Detective Edward Petrosky has always felt the pain of the world like a razor blade in his gut, even more so when he considers the killers who have escaped conviction. But he can't let that stop him, not after a grandmother is found murdered on her front lawn, the victim of some machete-wielding psycho.
The case is strange from the outset: no one heard a thing despite the public nature of the crime. An unknown child's footprints cover the property without a trace of the kid. And a grisly discovery in the basement has the entire police force stunned. Nothing makes sense. Whatever secrets their victim had, she'd taken them, quietly, to her grave.
But when another woman's corpse turns up with a familiar brand on her ribcage, Petrosky realizes the horrible truth: a killer he'd thought was long gone from Ash Park has remained, lurking in their midst. And who knows how many victims this butcher has collected? For those he's kidnapped, any day might be their last, imprisoned, unseen, with only their screams and a deranged lunatic for company.
Now Petrosky must risk everything he holds sacred to track the most sadistic killer Ash Park has ever seen, a man whose thirst for carnage extends far beyond mere bloodletting. But saving innocent lives will require an unbearable sacrifice.

Absolutely amazing! I feel like the brutal murder of my favourite character was tad bit unnecessary but it definitely added to the suspense of the book and not being able to put it down
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Hidden is the fourth book in the gripping Ash Park Series by Meghan O’Flynn. This story has just taken this series to a whole new level of intensity. I am so impressed with Ms. O’Flynn’s ability to spin an intense thriller- her stories just get better and better as the series evolves. The amount of tension, suspense, and clever twists that she is able to instill into her story makes for excellent and mind-blowing reading. I picked up this book as soon as I had finished book #3 and didn’t come up for air until I had read every word. I was glued to the pages from beginning to end and absolutely loved every mind twisting minute. This book could be read as a standalone, if you wanted to, but there is a recurring cast of characters and snippets of backstory and other information that pops up in this book- so reading all the books would give you a much bigger picture and provide a greater perspective- which will give you an even better reading experience. All the books are fantastic, intriguing and suspenseful, so you really have nothing to lose! Detective Petrosky has been a favourite character of mine throughout the series so far, and knowing a little of what he’d been through made him so much more realistic and relatable. I felt for him and hoped he’d find some peace and resolution from the heart crushing event that haunted him. All through this series I’ve wanted to delve into his story a little more, and in this book, I got way more than I bargained for. I wanted to run, look away, hide my kindle and not read any further at times because it was quite dark and harrowing - but at the same time the gripping nature of the story, and the superb characters had me needing to know what happens- and so I read on, my eyes glued to every word. There were shocks, surprising developments and some clever scene setting by Ms. O’Flynn, that really amped up the intrigue, shock and awe. This investigation had Petrosky risking everything with this ‘latest’ case. All I could do was hang on to the edge of my seat as I was swept along for the ride. I finished reading this book A while ago now, and I keep thinking about it still. I am wondering what the next book has in store for me? Brilliant!
Stupefying! Disturbing! Utterly mind-blowing! These are the words that are swirling over and over, amongst others, in my mind as I sit here and try to put into words my thoughts on this fourth book of the Ash Park series from Meghan O’ Flynn, Hidden. I struggle because every time I finish one of these it is literally better than the last, and every one I have left a five star review, wishing I could leave more stars. I can’t say that I wish this was something that I would want to live because well, creepy and gory and plain terrifying… but, this would make a killer horror movie anthology! These novels have everything you could ever want in a psychological thriller. It sticks with you well after you finish the last page and haunts your dreams well into the night. I think it is with this book that Meghan O’ Flynn just became my all-time favorite one-click author, and I will legit cry tears when this series wraps up. These books will grace my bookshelves as soon as possible not just live in my kindle. I can’t find enough good things to say about them.
