Rate this book
Who knew fate could twist a tragedy into a second chance at love?

Samantha Winters lives her life the way a good accountant should--measured, deliberate, and safe. After watching her father die in a tragic skiing accident, she decided never to allow risk into her life again. But she didn't count on falling for Nick Chastain, who embodies everything she doesn't want in her safely constructed world.

Against Samantha's warnings, Nick plans a dangerous kayaking trip over spring break. Furious that he's so careless with his life, she ends their fledgling relationship with harsh words.

Two years later, Samantha is desperately in need of a change. When she learns her grandmother has had an accident and is in need of a caretaker, Samantha quickly packs her bags and heads to Thunder Creek, Idaho. But nothing could prepare her for the surprise awaiting her in her grandmother's hospital room . . . Nick.

With the charming backdrop of small-town friends, beloved cousins, and a whole church congregation rooting for them, can they set aside the disastrous ending of their first try at love? Has Nick changed enough to meet Samantha in the middle--and can she realize that a risk in love might be worth taking?

Samantha Winters has a good job as an accountant but the job is no longer satisfying to her, When she receives word her grandmother has been injured in a fall from a horse she takes all her sick days and vacation time from work and uses them to return to Thunder Creek,Idaho to care for her gran. Nothing prepares her for what she sees in her grans' hospital room though. She sees her old flame Nick. They have a romantic past but they broke it off because he was quite the outdoor adventurer and risk taker and she is a worrier and reserved after her father's fatal ski accident. Can they peacefully coexist in the same town now that they'll be seeing each other often? Will old hurts harden their hearts towards each other or is there a second chance at love coming for these two?
I really loved the character Gran. She is a real sweetheart and would love to sit and have a cup of tea with her. Samantha and Nick are a wonderful and warm couple and I really enjoyed learning their story and seeing how they matured as people. I loved that this was a consistently faith based story where the characters cared about their faith journey. Their faith is important to them!
Beautiful story of caring, forgiveness and faith.

I wanted to love this book, but about half way though it started to drag. I felt like it went from really good to stagnant. And then it was on hyperdrive, but at that point I had started to loose interest.

They went from dating to engaged in three days, Three! And I realize that they dated before, but there was reasons that they ended the relationship and even though they had been around each other I didn't feel like there was a reflectionary time period to devote the rest of a life time with the person. Also, it was like they solved their problems with trusting each other rather quickly. It almost felt like the author started with a good idea, and then couldn't figure out how to resolve, and then just hurried through.

So this was not a bad book, it had tons of potential, however it could have been better.

I received an advance reader copy in exchange for a fair review.

WHat I liked- This was a sweet clean story with a great message. I liked both characters and the supporting cast was good. You could tell this was a second book but it was its own story. The setting was a really good part of the story.
UNfortunately the things I didn't like( which beat the things I did)- I love dialog between characters especially the love interest. These two spent most of the whole book not talking and that drove me crazy. I felt like I didn't see them fall in love at all, it just seemed to happen in there heads. This could have had a powerful ending as both characters learned to trust God, it fell a little flat for me. There was some repetition and too much of the same thing kept happening. People should only get interrupted once in a story, not over and over whether it's a kiss or an important conversation, it's not a good way to write. Just not a well written story, I wish authors would take the time to not only think of new story lines, but new ways to write them instead of using what I call The Hallmark story. Same ol' characters, with the same ol' problems.

What a fun return to Thunder Creek! I loved getting to see more of Brooklyn and Derek from the first book but especially seeing more of wise, spunky grandma Ruth. Samantha and Nick are so different from each other, but they're still feeling sparks despite having not seen each other since they broke up three years before.

I loved all the detail about the locations and scenes. Being able to feel like I've seen real scenery instead of just read some incidents in some folks's lives is a bug plus for me as a reader and what bumped this book up from three to four stars. (Good to very good)

It's an easy read, a fast-paced contemporary. Nothing mind blowing...a comfort read. There is some talk of Christianity and a portrayal of how much God has come to mean to Nick, but in the end there isn't a specific sort of spiritual lesson to learn. Definitely not preachy at all.

