A marriage of convenience. How convenient is it? Annie weds ruthless gang leader, Russ Coulter, to give her unborn son a family. Can a union based on lies survive? Read Coulter and find out.
Another dangerous world of secrets and betrayal. As a strong female lead, Annie is a determined and resourceful character, but it seems like she has some bad karma around her love life. Looking forward to the next part.
Oh my damn! This storyline just keeps getting better and better my mind is blown and my heart is broken and Annie just keeps getting more bad arse and put through the wringer. I can’t even imagine the pain one would have to endure In Such a short amount of time ... I can’t wait for the next book! A definite recommend
Gave the book a try after the horrible ending from book 0 (Lily). The lead male was killed AGAIN. Geez, does the author hate Annie? The the preview of he next books shows that George isn’t dead. On to book 3, is George going to get killed off for real this time? How much heartbreak is Annie going to live through?
I can’t believe this chick cannot get a break! This author is breaking my heart and I am overwhelmed with grief. I just learn to love someone and they die...argh!
The more of this book I read, the more I was drawn into the story. I've never read a book with characters like Portia and Jackson, and I really grew to like them. I found the gun culture a bit eye-opening (not American), and while there is quite a bit a swearing and some violence, it's appropriate considering the bikers scene setting. If you like a story that keeps you wondering, give this one a try.
I was sad to see Sam go and Annie pining for Race and not sure who she’s going to be screwing next. Poor whiny Billy looks like he gets his own book next and I’m bound to be skeptical with that one. Donny can’t go back to Toronto and George most likely won’t stay there. Maybe Rusty gets a long prison sentence. It’s past time for Annie to drop these losers and go with the cowboys.
2nd reading 4-29-2024 out of freebies for regulators series, probably going to reread George Ross and maybe a few freebies from vipers
Book 3 and the story is truly gripping. I don't know how Portia keeps picking herself up after all she has been through and still going through. She is one tough cookie who seems to prevail at all costs. When things seem to be on track there is always something out there ready to bring her down.
Just when I thought i had a grip on things.... nope this book threw me down kicked me in the ribs and made me eat dirt! How much more can a person take before they break!!!??? Jebus! I must read on until my mind is at least ok with Annie’s life. Damn these are soooo very recommended!
I really loving Annie's story with all her Cowboys and just the strength and courage she shows in herself an in all she does. You know when it's a good book when you start wanting to be in their story as well.
I love her books but Annie just loves to lead boys on, she is such a tart. Her not telling race important stuff and visiting him is just crap. She frustrates the shit out of me. It’s like drama drama still I can’t put it down...
This has to be one of the slowest moving stories I've read. Lots of gambling and eating in great detail while the MC club side of things and the bedroom scenes are just glossed over. I don't need to know every poker hand and who's sitting at the table every time the main characters go to a casino. Or the menu at every restaurant they eat at. Just way too much filler and a serious lack of passion. This story could have been told with half the word count and also could have been a much more exciting read.
Kinda like watching a horrific wreck happening in front of you.
Instead of Annie, her nick name should have been Black Widow. 1st pos husband I could understand having a "heart attack" 2nd seemed to be OK. 3rd eh OK each to there own BUT . . . to "fall in love" with 2 men and each of them dieing AFTER being abused for years?! ALL within a year? NOPE DOES NOT TRACK.
Not a Biker series, it's basically a romance & a cpl who go to Vegas & do a lot of gambling! While a MC is mentioned from time to time, that's it! I kept reading waiting for the biker & MC parts but it never happened!!
This Author continues to pull out every emotion you have. From such heartbreak, to just existing, finding joy again with love, mystery, action and so much more. This is one part of this Series that is amazing and I'm so glad there is more to come.
Annie is slowly recovery from the tragic loss of her greatest love. After making major changes in her life, finally is a peace in another State. Unfortunately a dark cloud still threatens her future.
The Regulators is apparently a biker club full of handsome hunks who are all in love with Annie. She apparently has feelings for each of them, plus a few more she has hired to work on her ranch. Life goes on while she lusts for them and them for her. It is well-written, but I couldn't find a story in the book.
Annie has been through so much heartbreak in such a short time. She's married to Rusty now and for the most part she's happy. How long that lasts for Annie is unsure but her one constant is her baby, Jackson. I'm anxious to see what happens next for Annie!
I have been enjoying this series so far. But I do have a complaint. Why has George been relegated to one sentence per chapter? I was so hoping that he would be more involved and get Portia back. Never liked Rusty for her. Billy's situation is so sad, l am rooting for him.