With that said, this books antagonist, or murderer really tops the cake. The vengeance is real, and the desire for madness and blood is shuddersome. A gruesome murder of an innocent grandma brings an old killer back on the scene of Ash Park. The one that got away has apparently never really left them, instead hiding in plain sight amongst them. Detective Petrosky will stop at nothing to stop him, including risking all that he loves and cares about. Will it be enough? Once again, there are multiple layers to the story, many pieces of the puzzle that will all eventually fall perfectly into place into one complete picture that could not be predicted by the most experienced of readers! I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book! Thank you so much Meghan O’ Flynn for the fantastic new addition to the Ash Park series!
Hidden (Ash Park #4) by Meghan O'Flynn was another dark, gritty, tale that will give me nightmares.
The fourth book in the Ash Park series, and I didn't think it could get any more, sinnister. Taking place two years after Repressed, an old foe has reservice, or rather, got sloppy and is once again on Petrosky's and Morrison's radar. This time the stress, guilt, and addiction is taking its toll on Petrosky, will this be his last case, or simply be his last....?
There is only so much the mind can take, and I will tell you that binge-reading this series has put me on the darker side of humanity. As much as I love this series, I found myself putting this book down, to regroup, look at kittens, before I could continue on. They say real life is stranger than fiction, well then you haven't read anything from Meghan O'Flynn yet. This book is up there with some of the darkest of Criminal Minds episodes; and frankly, this whole series would make one hell of a TV series, or movie collection.
Meghan O'Flynn again has captured me with superb writing, and the ability to keep the tension, and suspense high with every word that is written. And not just around the killer, but around Petrosky. His mind has always been in a dark place because of his daughters gruesome death, but in this book, he's on the edge. Every victim is her, every missing girl is her, every little girl/child he can't save is her. That subplot got me hard in the feels, I know what it's like to lose a family member to murder, it's a pain that never heals. Petrosky, as a parent, won't let himself heal, and that's driving him to be self-destructive and losing his fight to be apart of the world. This book is a hard raw emotional read, that rips out your heart, stomps on it, only to repeat the process over and over.
Overall I give this book and series my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval. It's one for the ages, and one that will leave you wondering why cops do what they do, and if you should be locking your family up and throwing away the key.
Hidden: An Ash Park Novel (Volume 4) By: Meghan O’Flynn 5 out of 5 stars
The story Hidden: An Ash Park Novel (Volume 4) by Meghan O’Flynn is the next thrilling story in a series that hooked me in from the first book. This story draws you in from the very beginning and you won’t want to put it down until you have finished the last page. There are mysteries to be solved and I felt just like I was putting together a puzzle to find out the entire picture of what is going on. It had me on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next and if all the questions raised would be answered. One of the stories main characters and one that I enjoyed reading about, is Detective Edward Petrosky. Petrosky is a man that is haunted by the thought of the killers that have escaped conviction. He is affected by these thoughts and he doesn’t always use the best or wisest methods to cope. Petrosky knows that the current case that he is working on is strange and there are many questions that need to be answered. When Petrosky realizes that a killer he thought was gone is still in Ash Park he knows that he has to be tracked down and stopped. Petrosky is a man that feels the burden of guilt and grief. Will he be able to stop an evil/sadistic killer before another victim is claimed? Read this book to find out. I felt empathy for Petrosky as he is someone that believes that he has failed those he cares for. While he can be sarcastic at times or just plain cranky, he is trying to cope with pain that for him never goes away. It is also enjoyable to read about the characters that care about Petrosky. They are ones that he can always depend on even when he finds his life off track or tumbling downward. There are moments in this book that are intense and suspenseful. I had to remind myself to breathe. It also had my emotions going up and down like a rollercoaster. This is a book I would highly recommend reading. I can’t wait to read the next story in the series.

WOW…..
OMG what a book...This is my second story by this author and it was AMAZING!! I don't know why I started with the 4th book in this series, its a mystery I'll never understand but one that I will fix as soon as possible. I wish I'd have read the others but it did not take away at all from this story, I was never lost and enjoyed every single word and that ending…. Yea will be reading the next one as quick as I can get my hands on it, then I'll go back to Book 1 and start all over lol
I literally could see every scene happening, some of them of course gave me chills and I wish I couldn't see it but this no doubt could be on a big screen. I literally could see this being made into a motion picture and would be surprised if the author has not heard that before.