Content: "heavens" and "for heaven's sakes"

A return to Thunder Creek Idaho and delightful hints, if you haven’t read You’ll Think of Me, and clues for those that haven’t, but for me I love this place the word pictures offered by the author make it breath taking.
Can two broken people that had a relationship put it back together, they end up states away from where they began, and now they end up in the same place at the same time, coincidence?
Both characters in this new book need to trust God, and we hope that as the story progress they are able to let go of their fears and see what God has placed before them!

You're Gonna Love Me returns readers to the charming, small country town of Thunder Creek. Farmland, orchards, horses, fresh air and friendship - the charm of the setting seeps from the pages and infuses the story. This is a sweeping and relaxing love story. A story about forgiveness and second chances. A story about facing your fears. A story about finding love in places you least expect it.

When Samantha returns to Thunder Creek to care for her grandmother, the very last person she expects to see in Ruth's hospital room is Nick Chastain. Two years ago Sam and Nick spent eight months dating. Eight months in which Sam spent most of that time fearful he would be injured on one of his wild adventures - kayaking, waterskiing, absailing. They ended their relationship with harsh words and silence. Now Nick, recovering from a serious head injury that has left him with memory loss and other side effects, is staring life over. Thunder Creek offers him peace and a fresh start. Seeing Sam again gives him hope he isn't sure he deserves. Is it worth trying to start a relationship with Sam, can he convince her he is a changed man?

Imagine a lazy Saturday afternoon. Rolling countryside, warm sunlight, fresh spring flowers scenting the air. Sounds charming, right? That's the best way I can describe this book. It's idyllic. Sam and Nick's story slowly unfolds. Interspersed with the story of their reconnection are little flashbacks, memories of their first relationship. It gives the readers an insight into their past, the hurts and fears that crippled their first go at love. This time around, they are both very cautious, each with their own reasons. Sam isn't sure she wants to trust Nick again or risk her heart. Nick isn't sure he should risk a future where his health might impact the lives of others. As they reconnect, they learn to accept each other, face their fears, and, ultimately, trust God. I really enjoyed the gentle pace of this story. Nick and Sam take their time getting to know one another again. It takes time for Sam to work through her fears and Nick reaches out to his new friends and God while questioning the direction for his life. Combined with some helpful love and guidance from Sam's grandmother, Ruth, they make a gradual transition back into trust, friendship, and love.

Derek and Brooklyn from You'll Think Of Me, Robin Lee Hatcher's previous book, are prominent characters in this book, as is Ruth, Sam's grandmother, and many of the other residents of Thunder Creek. It is fun to see their stories continue as we start a new journey with Nick and Sam.

I highly recommend this book for readers who enjoy light and heartfelt stories of romance, love, faith, family, and second chances.

Samantha Winters broke up with Nick Chastain because he was a professional daredevil, a college professor whose out-of-class adventures mean he’s an adrenaline-seeking modern Indiana Jones. Two years later, she’s back in her home town of Thunder Creek for three months, to help her grandmother recover from a riding accident. Nick is there, working on her brother’s farm. Why?

Nick was injured in a white-water rafting accident not long after he and Sam broke up. He suffers from memory loss, which means he can no longer teach, and he’s been told to stay away from the daredevil activities, as another accident could kill him. So he’s installing irrigation systems in Idaho. On Sam’s brother’s organic farm.

It doesn’t take long for the two to reconnect. It also doesn’t take long for the sparks to fly, as the two realise their old problems are still bubbling under the surface. I found Samantha frustrating. I could understand her fear that something might happen to Nick as he’s off doing all these dangerous things, but people choke to death on vegetables. We can’t live our lives in fear, or we’d never leave the house.

We're made in the image of God and God is the creator. Thus, we are all called to create. But that is Sam’s problem: she wants to feel safe. That’s why she’s stuck in a job she doesn’t really enjoy, because that’s easier than looking for another job. I can relate to that. If the current job allows you the time, money, and mental headspace to pursue hobbies, why change?

But I also found Nick frustrating, for not telling Samantha about his accident, and for not telling her the extent of his injuries. Especially for not telling her he was no longer the adventuring daredevil she’d broken up with.

I guess the plus part of these character quirks is it made them feel like real people. The opposites-attract plot isn’t original. It’s a romance so we all know how it’s going to end (if you weren’t sure, the clue is in the title). But the author manages to take what could be a cookie-cutter romance up a level with well-developed characters who are anything but cliche. Even though I knew what was going to happen, I wanted to see it play out on the page.

