Lust Abroad: Awe, Derrick and Piper... I love them!!! My heart really felt for these two as they went along their adventurous journey. I have never been to Peru, but I could see this beautiful place with Whitley Cox's descriptive views!

This one was just a glimpse of new characters by Liz Gavin. This time they are different - older (around 40 years old), but they are still sensual and full. Thi time Liz Gavin provided us a very deep story about love that survived fifteen years - but is that right?

Lust Abroad Whitley Cox :
Whitley does it again. I am never disappointed and this story of Piper and Derricks "adventures" is a keeper! The fun they have in and out of hostels. The drama they are entangled in. The transformation that occurs to both characters, and the love. I can't say enough about this story it's an action love story that draws you in immediately. Travel has a whole new meaning now. I feel like I have been to Peru and seen where they have been thanks to Whitley.

Whitley this is another 5 star read! I loved Derrick, he was somewhat a nerd but also one sexy dom but not hard core which was a nice change. Piper was such a good match for him. I adored them together. She could definitely hold her own and I admire her for that.

Hot indeed!
I haven’t read the whole boxed set yet, only Hotter in Hawaii by Alexis Alvarez. But I will definitely be finishing them all if this is any indication of the heat level.
Nobody brings the heat like Alexis Alvarez! There was just the right amount to perk up your taste buds but not burn your esophagus; such a delicious slow burn.
I finished this book feeling like I had gotten a thorough education on turbulence, relationships, art, kisses, life vs. work passions, and llamas. I loved the strong heroine, and the sexy smart hero; their conversations on life and love were so smart and funny! I loved these two, as well as all the colorful people they met on their journey to love. Very satisfying, with a great HEA!

Hotter In Hawaii by Alexis Alvarez
This story is quirky as hell!
Alexis Alvarez has a way to describe funny and hilarious situations, persons and moments that makes you giggle or laugh out loud, only to stop then and reflect it, to then recognize something deeper and beautiful behind the surface.
The story itself is created and described very well with lots of profound and philosophical talks but also with sizzling hot scenes.
Both characters, Harper and Zach, are very sympathetic and in some way eccentric personalities and you are immediately drawn into their story!
I really loved to read this novel!

Alexis takes us away to what we think will be a tropical getaway but ends up at a beautiful resort in Arizona that leaves us hot for more reasons than one and with a desire that can't be quenched! Harper and Zach know how to bring the heat from a slow simmer to a passion that is sure to boil over. Alexis Alvarez gives us the perfect blend of pent up “when are they are going to do it already” tension and “please, spank me some more” in Hotter in Hawaii to keep readers blushing and turning pages as fast as they can.
Harper Grainger is a woman who is a successful independent contractor who spends her time experiencing life behind a camera and sharing those photographs with the world. What she doesn't share in is the “free love” philosophy that a man she finds undeniably attractive does. Since the moment she was on a job with the delicious and flirty Zach Taylor months ago and something almost happened, he has been on her mind nonstop. I loved seeing life through Harper's camera and watching her interest for Zach grow and her opinion of him change.
Zach is a man who believes that there is nothing wrong with sharing pleasure and flirting with different women. That is until he meets and starts to fall for the gorgeous and introspective Harper that would rather hide behind a camera than interact with most people. Soon he finds himself wanting far more with Harper instead of engaging with the next available female. I didn't really care for Zach and whorish ways at first but I soon saw the man with many layers that was underneath and fell deeply in love with him as he grew and changed.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of Rider's Fall by Lena Bourne.
The Brazilian jungle is as hot and steamy as Rider and Chloe's passion. This is an intense love story where danger lurks beyond the orphanage's gate. Chloe is determined to keep the land that houses the twenty orphans in her care in spite of the cartel's attempts to take it away. Rider is the biker that Chloe runs into at a local bar and offers to help her with saving the orphanage's bungalows from flood waters. As they spend time together digging ditches to divert the water from the bungalows, their passion grows, feelings deepened and hopes rise. But, the cartel has other plans for the orphanage that puts everyone in danger.
This story's backdrop is a serious matter and it is lightened a bit by the simple joys Rider brings to the children. He's a muscled American tatooed biker who gives the children respect, talks to them with care and even gives them rides on his motorcycle. There is nothing sexier than a man with compassion and a big heart. No wonder Chloe falls for him!