The flow was simply perfect and every word relevant and Im not going into any details because it will ruin it for anyone else that wants to pick this book up...I will say that I loved loved loved Petrosky, he was literally a jerk through most of the story but the kind of jerk you can't help but love.
I can not wait to read the next, and I can not wait to read more of this author's work..The first book I read by her was more of a horror story and although this book had a lot of horrible things in it, it is now on my list as one of the best written books I've read this year.
There are some big name authors out there that have major best selling books in this genre and yes I've enjoyed those as well...But they have nothing on the writing talent of this author.
Hidden by Meghan O’Flynn is the forth book in her Ash Park Series and this one kicks the series into a whole new level of sinister. Hidden takes place two years after Repressed and an old foe has resurfaced. When they fall into Petrosky and Morrison’s radar, but the stress of addiction, stress and guilt is weighing heavily on Petrosky. Could this be the end of the line for him? Will Morrison be able to save her partner or will this be Petrosky’s last case? This twists and turns in this book, and this series as well, will keep you on the edge of your seat from page one until the end. The personal tone to this book, compared to that of the other books was a nice change of pace. Getting to see the facets of each of the cahracters as they evolved really made this a great read for all of the series. Hidden will take you on a long emotional ride that is guaranteed to leave you more than a little raw as it stomps on your heart and then tries to piece it together just to go through the process again. O’Flynn does it again. While I felt like I needed to slow down on reading this book, I still couldn’t seem to put it down. This book will make you want to leave the lights on, and watch for what goes bump in the night. This book gets my highest of high ratings, I completely recommend reading this book in series order as the characters growth from book one until now really made this an excellent read and one that I can’t wait to dive into time and again. I can’t wait to see where O’Flynn takes us from here!
Meghan O'Flynn has done it again. This story continues the lives of two detectives and a attorney. Petrosky is an addict and some habits are harder to kick than most. I felt so bad for him through most of the books. But I also think he gave up too quickly. I have always felt that you can’t do something for yourself because of someone else. If you want to change it has to be because you felt something that made you want to be and do better. People might hold you to this place but your will to be here is what keeps you going every day. The author gave me chills with this one. I don’t understand how the author sleeps with these stories floating in her head. I’m off to watch a Disney movie after finishing this story. The kill blended in so well that it makes you want to question every stranger around you. The killers background shapes him to be this way and it’s a sad life kids have to live when they suffer at the hands of the ones who are suppose to love and protect you. I might be repeating myself but I will at it just in case I haven’t. This author could be on the same level as Stephen King. Every time I open his book I’m left looking over my shoulder and jumping at shadows. This author does that to me as well. I can’t believe how good this series has been so far. Murder, abduction, mystery and addiction from chapter to chapter you are spellbound into a world that compels you to keep going. Even when your scared.
Hidden(Ash Park #4) By Meghan O’Flynn Rated 5 stars
When I started reading this it felt like coming home...back to where I am familiar. I get to hang out with Shannon, Morrison and Petrosky. The two cops have a great friendship and wit about them. They are enjoyable to read. I love their camaraderie with each other. Add Shannon in and they are an unstoppable team. Then after reading I couldn’t stop the OMG that kept coming to my head. This book.......Dang! It’s a tough read! So many emotions......mostly anger and devastation mixed in with WHY??....and WHAT?.....along with a smidge of humor and don’t forget the tears. This book deals with many of the demons that live within Petrosky as well as the evilness that his job enlists him to do. This is a stubborn case that in the past has affected all three of the main characters. Many of the secondary characters discussed were in the previous books. So while you could probably get by without reading the first 3 stories I would recommend reading them to get insight into the main characters. Building relationships takes time and investment. These main characters have done that through the last three books and they continue in this one. That being said....I’m not sure how I’m going to read the last book.....Everything is changing.
