This is a tale about people regaining their humanity after decades of only surviving.

Decades ago , humanity last saw the sun. Now there is only a cloudy half darkness that is saturated with rain and the air is cloaked in humidity. Only a few thousand people survive in this wet hell, living like a colony of ants. One young woman sees beyond the darkness and has a spark of hope. Will the sun ever shine again and can humanity ever become human again?

The love of two people shines through

The joy of the girl and the light she generated was carried through the whole story. Finding her man made the story joyful. They made their lives together with the knowledge that the only thing they had was each other. The society had only its existence.

Easy read

Easy read hard to put down. I wish the book went further as I did not like the ending. It just left me hanging.
