girl having got herself away from the toxic situation she was in. Nick had a tragedy hit him that would rival horror flicks. Hunter, being Nick's best friend, stayed strong for Nick for as long as he could before he felt himself being dragged down by Nick's grief, and had to get away for awhile. They all end up in Bayfront with the same circle of friends. Who wouldn't go after two gorgeous men who want her to be the center of their solar system?? I don't think I would!
I had a couple of things though, that just didn't sit right. They were all very quick to jump into a threesome scenario. I understand one night wasn't enough for any of them, but it felt a little too rushed. Maybe a few more dates and spending time together, to cement it for me, would've helped. The scene with the ex-I was expecting to be gangbusters, but it was very anti-climatic. Roxy never discussed what was done to her by him or his associates-we only know she was abused. I wanted to hear her tell the men her story as they both told her theirs. I think an epilogue with her moving in and her wanting to tell them everything, would've shown her trust in them. Especially if they were taking their romance to the next level, secrets can be harmful. The sexy scenes were spicy and I loved them! Give me more!!!
All in all, Calista Fox gave us a ménage story that's great to read this summer at the beach! Quick and spicy! A cool drink needed here, my friends!! I'm also really looking forward to the next book in the series Addiction!

Roxy Shea is a skittish artist who is doing her best to hide from an ex-lover turned stalker. It is very apparent from the beginning that Roxy is a bundle of nerves who just wants to stay in the background. Her desire to paint and then just hide away is overwhelming from the get go. So when she's been noticed first by Nick and then Hunter, two very public figures, her thin wall of protection comes crashing down.
From a plot perspective, this story needs a bit of work. It's pretty straightforward and the ending is completely anticlimactic. Let's be honest, I didn't read the book for the plot, character development or world building. What caught my attention was the Billionaire theme and the erotic menage. On both fronts, this story delivers. Whilst there is a little back story about Nick and Hunter's break in friendship, it didn't really move me. Even the sad tragic death barely made me lift an eyebrow. I definitely shed no tears. From an emotion pulling standpoint, this tale did nothing as far as heartbreaking sorrow or being moved. From an erotic spicy sexy element, this story does make it hot!
The chemistry between the three characters is smoking hot. This mmf menage burns up the sheets and is so fun to read. Roxy is saved by not one, but two white knights. Albeit a bit of a dinged up white knights as both Nick and Hunter have trauma in the past that brings in extra baggage. Still, Ms. Fox pens some delicious threesome with just the right amount of loving heat. This story is a lovely community set in a fantasy many females dream about. A nice rich elite group of friends, accepting community for the alternative lifestyle and smoking hawt sex... what more is needed? This romance is recommended to menage lovers who enjoy two alpha males protecting a helpless female.

Do you get a second chance at love? Roxy feels safe now but she is so afraid that her ex will find her again but she knows that she will need to sell some of her art soon as she is running out of funds. She would hate to leave this town as she is where she needs to be. Nick & Hunter lost touch after Hunter just packed up and left and now he is home but he still hasn't told Nick why he left. And once they see Roxy they both decide that they like what they see and she could be the one to heal their wounds. But would Roxy be up to the challenge of both men wanting her together? Roxy knows that this is a strange set up but she knows that she wants them both and she is just going to have a ball. But the men have to be honest about their friendship and what broke both of their hearts. Nick's ex lover was murdered by her ex husband and it broke both of their hearts as it destroyed Nick's heart and it made Hunter feel guilty for wanting that happiness. Can Roxy take a chance again as was in a relationship with a man that is still looking for her and he will make sure she pays for running away? The past comes to find Roxy and she realizes that she can't lose the men as she cares for them both but will she get a chance at showing them? Nick & Hunter won't allow anyone to hurt her ever again and we fight for this brave woman. Can they really set up house together and be happy? A great intense read. Obsession is short, dramatic and sexy. Whilst I have to admit I don't usually read M/F/M I enjoyed this naughty little romance and Roxy's drama.
After moving to Bayfront for a new start, Roxy finds herself caught up with two of the towns sexiest, richest and most handsome men - seriously, what are the chances? She's not entirely sure what to make of the usual situation and decides to have some well deserved fun.
For their part Nick and Hunter aren't exactly opposed to the idea and discover they quite like the unorthodox relationship and spending time with Roxy.
The story is very naughty so is definitely not for younger readers. I'd class it as more as a novella than full length story, but this works well with all the sexy scenes and helps keep the scenarios fresh and not repetitive.
Be like Roxy and enjoy some guilt free fun...

