Kengo Hanazawa (花沢健吾 Hanazawa Kengo, born January 5, 1974) is a Japanese manga artist known for his seinen works. He won the Topic Award of the 2005 Sense of Gender Awards for Ressentiment and was nominated for the 3rd, 4th and 5th Manga Taisho for I Am a Hero.

I told you from the very first chapter how this story would end and it came true.
Writers are very predictable, even good writers *Looks at the 3 stars review* No that's not why this got 3 stars.
While unpredictable stories are fun they are super rare when you have read as many books as me.
I am so glad he saved the baby and his girlfriend too.
I am not sure how realistic some of the things in this story were, like why did the airport sink into the sea?
What moved the airplanes so long after everyone in the plane turned to zombies?
The bridge should be a connection between land and airport not what's keeping the airport afloat.
Anyway, I enjoyed the art, the story was weaker than the main run of I am a hero, so read that it's so good.
And finally Sayanora to all people who love potatoes (I initially wanted to say Sayanora motherfuckers and then I thought I don't want someone crazy getting offended)

Es una pena que este manga se venda como una continuación o parte de la historia de I am a hero, porque para cualquier persona que lea este tomo único sin saber nada de la obra principal le va a parecer una historia de zombies como cualquier otra, cuando I am a hero es todo lo contrario.
Para ser tomo único creo que podría haber estado mucho más trabajado tanto la historia como el desarrollo de la misma. Respecto al estilo prefiero callarme pero vaya...deja bastante que desear en este género.
Si buscas una historia de zombies sin fundamento no te va a defraudar, pero si quieres saber algo más del mundo de I am a hero para avanzar en la historia o conocer nuevos personajes de la misma mejor no pierdas el tiempo con esto.

The main series had a lot of slow moments, building up to the action involving the zombies. Here it's nothing but pure action instead. A motorcycle-loving guy is heading to the airport where his girlfriend just touched down. The zombies are everywhere, so time is of the essence. Another thing this one-shot does better than the main series is humor. I dare say it outshines the main series in most aspects.

The author managed to introduce the first bit of quality humor right about here. So the two lovers finally get into a video call, because the connection was down until then. She (Kozue) and some guy from the plane named Sawamura warn the motorcycle-lover Tacchan not to get close to the airport because it's full of zombies. But moto-boy is jealous of the too-good-looking Sawamura, so he is still on the move to save his woman from the clutches of his rival.

Soon Kozue and Sawamura are the only ones not infected on the whole plane. Out of nowhere, riddled with panic, Sawamura gets possessive and demands that she leave with him. Then he gets all gropey and rapey until Kozue's friend, almost fully zombified, helps her. She even uses her zombie strength to rip the plane door open. Until her arm gets ripped off by the effort. And Kozue - hold onto your pants - asks the poor limbless girl if she is ok! Holy involuntary humor, Batman!

Kozue is on the run, though she knows that the bridge connecting the airport to the mainland has collapsed. Sea water rushes in as the airport sinks slowly in the sea from all the crashed planes. Then vengeful zombie Sawamura returns to insult poor Kozue for refusing to get raped by him. She is surrounded by zombies when her white night Tacchan rides in on his Ducati white steed. Of course, he smashes Sawamura's face in with his front wheel. They escape by the skin of their teeth in a scene that would make Evel Knievel blush.

The story even ends in humor. Tacchan is so proud of himself, he asks Kozue to marry him, like he always planned it, on his motorcycle. She is more worried about the recent apocalypse. While he desperately asks her to admit she loves him, she rather lovingly keeps calling him an idiot. Hilarious.

Ebenfalls besser gezeichnet, diesmal gibt es sogar keine Zombieschwänze zu sehen, not bad. Aber natürlich wieder degenerierte Säcke, die weibern unbedingt an die Titten grabschen müssen.
Aber dafür ist das Mädel eine dumme Kuh, die sich von ihrem Freund retten lässt, mit dem sie seit 5 Jahren zusammen ist, den sie aber vor Ausbruch der Zombies absägen wollte, weil er es zu nichts bringt. Dumme Fotze :D aber als er dann zur Rettung eilt, ist er wieder gut genug.
Der Mangaka schafft es echt gut, scheiß Charaktere zu erfinden, denen man nur das schlechteste wünscht. Sie hätte die Rettung definitiv nicht verdient.

Desconozco el nivel de implicación de Kengo Hanazawa en esta obra, pero por lo que he leido me parece que se le nombra exclusivamente por ser un spin-offde su I am a Hero. Y muy a mi pesar tengo que decir que no le llega ni a la suela del zapato. Intenta causar impresión alguna que otra vez con gore barato pero no llega a hacerlo, todo es muy previsible, los personajes no me importan lo mas mínimo y en resumen nada en esta historia parece lo suficientemente relevante como para dedicarle un tomo. Diría que una decepción, pero como sabía que el dibujo no era de Hanazawa ya me olía lo peor.

Ci prendiamo una pausa dalle avventure dei protagonisti consueti della serie, per vedere cosa succede a un ragazzo e una ragazza di Osaka, proprio al momomento dell'esplosione del virus di I am a hero. Una storia semplice, ma raccontata con il solito stile di Hanazawa, attento ai personaggi e alla rappresentazione di persone normali. Carino. Disegni un filo più manga del solito della serie, con deformazioni più evidenti e un minore livello del dettaglio, ma comunque efficaci, specie nelle scene horror, particolarmente frenetiche.

Incómodo de leer, te lo venden como si de verdad va a ser un héroe y a duras penas, no conecte con los personajes, no me gustó el final para ser un tomo único, y que traducción de mierda. Incómodo. Por poco y te separaban un ho-
la solo pq querían quedarse en le margen de 2cm de la burbuja y al final no se entendía nada.

2 estrellas pq lowk la relación de los dos principales estaba cute ?? But eh

Also, das hier ist ein Einzelband, der in sich abgeschlossen ist. Er ist nett zu lesen, Zombie-Apokalypse und deren Auswirkungen am Flughafen. Und unsere Hauptcharaktere sind eher aus Glück noch am leben. Aber nett für zwischendurch, die Hauptserie ist aber besser.

Este manga lamentablemente de Hanazawa solo tiene el nombre. No es una mala historia, y el setting en el aeropuerto de Kansai me pareció intresante, pero no tiene mucho que ver con I am a Hero, esperaba mucho más.

It’s an alright spin off manga of the original I am a hero manga! The story was pretty bad but some awesome gruesome parts and really great art😁👌🧟‍♂️🧟‍♀️❤️