I especially liked the way the Christian faith was woven into the plot. It gave an added depth to the plot and to the characters, but it didn’t provide an “easy out”. The characters couldn’t just pray and have everything be fixed. That’s not real life, and it’s not good fiction either.

You’re Gonna Love Me is the sequel to You’ll Think of Me (Derek and Brooklyn’s story), but can easily be read as a standalone. Personally, I’d recommend starting at the beginning of the series—while You’re Gonna Love Me was good, I thought You’ll Think of Me was better. I’ll be interested to see whose story we get in the next visit to Thunder Creek.

Recommended for fans of family-based contemporary Christian romance stories.

"None of us knows what the future holds. Much of what happens in life will never make sense to our mortal minds. But nothing is random or by accident. Our God still reigns, and He still has a plan for every one of us." (p 143)

I adore Gran! Love her wisdom and her patience and the way she opens her heart to everyone. She lives her faith, even as she sweetly conspires to see her granddaughter into a happily-ever-after. Gran and her friends may be secondary characters but their support is pivotal to the story. Love how Hatcher writes 'real' -- makes you feel like you are stepping into an actual town with the kind of folks you'd want for neighbours and friends.

Sam comes home to help her grandma, but the tables are turned when Gran helps her work her way through some crippling life choices. Because Sam lives in fear. She holds on to it and nurtures it to the point she hardly has a life at all. Such a contrast to Zach who lives loud and exuberantly...or he did until circumstances changed. Now he carries around his own fears, different from Sam's but just as incapacitating. Theirs is a moving second-chance love story and it doesn't come easy! Their struggles are relatable and there were times my faith in the outcome actually wavered. Because fear can be a bully that's hard to stand up to. Loved the faith aspect in this book as much as I did the romance!

And fans of the Thunder Creek series (this is book two) will be thrilled over the page time Derek and Brooklyn (You'll Think of Me) get in this one. Mind you, don't despair if you haven't read the first book because You're Gonna Love Me reads fine as a standalone (but I bet you won't be able to resist getting the first book after you read this one!)

"Life is full of chaos, no matter how hard you try to keep it in order. You have to live it the best you can."

Samantha Winters has been living in fear since losing her father in a skiing accident many years ago. Fear governs her life and has, in part, cost her a wonderful relationship with Nick Chastain. Nick liked living on the edge, kayaking, white water rafting, you name it. It made him happy. But Samantha couldn't deal with it and they broke up.

Two years later Samantha moves to Thunder Creek, Idaho from her home in Oregon to take care of her grandmother after a serious ankle break. Imagine her shock when Nick walks into her grandmother's hospital room. What is he doing here? And why is this happening to her now?

But Nick Chastain is not the same man anymore. They have a second chance after a tragic happening in his life. Will Samantha allow her fears to continue to control her life or will she trust God and allow Him to lead her?

I have long been a fan of Robin Lee Hatcher's work. Her stories are emotionally charged and relevant to today's situations. She explores the human heart and mind in her books and the reader comes away with a valuable lesson. Many people live with fear in their lives, but God does not desire for His children to live in torment. He has a plan for our lives and it's a good plan, not one where we have to live trapped in anything. Chalk up another good book for Hatcher with 'You're Gonna Love Me'.

2 1/2 stars.

The story was okay, but it had the potential to be so much more. I didn't see any reason to include the grandmother's POV. In a romance, there should have been only Nick's and Sam's.

The author has problems with the transitions between chapters. It broke the flow and made the reading harder.

This was a sweet story about second chance romance.

I enjoyed the flashbacks to how the relationship between Nick and Samantha, started, developed and what happened to separate them.

Through Samantha’s past losses and her subsequent fears, we can see how if we do not work through our trauma it could hold us back to live a life of abundance.

I loved Alicia and Grandma Ruth from book one.

ou're Gonna Love Me by Robin Lee Hatcher has a gorgeous cover that gripped my attention. I love how the woman is totally focused on the man in the picture, and he leans in capture her gaze. This drew me into the story right away. As for the novel, I knew it was a contemporary romance, so I knew what I was expecting when I picked up the book. I knew I was going to get a quick romance with a lot to tension thrown at the couple as they decide if they want to be together over everything else fighting for their attention.