This is the fourth in the series, and we get to catch up with previous relationships, so will mean more if you read them in order. That said if you just want a super hot interlude, then this would serve the purpose.
Roxy has a secret which she would rather stayed in her past, and as she starts to feel comfortable amongst her new friends in Bayfront, she is hopeful that she can move on at last. She is surrounded by trios, and is undoubtedly curious, so when two men show clear interest in her, she chances her luck - and we get to go along for the ride! The men have some pretty complicated issues due to a past love of Nick's, but that seems to be improving. Naturally things don't always run smoothly, but even I was surprised that Roxy wasn't a little more honest with the guys given their history. I guess we can blame her brain being well and truly fried, lucky lady!
Hot, fun and ultimately satisfying romance; a good addition to the series. Thank you Ms Fox.

An ok. fast read. Roxy is on the run from an abusive past, and when she attracts the attention two of the towns sexy playboys, a relationship with either of them is last thing on her mind. Until they can't hold back any longer and old feuds between the guys are forgotten and three of them end up together for a night of passion.

Obsession is the fourth novel, or novella, in the Bayfront Billionaires series, but not only is it the first book in the series that I've read, it's also the first book I've read by this author. Although it's part of a series, it worked just fine as a standalone, and it gets a 3.5-star rating from this reader.
Roxy Shea (an alias) has been on the run from her abusive ex-fiance, Tommy, for two years, and has moved to the lovely, little known, and extremely posh, seaside California town of Bayfront. Since going on the run, she's changed her appearance, her hair color, had necessary plastic surgery on her nose and cheekbones, and even wears contact lenses to change her eye color. She's a talented artist and been promoting herself as an artist and art instructor via an agent in order to maintain her low profile. She fell in love with this town as soon as she saw it, and has managed to become friends with a number of its residents, a number of whom seem to have an odd proclivity for threesomes.
Roxy has also involved herself in a local charity, raising money to provide safe havens, therapy and shelters for abused women and children, and it's at a fundraiser for that charity that she meets devastatingly handsome and sexy Hollywood producer, Nick Faulkner, and it's lust at first sight for both of them. She's donated one of her seascapes and 12 art lessons to be auctioned off, and Nick gets into a bidding war with another interested party and finally has the winning bid at $10,000. It turns out that the other bidder is not only someone he knows, it's his closest friend, one who left town 3 years ago without a word and has just returned. That friend is novelist and screen writer, Hunter Valens, also a handsome hunk and also equally attracted to Roxy. If you've read MFM menage novels before, you can easily see where this relationship is heading, and when it gets there, turn up your air conditioner because this is one graphically explicit and steaming hot menage a trois.
While I thoroughly enjoyed this short, well-written and well-plotted romance and its characters, I felt that there were a number of missed opportunities that would have made this novel more than just the quick, hot read it was, the first being that although we learn at the outset that Roxy fears that her ex-fiance will find her, having a prologue set before Roxy's arrival in Bayfront would have given the reader more insight into exactly what went so horribly wrong with her relationship with Tommy. This is a man she supposedly loved enough to agree to marry, and in their one year together, how did she go from loving this man to fearing him to the point of extreme paranoia? Knowing more about the particulars of that relationship would have given us much more insight into her character.
Nick and Hunter were the closest of friends, and kudos to Ms. Fox for eventually giving us some of their backstory later in the book. Finally, since none of the three principal characters have never engaged in a menage or even considered it, the naturalness and ease with which they seduce Roxy (or Roxy seduces them) seemed a bit too pat. It would have been a more believable had there at least been a few awkward moments between Nick and Hunter. These men are best friends, whom I'm guessing should have and would have found getting naked and climbing into bed with each other to pleasure Roxy somewhat uncomfortable and strange, yet the way they tag team her and work together to bring her pleasure made them seem like menage professionals.
The timing between Nick and Hunter meeting Roxy for the first time and subsequently bedding her also seemed to occur way too fast, and again it wasn't entirely believable. Finally, the scene in which Roxy's ex-fiance finds her, something she's been dreading, didn't really pack much of punch. The Tommy we finally meet didn't seem to really be the monster Roxy feared at all. Again, knowing how their relationship went from good to bad would have explained that discrepancy.
All in all, this was an enjoyable and steamy read, and Ms. Fox definitely has skills. I look forward to reading more of her work, and hope that some of the books that await me are more lengthy and the characters more deeply developed.

