I am a big fan of Kristy's first book, How to be a Wildly Effective Compliance Officer, and this book is just as amazing. If you are a compliance officer who spends all day "fighting fires", this book offers you tools that will help you set and achieve your objectives (not to mention "wow" your Board and executive leadership). The worksheets within the book are extremely helpful - instead of reading abstract concepts that seem like a good idea, you instead sit down and really work through issues specific to your job and your company and come up with an achievable game plan. One thing I also love about this book is that, like the last book, it is written in a conversational manner with lots of interesting stories, which makes it a fun and easy read - a stark and most welcome contract to most books in the realm of compliance. When reading it you will really feel like you have your own Compliance Professional Life Coach (particularly the section on "Keep Calm and Carry On"). And as an added bonus, it is almost impossible to read this book and not take away useful information about goal-setting that can be applied to other areas of your life!
