The climate change apocalypse arrived in the form of thick clouds encompassing the earth. A century of ceaseless rain, oppressive heat, and unending darkness has taken humanity to the brink. Humans cling together with hopes of outlasting the clouds and seeing the sun again, but as their numbers dwindle, so does their humanity.
Brad Manuel lives in Raleigh, NC with his wife and two sons. His road to publishing has been a long and winding one, but like all journeys, the trek has been just as much fun as the destination. The joy of the girl and the light she generated was carried through the whole story. Finding her man made the story joyful. They made their lives together with the knowledge that the only thing they had was each other. The society had only its existence.