Bayfront Billionaires series by Calista Fox is a series that focuses on ménage relationships. Obsession is the third book in the series and the first one that I have read. Obsession is also a novella sized story so events do play out pretty quickly. The romance is quite steamy but the ending was quite predictable.
Bayfront, California is the home to quite a few hot billionaire bachelors and Roxy Shea has made this her new home. She moves there not with the intent of finding a rich boyfriend but to escape a rich abusive ex-fiancé. Obviously, Bayfront isn’t a cheap place to live so Roxy is quickly running out of money. She’s hoping to supplement her income with her paintings and by her new business venture. Roxy meets the sexy Nick Faulkner at an auction held at his estate. Sparks fly and Nick can’t forget the sexy blonde.
Hunter Valens also makes an appearance at the auction but it isn’t until the next day that Roxy gets to meet her author idol. Once again sparks fly and Roxy is conflicted about her feelings to these two incredibly sexy men, who just happen to be best friends. Nick and Hunter both vy for her feelings but Roxy has heard about the many ménage relationships in town and decides to try her luck.
Each character has their own dark past that they must overcome in order to value the relationship that is being built. The sex is quite hot and explicit. Although, the guys (spoiler alert?) never hook up, they both just want to make Roxy the happiest and most satisfied woman around.
The ending was predictable although I expected a little more conflict than what happened. I would recommend this if you want a hot, sexy read. The guys were suitably hot and wanted nothing more than Roxy’s happiness while Roxy wanted nothing more than to make these hot men quite happy and restore their fractured friendship. If you want a quick, hot read then check Obsession out.

Hunter had flipped a switch—turning her on like nothing she could remember. Well, except that Nick had done the same the previous evening. They were both working some sort of spell on her that was too invigorating to resist caving to. At least from a flirtation standpoint. I'm pretty sure it's love...or at the very least I must acknowledge my own "obsession" with the inhabitants of the Bayfront community; the alternate lifestyle location for Calista Fox's Billionaire men and the women that love them. This is the second book by Ms. Fox that I've read and loved, leading me to the conclusion that I've found a sure fire go to in the erotic romance. Especially of the menage variety.
In this story, old friends Nick and Hunter find themselves in a totally new to them situation with a new to town artists Roxy. Roxy is the center of this tale, as we learn about her past and the reasons why she is in Bayfront. Nick and Hunter aren't exactly at odds, but they are estranged as Hunter has just come back to town after a three year absence where he was completely out of touch with Nick. Fox creates a delicious scenario, as Roxy finds herself equally attracted to both men. She's met them on the same evening and had little chance to choose over the other, so why? Why choose?
It's a delicious exploration of sexual attraction and an insta-love of the polyamorous variety. Because this is a novella, the connection comes about quickly. All it takes is one hint insinuating the possibility and the three find themselves closed away at Hunters penthouse.
Fox cleverly weaves together their stories as aspects of Roxy's past and Nick's greatest heartbreak share a sub-theme surrounding the effects and outcomes of domestic violence. Mostly this serves to add depth to the characters and builds backstories that allow them to relate to each other on a more than primal level.
Both Nick and Hunter are alpha's but they learn they can love and share the same woman with amazing results "She’d become a conduit of sorts that bridged them together again." I'll admit that when I read menage a trois driven stories, I always choose a favorite and I can't imagine how it would work, to not love (or be attracted to) one more than the other, feel something different that nudges them into a favorite position. And then I'm reminded it's not suppose to be about choosing and that's what makes this a sexy and fun "escape" read. 4.5 Stars and recommendation!

