I wanted it to be better

The first half of this book was paced excellently, but it all felt rushed and a bit disjointed in the end. I didn't like how nothing really felt resolved at the end - what happened with the coven? did the pack accept the mating? what was the significance of the cougar shifter?

Overall, I think that this had more promise than the execution provided.