With predictable plot, I knew that Sam and Nick would end up together. But I think the fun part of some contemporary romances is trying to figure out what conflicts keep them apart and why. What does it take for the couple to decide that they were completely right for each other? This time around with You're Gonna Love Me I had a hard time enjoying the novel. I knew where the novel was headed, so I got bored. Sam and Nick seemed very one-dimensional to me. I really didn't care what happened to either one of them. There story wasn't that interesting.

While I enjoyed returning to the small town of Thunder Creek and seeing Derek and Brooke from the first novel in this series, You'll Think of Me, and how much their marriage and life has changed since the first book, I wasn't drawn into Sam and Nick's stories as much. I enjoying watching the world around them interact with the couple. I love the old house that Nick bought, but I knew that it was a home that he bought with Sam and a future family in mind.

Overall, You're Gonna Love Me by Robin Lee Hatcher is a predictable, unoriginal novel that does return to Thunder Creek, Idaho, but I had a hard time getting engrossed in the novel and the couple. They didn't seem realistic enough for me. I wanted more from the story.

I received a complimentary copy of You're Gonna Love Me by Robin Lee Hatcher from Thomas Nelson Publishing, but the opinions stated are all my own.

Romance, clean, Christian faith elements
This was a beautiful, heart-wrenching story. Samantha and Nick's past relationship that abruptly ended has some unresolved hurts. When Samantha moves to Idaho to help her grandmother recuperate after a bad accident, she and Nick are thrown back in the same sphere with common friends and of course, Nick's part in Samantha's grandmother rescue after an accident.
Both Samantha who is still wondering exactly why things broke off so abruptly, and Nick who has good reasons for the silence are wondering how their past relationship can be resolved with the events from the past. Nick's reflection on his past, his memories that come back with force, his trauma, and pain in the past, and the uncertainties for his future, while making choices that affect them both, was well written, and convincingly told.
With genuine, honest, hurting hearts, these two main characters and the supporting characters create a convincing, romantic read. Their faith, and the growth in how they believe are also an important part of the story. Lovely western setting, family elements and support for the characters, and best a HEA!

Well, the title promised it…and I did (love this book, that is)! You’re Gonna Love Me is book two in the Thunder Creek series, however, it can be easily be read as a stand alone title.

I enjoyed Samantha, Nick, and grandma Ruth so much! This story is a contemporary romance set in a small town, which is truly one of my favorite settings when I read. But, what set this book apart for me was the romantic past that these two characters kept coming up against throughout the novel.

The author did a great job of including flashbacks to the relationship that Nick and Sam had. I liked being able to see what drew the two together, but also understand how very different they were from each other. Nick had changed a lot in the two years since their break up. But it might not be enough for Sam, who fears change and any hint of uncertainty. I loved the back and forth of this story and watching the attraction build between these two.

If you enjoy books filled with romance, faith and turning the page, this book is made for you! Told in a Hallmark fashion, you'll fall in love with the story of Samantha & Nick. Their characters are well developed, the backdrop of the story is relaxing and a wonderful pace to help you fall in love. This is by far one of my favorites of Robin Hatchers books. I couldn't put it down until I was finished as I had to know what was happening with these two characters. Put this book on your Christmas wish list and get ready to sit back with a cup of hot tea, with a cozy blanket and let the hours pass by as you fall in love with a great story. I really enjoyed the pace of this story, the plot and character dynamic. It is wonderful! I give this story 5/5 stars and highly recommend it.

I have mixed feelings about this book. And unfortunately, they aren’t all good.
I guess the first thing I have to say is that I did not like Samantha at all. I didn’t understand her. The reason why is because there was no back story–or not a lot. To me, it seemed as though Samantha was simply scared of everything. I only understood why she didn’t like Nick doing all the things because I read the synopsis above. However, as soon as I started the book, I forgot about the synopsis. I simply wanted to read the book and learn about it by reading the actual thing, not just the synopsis.
I didn’t just not like this book, though. I like the whole idea of the “long lost love” thing. Those type of plots make cute and sweet stories. So, besides the fact that I didn’t really like Samantha, I did like the story overall.
I love the cover. It is one of my favorite covers in a very long time! The only weird thing about it is the way the girl is standing over the bike. It looks just slightly awkward. However, I still have to give the cover 5 stars.
As for the book, I have to give it 3 stars. I had to dock 2 stars because I didn’t like Samantha and that Robin Lee Hatcher didn’t include enough back story (or I just missed it) for me to understand why Samantha was so scared.