I read two this week. In this one we have the continuing series of the Bayfront Billionaires, the town where everyone seems to get involved in this type of relationship. This is Roxy's story who, if you have read the series has read about her in the background before. She is a woman running from an abusive relationship. Roxy is an artist, which I liked. She is smart and strong, which I also liked about her. She catches the eye of Nick and Hunter, who both have past demons that they are trying to get past. Both of these guys sexy and make great heroes for Roxy.
The story was good, very sexy. The only thing I was a little disappointed in was the suspense around Roxy's abuser. When it got done to the end of the story it was a little anticlimactic. I wish more was done with the suspense part.
I am not sure who is up next in the series, but I will be waiting to be a voyeur in their world.

Calista Fox is continuing her Bayfront series with the next novella Obsession and I promise you its as steamy as the first books in this series.
Roxy Shea knows the reputation that Bayfront has for menage relationships - two of her friends are in that type of relationship themselves. It's something that Roxy never really thought of and would actually prefer to keep her life low key since she is running from a monster. But when 2 eligible bachelors who happen to best friends bid on one of her painting Roxy knows her life is about to get very complicated since she wants both men and they want her.
Hunter Valens and Nick Faulkner have been best friends since they were children, but when tragedy struck Nick - Hunter was the true friend but needed to leave to regain himself. Now after a 3-year absence from Bayfront, he is home and wants to stay but will his and Nick's attraction to Roxy ruin them or make them even stronger. Can Nick come to terms with his past to have a relationship with Roxy and Hunter?
Ms Fox has an uncanny way of drawing her readers into her stories and makes us feel for her characters and she certainly does so with Obsession. I really like Nick, Hunter and Roxy - their dynamic was electric and the sex was beyond hot. I also liked the history that is coming to play within Bayfront the relationships between the characters from all the books is starting to interweave and its fantastic. Told from multiple POV's we get to see all three of our characters in different ways which I always appreciate. I did think it was very short and with some of the subject matter, Ms. Fox introduces I would have liked more time with these characters to build up the suspense and tension and ultimately a great happy ending.
That being said I would still recommend this as a great summer read - it definitely fits that bill.

This was my first book from Calista Fox and I enjoyed it. The characters hooked me from the beginning and I thought my kindle might melt as their story played out-but it would have been worth it. This book definitely is a menage book, so if that isn't your thing (and that's ok if it isn't!) I wouldn't recommend this title for you BUT if you like MFM, I would tell you to give this book a try.
Roxy Shea has a past that she's running from. She finally feels comfortable in Bayford, living her life as an artist and is generally happy. She has good friends and the attraction of not one, but two hot men.
Nick and Hunter also have a past. They were friends for a long time but Hunter left for three years, basically out of the blue, and is now back in Bayford. When they find themselves both attracted to Roxy things definitely get interesting.
This book is full of lust and passion for these three. I'm not kidding when I say I thought my kindle would melt-it was an incredibly steamy read. It's a short read, but it packed a wallop sexy times wise. I felt that pull between the three of them instantly and once I got started with them I couldn't put the book down.
I thought the pacing of this book worked. As I've mentioned, it's a short read but that's ok. I was pleased with where we left the characters. I will say that I went into this reading it as a standalone and I might have enjoyed it a bit more had I read the first books, but I did enjoy it overall. I would recommend this book and look forward to reading more from this author.
This was my first book from Calista Fox and I enjoyed it. The characters hooked me from the beginning and I thought my kindle might melt as their story played out-but it would have been worth it. This book definitely is a menage book, so if that isn't your thing (and that's ok if it isn't!) I wouldn't recommend this title for you BUT if you like MFM, I would tell you to give this book a try.
Roxy Shea has a past that she's running from. She finally feels comfortable in Bayford, living her life as an artist and is generally happy. She has good friends and the attraction of not one, but two hot men.
Nick and Hunter also have a past. They were friends for a long time but Hunter left for three years, basically out of the blue, and is now back in Bayford. When they find themselves both attracted to Roxy things definitely get interesting.
This book is full of lust and passion for these three. I'm not kidding when I say I thought my kindle would melt-it was an incredibly steamy read. It's a short read, but it packed a wallop sexy times wise. I felt that pull between the three of them instantly and once I got started with them I couldn't put the book down.
I thought the pacing of this book worked. As I've mentioned, it's a short read but that's ok. I was pleased with where we left the characters. I will say that I went into this reading it as a standalone and I might have enjoyed it a bit more had I read the first books, but I did enjoy it overall. I would recommend this book and look forward to reading more from this author.