Simply Amazing! Meghan O’Flynn has done it again and has done it better with Hidden, Book 4 in the Ash Park Series. This series just keeps getting better and better. This book follows Detective Petrosky and Detective Morrison try and find a serial killer that has come back to Ash Park. They let him get away once and they are determined to put this guy away for good! Not only do we follow them in their work lives but we delve deeper into their personal lives as well. I’m not going to lie and say this one isn’t a hard one to read, but it is. That being said, this book takes you on a serious emotional roller coaster and you will definitely need to pull the tissues out for this one! You are either cheering or encouraging one or more characters and at the same time you want a couple of characters to seriously be destroyed! LOL Like I said…EMOTIONAL ROLLER COASTER! Either way, I loved this book and loved the characters in this book. The author is so good at pulling you in and making you feel like you are a part of the story that by the time you come to…you are finished with the book! Ms. O’Flynn has become one of my new favorite authors because of this series and I’m truly honored to have found her and her wonderful stories. I’m excited to see what she has in store for us in the next and final book in the series! I hope she can top this book!
Meghan O’Flynns, Hidden is book four in the in Ash Park Novel Series. AND this BOOK gutted ME!!! I have read each book in this series and this one was vivid, hard, amazing, and gripped me in ways that I never thought a book could. I have spent so much time in Ash Park and this just shocked me. Meghan truly has created such an amazing book, world, characters that captured my mind and my heart. I truly did NOT put this BOOK down!!! I love a book that lets me feel the emotions the characters are, I love to be able to close my eyes and picture what they are going through and that is WHY I LOVE this series, book, and the author. Her writing style is simply perfection. Detective Edward Petrosky serves and protects Ash Park, and he refuses to let a killer continue his carnage on his town. A grandmother killed on her front lawn, a finding in the basement that shocks everyone, a clues that show a child was there but no trace of this child. Then another killing and this shows the killer they all thought was gone, IS NOT and the killer is on the loose in Ash Park! Edward will do anything to find this kidnapper and killer, but the question will remain, how much he will have to scarafice to stop the madness.
5 Star Hidden: An Ash Park Novel ( Volume 4) By Meghan O'Flynn is the fourth book in her Ash Park series and holy cow,I already loved not only this series but this author and then she comes out with this. This book blew me away and definitely has become my favorite from this series so far.I love her writing style and how it just grabs you and doesn't let go till the end. Even then I’m still thinking about everything that just happened. There's some twists and turns that will have you on the edge of your seat trying to figure out what happens next. This book has a bit of everything, suspense, mystery.Detective Petrosky is my favorite character, he feels the weight of every single one of his cases. Some they win some they don't but he feels the weight all the same. When a body turns up on a front lawn he knows he has to catch the killer. But as the investigation continues the more unusual it becomes. Then another body turns up and Detective Petrosky is very aware of who is committing the crimes. He thought this person was long gone but he was wrong. Find out what happens next, I highly recommend reading this Book. I can't wait to dive into Redemption.
Hidden: An Ash Park Novel, Volume 4 by Meghan O’Flynn 4 out of 5 stars This Author is a best seller for a reason. Everything she writes is gold. Detective Edward Petrosky carries the pain of the world on his shoulders. This is very true when he is handed his new case of murder of a grandmother, dead on her front lawn. Creepy as that is, Petrosky has his own issues with it, such as why did no one hear her scream? Why are there children’s footprints outside where there are no kids around?.....what the heck is that in the basement?? This poor grandma took all of her secrets to her grave and someone wanted her to take them with her violently. When bodies start to pile up and Petrosky recognizes the fashion in which they are murdered, he starts to panic that a deranged killer is back on the loose and is ready for more blood. This 4th book in this series had my heart pounding. I could not catch my breath. Ms O’Flynn is a fantastic story teller and can bring to life such detail and you do no lack for anything. Most definitely an 18+ for the strong language and violence. Highly recommended
