This one hasn't really aged well. A lot of the info is dated like an old almanac: Something for the free box at the rummage sale. Too many things are not surprising as they are not treated per capita, so large states like California have the most of such-and-such, etc. Elsewhere there seems to be an overreliance on counting mentions in databases of publications which does not feel insightful.

It was an interesting summary - but probably better read back in the 1990s.