Tropical Tryst a sun and fun filled four-star read. I would have loved to have given this a five-star rating as some of the stories were definite five-star reads, but there was a couple of stories that were less than amazing. I have picked my favourite stories, but I am sure you will find the same there will be some stories that will suck you in and some that will have you turning the pages before you have finished it, it may even be one of those I have loved. I won’t hold it against you, and I hope for the same, that’s the best thing about these types of books, with so many stories you will always find some you adore. In my situation, it ignited a passion in an author I had read previously and also showed me two other authors I haven’t read, but will be looking up their back catalouges now to see what they have written.
Two Reckless Hearts by Hollie Cortelyou is a great story, she writes characters in Jami and Beck that have a fierce professional rivalry but a personal connection neither realise, the struggle they face is real and very true. There was a great development of the characters and story. This is one of the authors I plan to pick up again.
Seal by Love by Sharon Hamilton is a great story, I love a good seal romance and this is a perfect example. Trace just wants to fit in, but he ends up with so much more. The setting in Hawaii is amazing, it makes you feel like you can taste the sunshine and sand. I could have easily read another couple hundred pages of this story it was so good. A new author to me I plan on finding more about.

A chance meeting between Derrick and Piper turns both of their worlds upside down. Meeting at an airport before their flight to Lima, Peru, Derrick and Piper feel an instant connection to one another. While visiting on the flight, they discover that they are staying at the same hostel with similar plans to visit the Machu Picchu, Inca ruins. But upon arriving at their hostel, everything is turned upside down. The pair encounter everything from robbery to corrupt police office and more on their weeklong adventure together.
Whitley Cox has wrote an amazing, fun filled, intruding, action packed, adventurous story. I couldn't put this page turner down and read it all in one sitting. I thoroughly enjoyed ever part of this book and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun read. It's absolutely a five star worthy tale!

This is a great read and I truly loved the characters.

A Major Affair by CJ Matthew
What happens when two people are sent to the same place for the same thing by two different corporations? Is spying and espionage their thing? Will they help each other out or keep secrets close to their hearts? What they find when they see things through each other’s eyes is much more than one can hope for. This is a great read and I truly loved the characters.
Brooklyn Winters by Karen M Bryson

I enjoyed the journey of Jami and Beck and the adventures everyone had on the beautiful romantic island. But what happens when chemistry gets in the way of a professional relationship? I also enjoyed the families and getting to know all the characters, you will definitely find this one making you smile.
His Diamond in the Rough by Roxy Sinclaire and Zara Zena
Eric has been burned pretty bad and doesn't trust anyone and seems to jump to conclusions without thinking it through. When Sam finds something that could change her life, her morals just won't let her do the unthinkable. Is Sam someone that Eric can trust or will he destroy the one thing that could change his mind and change his life.

This is one of my favourites in this anthology

FIVE STARS
Tropical Tryst Anthology is a conglomeration of 25 shortened stories with a mostly tropical setting. These books are all romantic in some way and there are all sorts. I will give brief reviews of all of the books that are included in this Anthology. I hope you will read them as I did and get a taste of the fresh air and sweet storys involved. I must say though some of them will suprise you with a wicked twist or a bit of suspense included. I was thoroughly entertained by this entire Anthology. I would recommend this anthology for mature audiences only due to the steamy sex scenes in the majority of the stories.

SEAL My Love -- Author: Sharon Hamilton
This book is about a Navy Seal who has just transfered to a different company and is going on his firsts vacation with the members of the company and their familys. As a newly divorced man, Trace, is looking forward to being able to mingle freely in Hawaii. However, once he lays his eyes on Gretchen, all thoughts of trying to find someone for a quick fling disappear. He has every desire to make Gretchen his.
Gretchen is a single mom of 3 daughters and she is on vacation to help her sister out with the baby on this trip. She never imagined she would meet the handsome Trace and want to get to know him even more. A phone call from her oldest daughter threatens to destroy the whole family. But having NAVY Seals with you when you receive the phone call helps steady your nerves. Can they get to Gretchens daughter in time? Will Trace and Gretchen be able to make things work between them with all that has happened?

Scarlett has decided that in order to do this and for people to take her seriously she needs to be married. So after a debate Scarlett and James agree to a temporary marriage.
Pretty good story line with a bit of a suspenseful twist. Who is trying to kill Scarlett? Will James be able to keep his promise to her brother and keep her safe?
This book has infedelity and attempted murder, love affairs and newly found siblings. For a short story it keeps you guessing.

Rider's Fall -- Author: Lena Bourne
After an exboyfriend posts a privately made sex tape, Chloe has been shunned by all of her friends, school, her father, everyone she knew. Now Chloe is in another country and trying to save an orphanage and the rain fall is threatening to destroy the whole village. The locals are not going to help because they fear the cartel who is trying to overtake the land the orphanage is on.
Rider hears of Chloe's needs and volunteers to help her out. Not being local he has no idea what it is that Chloe is up against or what she fears and dreads. Can Rider help Chloe with the problem of the rainfall washing away the bungalows? Can Rider help mend Chloe's broken, trampled heart?
This part is not for anyone under the age of 18. Mature readers only as this is full of very descriptive sex scenes.

