I am on a bit of a foreign language reader kick. This one does a few things I like: 1) stories are very short, making them easy to digest, and the variety, from sci-fi to African folktale, is welcome for the sake of maintaining interest as well as offering a variety of stylistic examples. 2) the English/Spanish translations come after the Esperanto text. I find that when readers do line-by-line translations, it's tempting to just rely on the translation and not actually practice the foreign language. 3) the difficulty. Having completed the lernu! modules or even the Duolingo course will make the stories quite easy, but they are far from impenetrable even for beginners with only the basics. 4) This is an Esperanto-specific one, but the stories do a great job of modeling higher level word building, especially using affixes, forcing readers to really apply what they know about word construction to understand words that won't appear in a dictionary.

Good place to start if you want to read in Esperanto but aren't ready for the high literature translations that make up a big chunk of the reading material in Esperanto.

Tiu libro estis bonega! Mi ne havas nivelon A2 ankoraŭ kaj mi povis kompreni bone (per vortaro por helpi min). La unuaj rakontoj estas por komencantoj kaj ili estas amuzaj. En mia versio, mi ricevis pli du rakontojn (nivelo pli alta, sed komprenebla per vortaro ankaŭ).

An easy esperanto reader

It's an easy esperanto reader, as the title of the book says. Unfortunately kindle doesn't have a built in esperanto dictionary nor can it translate it. But this book also has the stories in spanish and english so you can check one or the other to figure out the words you don't know.

I suspect there are a few minor errors in the esperanto, but I can't prove it cause I'm just a beginner.