I have read a few books by Calista Fox, and I think this one may be my favourite. I enjoyed it so much, that I was able to forget that I was sitting in a crowded airport waiting to board my plane!
Roxy, Nick, and Hunter are sinfully wicked together! They each have their respective demons, but they find peace and healing as a trio. The chemistry between the three of them was blistering hot from page 1!
I thoroughly enjoyed the banter. I love when a book makes me laugh because of the characters interactions.
This book is a novella, a slice of the story pie. It takes place in a very short time period, and things happen very quickly. But I didn't feel like I was missing out on anything. The story felt complete.
When I say things happen quickly in this novella, I really mean it! There's some intensely erotic sexy times that was all sorts of delicious...and you don't have to wait long for it happen! That's the great thing about an erotic romance novella; you get to the good stuff in no time at all!
I liked the dynamic between the trio. They fell hard and fast. It's a little hard to believe in terms of reality. But that's what fantasies are for.
I don't think you need to read the whole series to enjoy this book. I didn't feel like I was missing any information. However, why wouldn't you want to read more ménage novellas?! If you're looking for a book that is truly titillating, and can be read in a short sitting, give this one a try!

If you want a fast and fabulous read with some naughty sex, this is the book for you! Filled with beautiful people surrounded by gorgeous things, this novella satisfies the senses with sumptuous flair. It’s fluffy and delicious, not for those seeking a deep, dark read.
Roxy Shay is escaping from an ugly past. Luckily she’s fallen into a wonderful situation with good friends and interesting surroundings. She’s tired of running and this might be the place she could settle down…if she’s really safe. Her interest in romance had also been revived with the appearance of two devastating men, both sparking her senses.
Hunter had been gone for several years, attempting to run away from his feelings of guilt. When his best friend Nick’s girlfriend was murdered, he’d been devastated. What had really upset him was that he’d been jealous of Nick and Jess’s relationship–he’d wanted to meet someone top and just hadn’t. That jealousy made him feel horribly guilty when Jess was killed, so after making sure Nick was through the worst of his grief, he’d run.

This was my 2nd or 3rd time reading this series. I loved it as much if not more than the first time.
Author Calista Fox wrote each of these novellas in such a way that she grabbed your attention and attention from the first chapter to the the very end. Fair warning that these are erotic romance stories that are intended for audiences over the age of 18 years old.
One the things that I liked about the series is how the characters are woven into woven into the narrative for each subsequent book. This definitely added to the community feeling described by the characters, which was best represented by Roxy, the female protagonist in Obsession, Bayfront Billionaires #4.
Calista painted a vivid picture with her words of what was happening throughout the novel. Much better than other such stories. I chatted with other readers as I was reading, and the general consensus was the same. The only complaints were as follows:
1) needs more novels in this series; and
2) although the proofreading on this was very good, there were still a couple of typos.
(The typos weren’t major and didn’t take away from the story.)
If you like this genre, then I highly recommend Books 1-4 of the Bayfront Billionaires for your reading pleasure! FYI:.. I have not read volume 5, “Addiction” as of yet, but I suspect that it will receive a glowing review as well. Enjoy!