This book was a bit of a departure from my normal romance read. I don’t usually go for the Christian romances - mostly because it seems the main point of the book is proselytizing instead of telling a good story first (not that I have anything against proselytizing, it’s just that if I want to learn about Jesus, I’m not gonna go to a romance book for that). Admittedly, it’s been a long time since I read a Christian romance, so I decided to give this new book a chance to see if there was any change in today’s “inspirational” love stories!

Samantha and Nick met at a conference in Oregon. But after dating for eight months, a big disagreement caused the end of their relationship. A couple weeks after the big fight, Sam tried contacting Nick to apologize and see if they could patch things up. But he never responded to her. She was hurt by their argument, but even more so by him ignoring her attempts to make amends.

Now it’s two years later and Sam isn’t sure she’s where she wants to be in her life. When she decides to go to her small hometown in Idaho to help care for her injured grandmother, she has mixed feelings about being there - happy to see her grandmother and family, but feeling a bit at loose ends with the rest of her life. She’s less than happy when she discovers Nick is living there, too.

In the two years since Nick and Sam broke up, Nick has gone through a drastic change to his life as the result of an accident. A traumatic brain injury makes things uncertain and sometimes difficult for him. When he runs into Sam, he’s shocked, but also conflicted - he was always sorry about the way things ended, but doesn’t think there’s any way he is capable of being with anyone ever again.

What this book did well: strong dialogue, good characters, and a heroine who didn’t buckle under the hero’s good looks. It was refreshing to read a book where the main characters aren’t driven solely by their hormones. Also, given the amount of unresolved hurt, it was good to see a story where things weren’t resolved and all forgiven in the blink of an eye.

What didn’t work so well for me: the repeated thoughts of the hero about why he couldn’t be with the heroine again, and that things were resolved in the end without much discussion between the hero and heroine. Sam had some issues because of losing her father that impacted her relationship with Nick, and they didn’t really talk about them and work through them. They were legitimate issues. And instead of Sam telling Nick in a direct way what her fears were so that Nick could learn how to deal with them, she prays and asks God to take away her fear. Don’t get me wrong - praying is important. But you still need to talk with your significant other and work through those issues!

For the most part, I enjoyed this book. Much to my relief, the main purpose of this book was to tell the story of Samantha and Nick, and the family and friends around them. Their faith played a large part in who they all are and how they behave, but the religion part was more character development instead of preaching to the reader. There may be more to this series, and I just may be interested in reading more about the residents of Thunder Creek, Idaho!

There’s nothing like a ‘second chances’ story and Robin Lee Hatcher take that theme and runs with it in this, her new novel You’re Gonna Love Me.

Samantha Winter’s leads a predictable, safe and some would argue . . . boring life. She takes no risks and has no desire to change that. Then she met Nick and found her alter ego opposite who laughs danger in the face with a almost devil may care attitude. When he organises what Samantha believes is a reckless and unnecessarily dangerous kayak trip, for her this is the last and final straw. Ending the relationship is her perceived only option but she may secretly wonder what might have been!

Two years later she is urgently required at her Grandmother’s side due to a accident and there she reconnects with Nick unexpectedly. Old love rekindled and daring to take a chance at love rather than always playing it safe.

Themes of redemption and second chances sprinkled throughout the book give this a sweet if inoffensive read. While it won’t knock anyone’s socks off it may just warm the heart and give those welcome “Feels” we love to talk about.

I really wanted to like this book. I enjoyed a western written by the same author years ago, so I wanted to give her a try again.
I feel like this is an author who's writing style I have personaly outgrown. It comes across very easy to read, a very simple plot ,
and very low on the romance (which is fine if that is what you are looking for). I personally look for writing that draws me in more, a plot with more complex characters, and chemistry you can feel in a love story.
What probably bothered me the most abot this book was Sam's whining. She basically wanted Nick to stop being an outdoor person because she had fear issues. Nick went so far at one point (trying to please her) that he said he would stop doing anything that would make her fearful, just to give him a chance. Then when Nick does something to help someone, Sam throws a hissy fit that he has not changed! Sorry I like my Heroes heroic and my heroines to not be a whiny ninny. This part of the story really got on my nerves, probably because I love outdoor activities (dirtbiking, hiking, ect...) and I get tired of how people say how dangerous my hobby is. Not all dirtbiking is the x-games intense! Driving a car CAN be dangerous, walking down the street CAN be dangerous, what are we supposed to do, Hide in our houses and wait to die? Maybe this is not the message the author ment to send, but I felt sorry for Nick. I know guys who gave up their hobbies for the girls they mary, and to me it is sad. Sam did have a bit of a realization of how much her fearful was controlling her but to me it was too little, too late.
Anyway that is my rant.
3 stars for writing quality