For 2 weeks she will be working to help bring a five star hotel back to its glory. She has set a very strict schedule and she has not time for distractions. But will that stop her from enjoying the company of the hotel owner, Julian ?
Having spent the last year neglecting his responsibilities, Julian, has returned with his head hung in shame that he trusted something so important as his families business in the hands of a manager that has robbed them almost to bankrupcy. Can he fix things before it is too late? Will Samara be able fix what he has destroyed?
There are so many steamy scenes in this book. Fiona Miers has written a great book.

After a case of "mistaken identity" Brianna meets the island Dr. Matt Gaelen.
Matt has had a rough go with money hungry women who only want him for his status and money.
Brianna feels she isn't deserving of someone like Matt.
Will the attraction and feelings they have developed for one another be enough to get them through or will things fall apart when Brianna discovers what it is that Matt has been hiding from her?

Alpha Heat -- Author: Mandy Rosko
This story by Mandy Rosko was a suprise for me. I wasn't expecting to find a story with shifters in it and I have never read about shifters of this sort. Very good story with a great story line to it.
Andrea and Xander have chemistry that is undeniable and you can feel it as you read. There is so much that goes on in this that you just have to take my word for it and read it. I cannot talk about it without giving away the suprises.

Tristan -- Author: Liz Gavin
Tristan had his heart ripped out and handed to him 15 years ago and since then he is totally anti relationship/commitment. Finding the love of his life in an awkward sexual tryst with his mentor and friend, destroyed his beliefs in love.
This short story is definately not for anyone under the age of 18. Many sexual encounters are described in these pages. Tristan really has a way of getting around.
Now that Izzy is back in his life though, what happens next? Will he forgive her the lies that she told him all those years ago? Will he be able to help her with what she has come to him for?
Decent story line, this short story leaves you with many questions and leaves you wanting to know what happens next.

Desire a Bridesmaid -- Author: Courtney Hunt
Anna is headed to a luxury resort on her last job as a professional bridesmaid/wedding planner. A desination wedding in the Carribean. This is her last time being a bridesmaid and she will be moving on to starting her own interior design firm. She is ready and only took this job in the Carribean to help out her friend and boss.
Carter is hoping his newly designed wedding chapel will draw in the high price luxury destination wedding crowd. This is a concept he came up with all on his own and he is hoping it will take off and become a huge pay off so he can prove to his Grandfather that his is something he can do and do well.
When Carter and Anna are reunited 5 years after a one night stand that has stayed in both their minds all this time, will they rekindle what they had before? Will the sparks fly again for them?
This is a very sweet love story and you can't help but to cheer them on. Grandfather Oliver is a hoot too. You can't help but smile as his wittiness.

Finding Cory -- Author: Caitlyn Lynch
Leaving New York for Australia was hard enough but the first impression Olivia left with all of her new co-workers was totally embarrassing. But after she learned to laugh at herself she managed to make friends and even charm Cory.
Cory is a bit rough around the edges but Olivia is growing on him and she may be just the person to smooth those edges.
Caitlyn Lynch will make you laugh in this book. Very good read and its not very long so very easy to read in just a short while. Highly recommended.

Stacy-Deanne has given us a short story about murder and who done it. Kayla is trying to find who murdered her twin brother and so she has traveled to Jamaica to find his killer and bring them to justice.
The best way to do this is to team up with her brother's best friend Tate. The attraction between Kayla and Tate is undeniable.
Are things what they seem with Tate or is Tate hiding something? Will Kayla be able to find her brother's killer?

Opposites attract in most cases but in this book, the two leading characters are at the same place and same time with the same job to do for different companies.
DeAnna and Edmund are on "vacation" yet it is more of a working vacation and they had no idea they would find love on this trip. Neither of them have done this kind of thing before but who knows they may just get the information that is required, but at what cost? What else will they discover in their research?

Come along on Spring Break and get swept away in the story. Great writing. Well developed characters and a good story line.

Holly Cortelyou is a really good author and her story is full of biting remarks.

Eric Godfrey is a billionaire and a playboy of royal blood. Eric has lost something and he hasn't been able to find it. When he meets the woman who has found his lost item, Eric is intrigued however he doesn't trust her. He is very suspicious of poor people.
Samantha has found something and after much contemplation has turned it in and when she meets the rightful owner, the attraction is magnetic but can she trust him, after all he is very rich and she is not anywhere near his status.
Can they find a middle ground?