Alcune delle sue opere vengono addirittura esposte per un’asta di beneficienza, La richiesta è altissima, a dir poco incredibile, Roxy sembra toccare il cielo con un dito. Le sue foto riscuotono un inaspettato successo e finiscono per attirare l’interesse di due degli uomini più in vista della zona: Nicholas Faulkner e Hunter Valens. Per la verità, i due scapoloni d’oro ingaggiano una vera e propria lotta a suon di verdoni per accaparrarsi l’opera principale nonché l’attenzione della bella ragazza. La gara si trasforma ben presto in una sfida bizzarra di cui Roxy diventa il premio finale.
Se pensate sia semplice scegliere alla fine il vincitore, siete fuori strada, la stessa Roxy si trova spiazzata. I due uomini sono bellissimi, sexy e famosi, all’inizio essi non vogliono conquistare il suo cuore ma solo trascorrere momenti indimenticabili insieme.

E allora perché scegliere? Le cose si complicano quando una volta verificata la compatibilità tra loro, i tre decidono di continuare. Volete conoscere come andrà a finire? Non vi resta che leggere il romanzo.
OBSESSION è un erotico fresco, spigliato, ben scritto, dallo stile limpido e scorrevole. Il romanzo è divertente e non così superficiale come può sembrare. Non lasciatevi ingannare dalle premesse, questo non è la solita storia e i personaggi non sono solo abili amanti, belli da togliere il fiato. In loro c’è anche sostanza. E non pensiate di trovarvi di fronte alla consueta threesome, utile solo a solleticare la fantasia di chi legge. In questo caso il ménage a trois, oltre a essere un intrattenimento piacevole e intrigante, rappresenta una sfida nella sfida che permetterà ai protagonisti di vincere le paure del passato e di tornare a vivere.

E infatti potremmo definirlo proprio così; il loro rapporto, non è basato solo sul sesso, nudo e crudo, dietro ai loro focosi incontri leggiamo, in fondo, una richiesta d’aiuto. Roxy, Nick e Hunter hanno bisogno di stare insieme poiché dalla loro amicizia dipende il cambiamento. Hanno molto in comune, tutti e tre nascondono un segreto: Roxy è fuggita da una relazione ambigua, Nick è sopravvissuto al dolore atroce della perdita della donna della sua vita e Hunter, dopo aver aiutato l’amico, è sparito per placare i rimorsi di coscienza. Dopo anni di sofferenze e incomprensioni ecco arrivata l’occasione del riscatto. Certo, nessuno di loro lo aveva previsto ma sono contenti di ritrovarsi in una simile avventura. La loro amicizia è la molla che rompe il bozzolo della solitudine interiore in cui si sono rifugiati. Come dire, l’unione fa la forza, e infatti insieme si danno manforte, Roxy, Nick e Hunter si aiutano a vicenda, abbattono la paura e ritrovano fiducia e coraggio per affrontare i propri demoni. Roxy vuole tornare a fidarsi degli uomini, Nicholas a credere di nuovo nell’amore e Hunter (per me il personaggio meglio riuscito), vuole finalmente trovarlo.

OBSESSION è una commedia erotica, pertanto aspettatevi scene bollenti. Ma è anche una storia di amicizia, di buoni sentimenti e d’amore, un gustoso quadro della natura umana. Non mancano i drammi né momenti di suspance. Peccato per il finale affrettato, a causa della brevità della stesura, infatti, alcune tematiche sembrano poco convincenti. Sarebbe bastato un minimo di approfondimento in più per ovviare all’inconveniente e rendere il romanzo quasi perfetto.
Nonostante tutto, però, ne consiglio la lettura. In vista dell’estate, alziamo la temperatura con qualche idea gustosa ed eccitante…
La morale, poi, non può non essere condivisa, a me è piaciuta un sacco: sapete qual è il segreto della felicità? Non certo possedere fama e soldi, certo aiutano ma da soli non bastano, Bisogna anche essere fortunati a trovare la persona giusta.
E se poi sono due… tanto meglio, non vi pare?

Wow! What a book! I swear, I didn't see any of that coming! Obsession truly does live up to its name! The writing and plot for this book are amazing, you get gripped to the story almost instantly, the only drawback to the story, that I found, was it was a very quick read, and you are left wanting more.
You cannot help but love Roxy, Nick, and Hunter, but a quick warning to those of you who want lots of detail, this book and this character's don't have it. But maybe you need to read the whole series, to truly know the character's well.
I give Obsession 4 stars!
