Rate this book
Ninety minutes from now, a group of stressed-out corporate consultants is slated to present their work on a mysterious project. It's time to brainstorm within the morally ambiguous parameters they've been given so they can make it to their kids' soccer games and continue their ill-advised affairs. But as they work, the question of what they aren't being told looms ever larger, becoming harder to ignore. If something truly monstrous is going on, it wouldn't be happening over Starbucks scones... would it? A ferocious and hilarious thriller.

i liked it!! it was very entertaining i was hooked the whole way through. id say the main problem is that some of the charcaters r kinda slow on the uptake like they Really didnt consider there could be an ulterior motive before lol. its kindaa acknowledged but its more so that their plans could be misused rather than created with bad intentions in the first place, but their trust in J.D. is presented strongly enough thats its kinda nitpick like i havent sold my soul to corporate yet so i wouldnt have their perspective like i get it. great entry in one of my favorite fiction formats of a small cast of people just talking in one location in real time. the way new ideas are presented w the charts n whiteboard n stuff were done really well nd the framework made the conflict and stances of each character really easy to follow i was impressed. andd the characters were really strong it would b easy 2 make ted or brock grating but despite a lot of their traits being unlikable and/or morally/ethically grey to black i never actually felt annoyed by them and they only added to instead of detracted from the play... this is bc of how tight the comedy nd dialogue were i was seriously never bored. rlly simple and effective. can someone upload the rest of aaron loebs plays online or at least give it to my local library system i want to read first person shooter. do i have to email him

I'll be seeing this play next week for a college class, and having read the script already I'm thoroughly looking forward to seeing it performed! Though present as a seemingly comedy, the narrative of moral dilemmas are thought-provoking and far from shallow. I'm looking forward to delving into this text, trying to decipher the complex scenario presented and not necessarily resolved. Definitely recommend!