Will learning more about each other end it all or will it make them stronger?

Off Balance -- Author: Susan Ann Wall
A very fast paced read. Susan Ann Wall gets into this book and into the lives of Haven and Heather very quickly. Heather is at a loss as to what to do with her life. She can't seem to find a job that she enjoys.
Haven is attracted to Heather and he doesn't know why he can't just ask her out but it seems the fates are on his side. On a cruise he finds an unlikely roommate in a very small cabin. Can they make it seven days at sea?
Very cute and entertaining story.

JB Duvane is the author of Starry Nights and in this book we find that there is history between our two main characters and they are trying hard to fight the past and make new beginnings but sometimes you need to come to terms with the past in order to move on.
What one thinks the other is up to is not exactly correct and if they wont communicate about their actions or their feelings then how do they plan on accomplishing anything.
Great story and you cant put it down for wanting to know how it is going to end. Are they going to reconcile or are they going to let the past destroy everything?

Jan O'Hara has written a very good story about forgiveness and letting go.

Tropical Tryst Anthology is a conglomeration of 25 shortened stories with a mostly tropical setting. These books are all romantic in some way and there are all sorts. I will give brief reviews of all of the books that are included in this Anthology. I hope you will read them as I did and get a taste of the fresh air and sweet storys involved. I must say though some of them will suprise you with a wicked twist or a bit of suspense included. I was thoroughly entertained by this entire Anthology. I would recommend this anthology for mature audiences only due to the steamy sex scenes in the majority of the stories.

Pretty good story line with a bit of a suspenseful twist. Who is trying to kill Scarlett? Will James be able to keep his promise to her brother and keep her safe?
This book has infedelity and attempted murder, love affairs and newly found siblings. For a short story it keeps you guessing.

This part is not for anyone under the age of 18. Mature readers only as this is full of very descriptive sex scenes.

There are so many steamy scenes in this book. Fiona Miers has written a great book.

Alpha Heat -- Author: Mandy Rosko
This story by Mandy Rosko was a suprise for me. I wasn't expecting to find a story with shifters in it and I have never read about shifters of this sort. Very good story with a great story line to it.
Andrea and Xander have chemistry that is undeniable and you can feel it as you read. There is so much that goes on in this that you just have to take my word for it and read it. I cannot talk about it without giving away the suprises.

Tristan -- Author: Liz Gavin

This short story is definately not for anyone under the age of 18. Many sexual encounters are described in these pages. Tristan really has a way of getting around.
Now that Izzy is back in his life though, what happens next? Will he forgive her the lies that she told him all those years ago? Will he be able to help her with what she has come to him for?
Decent story line, this short story leaves you with many questions and leaves you wanting to know what happens next.

This is a concept he came up with all on his own and he is hoping it will take off and become a huge pay off so he can prove to his Grandfather that his is something he can do and do well.
When Carter and Anna are reunited 5 years after a one night stand that has stayed in both their minds all this time, will they rekindle what they had before? Will the sparks fly again for them?
This is a very sweet love story and you can't help but to cheer them on. Grandfather Oliver is a hoot too. You can't help but smile as his wittiness.

Finding Cory -- Author: Caitlyn Lynch
Leaving New York for Australia was hard enough but the first impression Olivia left with all of her new co-workers was totally embarrassing. But after she learned to laugh at herself she managed to make friends and even charm Cory.
Cory is a bit rough around the edges but Olivia is growing on him and she may be just the person to smooth those edges.
Caitlyn Lynch will make you laugh in this book. Very good read and its not very long so very easy to read in just a short while. Highly recommended.

A very fast paced read. Susan Ann Wall gets into this book and into the lives of Haven and Heather very quickly. Heather is at a loss as to what to do with her life. She can't seem to find a job that she enjoys.
Haven is attracted to Heather and he doesn't know why he can't just ask her out but it seems the fates are on his side. On a cruise he finds an unlikely roommate in a very small cabin. Can they make it seven days at sea?
Very cute and entertaining story.

What one thinks the other is up to is not exactly correct and if they wont communicate about their actions or their feelings then how do they plan on accomplishing anything.
Great story and you cant put it down for wanting to know how it is going to end. Are they going to reconcile or are they going to let the past destroy everything?