This is a heart-warming, wholesome romance but it was pretty formulaic and, unfortunately, didn't hold my interest. I enjoyed the setting since I live in Idaho but I just couldn't seem to connect with the characters or get into the plot or something. The premise of dealing with the after-effects of a traumatic head injury was interesting, and I loved the dog! There were many elements I did like, but overall it just didn't grab me.

This moved a little too slowly for me and I had trouble getting into the story. There was too much description, not enough dialogue. I didn't read it to the end. This was the first time I read anything from this author. Not sure if I would give the writer another chance. It's clean but the writing style is a bit boring for me. When Sam returns to Thunder Creek to care for her grandmother, the last person she expects to find is her ex-boyfriend Nick. Even more surprising, though, are the changes in Nick. He's kind, considerate of others, and has a growing relationship with Christ.

Following a traumatic brain injury, Nick isn't the man he once was. Not only has his second chance at life given him a new appreciation for others and reliance on his faith, but it's also left him with some mental difficulties. He never dreamed that Sam would come back into his life, but when she does, he struggles with whether it would be fair to her to ask her to share his life.

Sam and Nick are both compelling characters the reader can't help but root for. Their romance is both sweet and heartbreaking by turn, and the obstacles to their "happily ever after," while mostly internal conflict, struck me as incredibly believable.

Wrapped up in this engaging love story is a powerful message of trusting God and not being afraid. Sam has been ruled by her fear ever since her father's accidental death, and nearly every decision in her adult life has come from a desire for safety. Nick's fear is not for physical safety but a fear that his injury would leave him incapable of being a good husband and father. Throughout the story, both characters take steps forward and backward when it comes to trusting God in a way that feels authentic.

You're Gonna Love Me is the second Robin Lee Hatcher book to be set in Thunder Creek, and I hope it won't be the last! Full of romance, engaging characters, and a compelling plot, You're Gonna Love Me is a book romance readers will love.

It’s always nice to visit old friends and a beautiful little town tucked away in the mountains. I remember going to Idaho when I was a kid. I never forgot the beautiful scenery and the quaint little towns we drove through. The author has brought those memories back with a delightful story .

Sam has everything going for her far away from Idaho. She is a great accountant but I wouldn’t say she is exactly happy. After losing her father in a tragic accident, it has caused her to be fearful. I know first hand about fear and anxiety. It is not easy to live each day worrying if something is going to happen. I was happy to read that Sam was going back home to care for her grandmother who had been in an accident. I think Sam’s grandmother stole the show in this story. She has wisdom that really helps Sam and knows her granddaughter is not herself. Having Sam take a leave from work to help her grandmother recover was the perfect medicine for her. Their bond was strong and it was nice to read that Sam really listened and appreciated her grandmother’s advice.

Nick and Sam were an item at one time, but that all changed one day. I think when they run into each other again, hurts that had never been resolved come flowing to the surface. One thing I liked about Nick was his determination. Dealing with TBI is not easy for Nick but he sure doesn’t let that stop him from wanting to find love. Will Sam and Nick rekindle their feelings? I loved how the characters each had fears that needed to conquer and relied on God to help them. The story is well written and I loved how the author reminds us to trust God in everything.

I received a copy of this book book from the author. The review is my own opinion.

YOU'RE GONNA LOVE ME is Ms. Hatcher's newest romance. Sam is dissatisfied in her life and job, but she is secure and she likes it that way. Unfortunately, she fell in love with a risk taker and he took one too many risks, so they broke up. She couldn't live with the uncertainty.

Now, Nick is back. He can no longer work at his structured job at an university due to a brain injury following an accident. He doesn't expect to run into Sam at a hospital, nor does he expect that the older woman he rescued is Sam's grandma. His mind is altered, he struggles to remember things, but Sam, he remembers.

