My husband and I just finished reading this book together and can't wait until part 8 comes out. As the chronicles continue Trevn has to figure out how to be king to a people that doesn't know if they want him king. He is also trying to get his kingdom ready for war as King Barthel is gaining allies. The stage is being set and Arman is readying his key players for what is next. I both love and hate how the plot is unpredictable. Some characters I love and look forward to reading their sections. While other characters I would rather my husband read aloud their sections even though those characters also make the book what it needs to be. Those things make a great combination for a good book.
This is the newest installment of the Kinsman Chronicles and it is an amazing story. Full of surprises and suspense, intrigue and shady characters, this book keeps you engaged and wanting more. This is fast read that leaves you longing for more. I can't wait to see what comes next.
Man, don't you just hate when you forget you are only reading part one of a book and you're really into it and it ends?!?! Waaa! Can't wait for part two! Love this series!!!