Hidden is the fourth book in Meghan O’Flynn’s Ash Park series. It is not my first encounter with the writer but it was my first read of the series and what a read it was! Do NOT read it late in the evening if you do plan to sleep … I faced a sleepless night haunted by the images my brain came up with when reading the book … oh my goodness! Everyone told me that you can read this story as a standalone and yes, you can BUT I felt so often that I didn’t get all the nuances because I had not read the first 3 books and did not know who was new and who was recurring and the whole backstory so … now I am stuck … meaning I will need to pick up the first 3 books before going for the last one in the series! Detective Petrosky is NOT letting me go … I am still haunted by his pain, his loss, his guilt, his grief … This story reminded me an extended version of Criminal Minds episode … the gore, the twistiness of the monster, the puzzle that needs to have all the pieces on place to relieve the big picture … I have no words but “pick up a copy and read it over the weekend”. The Ash Park series will be haunting me for some time …
Just when you think this series can’t get any better out comes book 4 and Ms O’Flynn takes the series to a whole new level. I have to say this has got to be my favourite from the series so far. The writing again was amazing dragging me into the story from the very first page. So whilst I think it would be perfectly fine to read this book as a standalone I would highly recommend the rest of the series too. I liked Detective Petrosky in the previous books so I was really looking forward to getting more from him in this one and he didn’t disappoint at all! Again the story was quite dark, very gritty but I have come to expect this from the series and although not always my kind of thing it has made for a very exciting read. The authors writing is very detailed so you can easily imagine what you’re reading, which at times is a little much but I still really enjoyed the story. She definitely knows how to keep me on the edge of my seat that’s for sure! I am really looking forward to the next book in the series!!
Hidden An Ash Park Novel Book 4 By Meghan O’Flynn ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ A suspense thriller at it's best. Such a rollercoaster of a read. This Novel could be a standalone, but I have enjoyed this series. So I suggest you read the series. You will be happy you did.
Detective Petrosky takes on the worst case ever. Missing girls and and an escaped murderer. He has lost his daughter, and the guilty got away. Now the hunt is on! Petrosky and his partner Detective Morrison, must stop this psycho before he kidnaps and kills again.
Meghan O'Flynn’s story will keep you locked into this book. It has all the feels and takes you into this unforgettable thriller. One you will not take lightly. I have never been so scared reading a book. This one got me! To scared to read, and scared not to finish. I love a good mystery, and this has it all. Ash Park will forever be unforgettable. She has included some powerful characters. Boy I can't wait to see where Meghan O'Flynn takes Ash Park next. Not for those under 18 due to adult content and violence.
Where to start, oh where to start. This series has taken me on a wild ride with my emotions, my mind, and my surroundings. Meghan O’Flynn is a master mind. It still amazes me how someone could write such a series of sinister psychological story and still be able to sleep at night. Her characters are amazing and yet complex. This story made me be grateful for my family but also fear what is happening to my daughters while they are not with me. Just when Detective Petrosky thought it was going to be quiet and a little peaceful the Ash Park killer is back. We saw a little of Detective Petrosky’s history in the previous volumes, but it was only bits and pieces. This story can be a stand-alone book, but with little tibbits here and there it would be helpful. Detective Petrosky has a dark part in his mind with the gruesome murder of his own daughter that when there is another girl gone missing, he has a heavy heart and fears the unknown. Will Detective Petrosky find the killer? Will he be able to move on? Only time can tell.
Hidden is the fourth volume in Meghan O’Flynn’s Ash Park series. The story is gripping, and will have you staying up all night with paranoia. The book is intense and not for the fainthearted, as it pulls you in to a haunting tale of mystery and murder. Just when you thought it was safe to go outside, this book sends you ducking back under the covers, and thinking everyone is a killer. I immensely enjoyed this book, as it can be read as a standalone, though you don’t quite get the full picture, and miss out on small things. But the book is so well done, that you can just pick it up and go. I absolutely adored Ms. O’Flynn’s lyrical writing, and the way she paints a scene in your head; making sure to not leave out any gory details. I found myself completely absorbed in this book, and unable to look away from the horrors that were depicted before me. I really enjoyed this story and want to go back and read all the others, and pick up all the small details. This book is masterfully written and is a solid 5/5 stars.
Each novel in the Ash Park series just gets creepier and creepier. This one is sick and twisted. This book isn’t for the faint of heart. Hidden starts off with a murder just like the rest of the series. But that basement…man, why are basements so creepy? The killers in each of these stories are so messed up.