I wanted to like these characters, but I couldn't relate to either Sam or Nick. It was nice to see the changes in the lives of the main characters in the previous book You'll Think of Me and this one was wrapped up neatly at the end, with a HEA ending (which romance readers will love.)

There is no sexual tension between the characters and I found the pace a bit too slow, and the faith message is weak (but it is present.)

I did like the HEA ending. That was the highlight of the book.

Fans of Ms. Hatcher will love YOU'RE GONNA LOVE ME and be anxious to read more about the characters in Thunder Creek, Idaho.

I got a copy of the book free. All opinions are my own.

You're Gonna Love Me is a story of reunification, acceptance, anguishment, bewilderment, chivalrousness, compassion gentleness and Faithfulness. Nick was in the right place at the right time to call 911 for gran - who was falling off her horse - who is gran you ask? Samantha's gran. Who is Samantha you may ask/ Well you ask good questions - she just happened to be Nicks ex girlfriend who - when they broke up went away - and now when gran got hurt she came back and ran into Nick - why did they break up you may ask? Well they broke it off because ................I cannot tell you that - that is t.m.f.i .- you have to read the book to find out that and believe you me that is some good and well juicy gossip information that you need to know - I was shocked to find out what happened - It is good and it is bad - and I mean bad - It is a serious situation that happened that caused the break up - it is worth that just to find out what happened. I received a copy of this book from the Publisher and Netgalley; all the opinions expressed in this review are all my own.

A heart warming love story.

Samantha seems to be a loving, caring kind of person. It is so hard to watch her struggle with her faith. She clings to fear as though that is what sustains her instead of God. Everything has a place and everything has to stay in that place or it sets off alarms in her soul. She is so fearful of the 'what if's' that she isn't living the life God intends her to have.

Nick is so broken by his accident that he is afraid to give love a chance. He feels like he isn't a whole man any longer, that it's not fair to ask Samantha for a second chance when he's not sure if he can be there for her.

The main characters are well developed and likable. The secondary characters are awesome. Idaho sounds like a beautiful place and Thunder Creek is the ideal small town.

I enjoyed this book so much.

If you like a clean, heart warming  romance, this is a book you will like.

LITERALLY MY FAVORITE BOOK IVE EVER READ

Loved the love story and how they connected God into the entire book without being cheesy.

The two main characters are exes that had a rough break up. They reconnect back in the girl’s home town where they fall in love again!! Ugh who’s surprised not me but I love it!

Also love that the man loves the girl harder than she loves him and he has to wait for her to say yes to him. Bring back yearning and this book definitely did!

The only thing that didn’t sit right with me is they didn’t really date the second time they just went right into being engaged. Which honestly is pretty realistic with Christian couples so I can’t be too mad.

Overall great book and will be recommending to everyone I know! Also will be saying this for when I am asked my favorite book.

Sam is going home...for a short time.

When her Grandmother accidently falls off her horse, Sam races back home to take care of her...and get away from her boss. But she never would have imagined running into Nick again. The last thing she remembered about Nick was that he cared too much about his adventures than her and in the end, that broke her heart.

Nick remembers being a jerk to Samantha. Letting her go for the sake of adventure was the dumbest thing he ever did. But things are different now. Having suffered a head injury on one of his adventures, Nick is done with the adrenaline junkie life...for good. Now if he could only get Sam to see that. Now that she's back in his life, maybe he could have a second chance with her.

This book was good. A little slow at the beginning but the ending made it all worthwhile. I enjoyed this book but only gave it three stars.

This book is appropriate for all readers.

The last person Samantha Winters expects to come across in her grandmother’s Idaho hospital room is Nick Chastain. They’d ended on bad terms, and he’d ignored her since.

Both Sam and Nick must reconcile their pasts in order to look toward their futures. Nick must deal with the fact he has to give up the adrenaline-inducing activities he once loved. Sam has to decide if she’ll continue to allow the tentacles of fear to suffocate her.

With plenty of help from the lovable citizens of Thunder Creek, will these two find the happiness they once gave up on?

Vivid scenery, memorable characters, and a reminder that God is always in control make You’ll Think of Me another read from Robin Lee Hatcher to add to your Christmas wish list.