This is a fantastic collection of really great stories by a whole mix of authors, I am not a big fan of mixed author box sets but I am glad I decided to get this one. A few authors I regularly read are among those with stories here which is why I took a chance. I don't think I found one bad book in this collection as improbable as it sounds, in fact I have gone on to buy other books by a few of these authors that I hadn't previously read. I also thought the subject matter would get boring before I was half way through the 25, again surprisingly I wasn't. They take place in various places in the world though all are classed as tropical resorts, the characters are very mixed as are there histories and personal lives and jobs. Some are barely surviving money wise but win a prize, some are rich but need a break from not stop work. A true variety but each is well written with a great pace and flow to the words and stories, I found only one that could maybe have done with another check through for the odd spelling issue but even that was still a great story. I must say this is the best over-all collection I have read to date and am more than happy I bought it and to recommend it to other readers, I also found it is easy to pick up and put down in between stories if you need to take a break to read something else without it spoiling the flow. 25 stories non stop could be a bit daunting so it is good to know if you want to break them down into a few at a time it isn't a problem. I was hooked into each and every story, their lives and experiences made me want more, hence me going to follow up on various authors. So this is well worth buying, don't be afraid that this is a lot of reading, you can take your time, read other books to have a break all without spoiling the content or being put off by the time frame of reading this many in one go. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I have.

Omg this is an amazing second chance love story, it had me feeling so many emotions throughout the book and I just couldn't put it down it had me from the first page.
What happens when two strangers meet in an airport and feel all these feels when they look at each other then discover they are going to the same place and hotel, is this fate stepping in and help two people who need each other realize they are meant to be.
Come and follow Derrick and Piper on there journey to Matchu Picchu and the adventure they have but also the trouble that they have along the way. You won't want to put this book down it has everything a book needs action, adventure, love and very hot sex. Whitley Cox has written another brilliant book and he characters involved in this story where just as important as Derrick and Piper. Well done Whitley.

Review for Lust Abroad....A lot can happen when two strangers find themselves traveling together, on the same flight, staying in the same hostel, ending up in the same room. Piper and Derrick find themselves together dealing with a robbery, bribed police officials and an adventure that kept the reader on edge. This book had great characters with loads of chemistry, a quick, enjoyable plot and hot sex scenes. The perfect combination that I highly recommend.

Two Reckless Hearts:
I enjoyed Jami and Beck's adventures on the island and loved the description of the location. There was definite chemistry on a personal level and friction on a professional level between those two!
It was easy to keep track of the main characters (Jami, Beck, parents/step-mom) but found myself getting a bit confused with all of the supporting characters.
Certain things were mentioned that never really played into the storyline or were only partially "resolved." For example, Jami was given the scoop about an ex-employee of BK, and she confronted Beck with the information. However, Beck overheard a conversation between Teddy and Austin but it was never brought to light or mentioned again.
I gave TRH 3.5 stars.

This review is for Two Reckless Hearts by Holly Cortelyou, an enemies-to-lovers story that I enjoyed.
Jami and Beck are on the opposite sides of a real estate deal that Jami desperately needs to land to keep her father's approval. To make matters worse, they are both attending a family wedding in a tropical paradise. Their fiery chemistry is not to be denied however, and things become complicated. Don't despair though - HEA's are always a guarantee with this author!
Note: I did receive an ARC of this story from the author, but my review is honest and voluntary.

This book has some really great romance in it. Some are suspenseful, some are simple, but all of them have romance woven into them. 💖💕💖

When I learned Jan O'Hara was writing another novel, and one for a romantic boxed set called Tropical Tryst, I knew I was in for a treat. Spoiler: I wasn't disappointed!
Cold & Hottie, is a delicious page-turner set in an exotic setting. A believable novel with well-crafted, likable characters, (mostly - I won't spoil the fun), I found myself laughing, nodding in agreement, and commiserating with both Olivia and Finn. Their stories are spooled out with just the right amount of tension, back-story, humour, and romance.
I delighted with Cold & Hottie, and the novel's unexpected and satisfying ending.
P.S. Loved the cameo from one of the "Oldsters"!

Tropical Tryst brings the weather of the Islands and 22 terrific stories by 22 great authors. I have read Desire a Bridesmaid by Courtney Hunt. Anna returns to Eden Isle Resort and meets the same man that she had a wild night with after her divorce. Chance and Anna have a good time together while preparing for a wedding there.i look forward to reading more of these stories as there is a lot of great authors in this box set and also, ones I haven't read yet that, will maybe come my favorites. It definitely is a book you would want to read at the beach, in a beach chair and on the plane! Or anywhere you go or just dream of going! You'll love this box set.

This is a great collection of romantic stories. My favorite is Desire A Bridesmaid by Courtney Hunt. I was able to read the other stories in the Bridesmaid series and this was an added bonus. All of the stories are really good though. If you like any kind of romance, you'll love this boxed set.