Hidden is book 4 and is part of a series that really should be read in order. The main characters, Detectives Morrison and Petrosky, are hard at work trying to make Ash Park a safer place. But evil ranks high here. And it seems as if its an evil they already know. References are made to situations from the first three books so if you haven’t read the first ones you will be wondering about certain things. This series is so worth the time.
O’Flynn’s writing makes my heart pound and my breath short! Her stories also make me hug my loved ones a little extra after every chapter! I would recommend this book, this author and this series to the reader that likes gore, mystery, and heartache. This is not a fairytale with rainbows and unicorns. No sparkly sunshines here.
I hate giving new releases a 5 star rating because reviewers tend to ignore them but this can't be rated as otherwise. This story is intense. This writer takes you on the dark journey of a cop tortured by the past and doomed in the present as he deals with a vicious killer. The cruelness inflicted on the victims and the agony of the people who loved them is delivered and relayed in scenes in gruesome clarity. This writer provides such detail you are transported into the story in all of the horrid gory details. Your emotions will be stretched and your reality twisted.
You want to feel sorry for the Detective, I mean he is a cantankerous old fart but it isn't pity he needs it's the end he craves. This story is darker and far more unsettling in its detail than the previous books. You can't read it in a sitting you have to step away from the darkness, the pain, the ugliness. Will anyone save them or will they all die trying. Amazing, simply amazing.
Hidden: An Ash Park Novel (Volume 4) by Meghan O'Flynn is just ohmygod, ohmygod, OMG. Wow this book in the series had me constantly in a state of hyper awareness every single step of the way, page after page after page, right until the very end. I was so engrossed in the story to the point when reading at work, I jumped, screamed and clawed the roof when a colleague came to ask me something. I also bawled my eyes out at one point that I so did not see coming. It is a safe bet to say that emotions run high and all over the place when you read this one, especially when something happens to one of my favourite characters, OMG I was speechless, stunned, no this could not be happening and finally I was heartbroken. Meghan has now been officially added to my fav author list. Her wordsmithing is outstanding and she paints a picture so vivid you are right there with the characters. Another fantastic story.
This series seems to get darker and darker. I once again found myself drawn into the world created by the author. I again took the journey out of my comfort genre to the dark and thrilling adventures of the police of Ash Park. The author has a very unique and chilling writing style.
I really found myself drawn to Petrosky and also feeling just a bit sorry for him. He seems to be on a bit of a self destruct mode and you just really find yourself routing for him. As the case draws on you find that the ghosts of his past really do impact the way he is in the present. I could feel the emotions coming off the pages. As I was glad that the case in the book was brought to an end I found myself really feelling so much concern for Petrosky. The author leaves us on a cliffhanger and that just makes you hunger for what is to come. I will be on tenter hooks waiting for the next book in this series.
Hidden by Meghan O’Flynn is a truly haunting read, it’s a crime story not for the faint of heart. It’s dark, suspenseful, evil, twisted and so detailed that I had to take a few breaks while reading as some scenes were just too much to bear. This was by far the most emotional read of the Ash Park series for me, it was like I was on a roller coaster ride of emotions, from shock, awe, anger and to feeling a profound sense of loss when I reached the end.
As I have read the previous books in this series I can honestly recommend reading this series in order, this way you can fully appreciate the characters and storyline along with Meghan’s incredible writing style. I can’t wait to jump right in to the next book of the series as these characters have captivated me time and time again.
I would absolutely recommend this book and series to anyone looking for their next one of a kind crime read that will leave a lasting impression.
Hidden was a great 5 star read and book 4 in the Ash Park series. Meghan continues to pull me right in with her writing and I didn’t want to stop until I was done. There is all sorts of dark going on in this great series and Hidden continues to add even more.
Petrosky is working on a brutal murder case of a grandmother. When he discovers that a killer from the past is back he is determined to stop him. I was trying to figure things out right from the beginning and flying threw the pages to see what was coming next.
