SARAH STEIN (born October 1985) is an international bestselling author of various tales, including contemporary, erotic, and paranormal romance. As the middle child in a family of ten, she often found refuge in reading, using books to escape the chaos of her large family life. Her love for literature at a young age inspired her to start creating her own stories.
She’s from southern Louisiana but resides in south Texas with her husband of many years, their two children, and their pets. When she isn’t spending quality time with her family, she enjoys singing, reading, writing, or researching for her next story.
This was a story that went beyond the usual context of FemDom. There was a well crafted relationship that gradually superseded the sensual aspect of BDSM. Sarah Stein added a thread of love and respect not usually shown in books of this genre.
There was no angry female response to controlling men, but instead it was a personal journey for two people to discover the missing elements in their lives. The story weaved perfectly that blend of romance, lust and yes, to a degree depravity.

In a matter of couple of hours Her Will by Sarah Stein was completed and devoured. This was a fast and easy flowing read that was easily absorbed.
“[She] wasn’t the person to bed to his or anyone else’s will. She was a different kind of woman, one who wasn’t afraid to control others and enjoyed having the upper hand.”
Mistress Jolene seeks out her own pleasure by having men bend to her will. Her normal clientele at Serenity Cavern has become a little redundant and she fantasies of her boss, Delray up against the St. Andrews cross. But the one night he ventures to the club and gains a tastes of her desires he safe words… is their hope for her dreams after all?
“He stepped into her world and he wasn’t ready for the consequences.”
Her Will was a little to fast paced for me. The beginning was well entertaining, but I felt the author rushed the emotional side for Jolene; why she craves the dominance, the working relationship between both characters, the climatic build-up and plateau of the relationship just cut-off.
I however, enjoyed the Mistress/Domme aspect of this novel. The power of the female who yearns for control over a dominant male. I just think it needs more depth, more colorfulness, even more playful scenes between the two to figure out where they stand professionally & personally. Her Will does have potential.

This was a great book! It's a quick read for when you have limited time to do, such as myself. The author did a great job painting the scenes in the mind of the reader, and I'm definitely looking forward to reading more from her in the future. Well written & excellent storyline. Easy 5 stars!
I really enjoyed this book! I loved how Delray struggled with giving up control, when he was used to being in charge. Jolene loves the power she has over her submissives. They both had to learn to accept the other's quirks and lifestyles. Who would win this battle of wills?

A very quick read, but the reader is instantly drawn into the world where Jolene plays.
Unfortunately I felt that considering the sensitivity of the lifestyle, I think Delray would have had more questions or that it would have at least been a conversation before just jumping right into it. Especially considering their relationship before he finds out about her.
Overall, a very hot and heavy read but I wish it was flushed out more. 3 stars!
Jolene has the hots for her boss but he’s off limits in her book. She’s struggling with wanting him, but telling herself that Delray wouldn’t be able to handle her world, one where she likes to tie ‘em up and have her wicked way with those in her grasp. But Delray’s a big boy and can handle what Jolene throws his way. This is a short, and sexy read.
When a woman knows what she wants, she goes after it. That is exactly what Jolene does when her boss, Delray, shows up where she likes to play. Her Will is a quick, hot and steamy read that takes place in New Orleans. Jolene is assertive and knows what she wants, and that involves Delray bending to her will. But when it comes to love, you can still bend a little and keep your happiness.