Will he be able solve the murder before anyone else becomes a victim?
There is so much more to this great read. All of the secondary characters added a great element to the story. If your looking for a great read with unexpected twists and turns with murder, mystery, suspense and so much more than 1-click and get started today. I’m super excited to get my hands on the next book in the series.
I rarely give this many novels out of a single series 5 stars, but DAYUM. These just keep getting better and better. It's like Jo Nesbo and Tana French had a love child named Meghan O'Flynn. Smart plot...trust me, you won't figure anything out. Characters you know like the back of your hand and who you will become very attached to. I'll be honest, some parts were a little hard to read - the plot goes to some pretty dark, demented places - but the story and the writing won't let you look away from it. You will sit right there, glued to your seat, and keep reading to see what happens because that's what good books do. I won't mention any spoilers, but let's just say my jaw hit the floor and I was absolutely gutted by a surprise twist! And the ending??? WTH? An absolute knuckle-biter. Well done. Will be waiting (im)patiently for O'Flynn's next book......
Hidden by Meghan O’Flynn is the fourth book in her Ash Park series. This is a gripping series that will have you utterly hooked. Detective Edward Petrosky feels the weight of every single case. The ones they win and the ones they don’t. So when a body turns up on a front lawn of a house he knows that he has to catch this killer. But the more the investigation goes on the more unusual it becomes. And when a second body turns up Edward is suddenly very aware of he fact that he knows who is committing the crimes - a killer he thought long gone from Ash Park. And it is only a matter of time before the killer strikes again. Like the other books this book will grab your attention from he start. There are plenty of twists and turns to keep you reading and to keep you guessing throughout. The author really knows how to take you in a journey with her characters. Another great book.
Hidden is the fourth book in the Ash Park series by Meghan O’Flynn. This series keeps getting better and better. I think Hidden is my favorite in the series so far, but all of the books are wonderfully thrilling and horribly bone chilling. This story outdoor be read as a standalone, but there are recurring characters throughout the series and all the books are great reads. This book and series is full graphic details and gritty suspenseful twists and turns that lean toward terrifying, so this may not be the book for some. This series is really hard to review because I don’t want to give anything away, so I will just say if you love books that get into the minds of killers then this is the book for you. I can’t wait to read book five in this series and hope Ms. O’Flynn continues with this series.
Hidden an Ash Park Novel by Meghan O’Flynn is a five star novel. This is the fourth novel in the series and they just keep getting better and better. Like to be scared? Then this is the book for you. The first introduction to this book is inside the head of a killer. The way she was able to write from this deep, dark, mysterious perspective is frightening. I didn’t know at first if I was going to be able to continue reading, but after pushing forward, I am glad I did. Just like the other Ash Park novels, this one does not disappoint. It is full of intrigue, mystery, frightening murders and plenty of work on the relationships of the three main characters. Once I got past the prologue, I couldn’t put it down!
Hidden: An Ash Park Novel (Volume 4) by Meghan O'Flynn. I LOVE this series. They are creepy, messy and just a little crazy. Edward Petrosky is a detective who lives his job on his heart and in his head. He feels like he's not done his job every time he thinks a killer gets away. During a new case, a grandmother is found on her lawn murdered. There are some child's footsteps all around but no trace of the kid. Then when another woman is found murdered with the same brand on her Ed begins to thinks a killer he chased before is back on the prowl. Ed must up his game to catch this killer before he kills again and how many has he killed so far? These books suck you in and you won't want to put them down so be prepared! Also you might not want to read them after dark !
I absolutely love that every book in this series gets better and better. I was most certainly not disappointed with Hidden by Meghan O’Flynn. And if I could really say what I want to say, you’d have to cover your ears.
The simple fact that as a reader you can experience every single detail that is described in this book is mind blowing, literally. The author completely excels at her craft and can creep you out. I sat on the edge of my seat trying to figure this one out. I obviously went in blind, even though I read the previous books, and am so glad that I did. The fact that her character development is on par with the world building, is what makes me love her work. Seriously, this I consider another 5 Star Book! I love everything about it.
