"People know me as the playboy. But there's so much more to me than that. So much."
For Avis Torres, music has been his longest relationship. He, with Cole Clarke and Gunner Kinney, makes up the band Sunday Told A Secret. They've taken the music world by storm, and stormy has their path been. Avis has notoriously been dubbed the band's playboy, a title he wears proudly. Why should he limit himself to one person when there's so many people in the world willing to give themselves to him?
Since relocating from L.A. to Pittsburgh, Avis has tamed his wild ways, for the most part. The band has taken on a mellower vibe, which was a unanimous decision, and now that Avis sees Cole and Gunner settling into their lives, he can't help but feel as though he wants more than just a string of one-night lovers and to put a stop to his desires of drinking his desperation into oblivion.
Caroline Bordalon enters the life of Avis Torres in the least expected way. She's everything he never knew he wanted, from her southern Louisiana drawl to her honey-sweet innocence. There's an instant fascination with Ms. Bordalon that Avis can't shake. That, combined with his ambitious plans to fall in love, drives Avis to be consistent, charming, and monogamous.
But Caroline has secrets. Secrets that might be too much for Avis to accept.
LOUD is now part of a growing series! This sexy standalone can be read on it's own, or readers can choose to broaden their Sunday Told A Secret horizons by reading about Cole Clarke in THE OTHER WOMAN.
Noell Mosco is a 30-something-year-old who lives in Southwestern Pennsylvania, born and raised. A country girl at heart, she currently resides in Suburbia. Writing has been one of Noell's passions since she was young, completing her first "book" at eleven. Since then, she's always dreamed of becoming a best-selling author. Her full-time job as a physical therapist means she is compassionate, and it allows her to follow-up with her close-2nd biggest passion - traveling the world. Noell reluctantly admits to having a love of wine, though her poison of choice is generally tequila.
Loud is another great book by Noell! I love Sunday Told A Secret (have I mentioned how much I love that band name? because I do!)
I was happy to see that Avis got his own book. I love how he seemed to be instantly attracted to Caroline but in a totally different way than his other "conquests". So many great scenes in this book! I would tell you what they are but..that would give too much away.
Caroline. I really liked her. I like how she was strong but still a little bit "broken" in her own way. She is definitely an independent lady that has her kinks. I like how open she was to Avis about how much she enjoyed sex. I don't see that a lot in books so it was refreshing to read Loud.
I loved seeing Cole & the other guys!
Mrs. Mosco has done it again with such a great book! I love her writing! Once I start reading it takes me no time to devour her books! Her characters are so well written! Love it!
I really liked this book better than the first, The Other Woman. The characters, I just instantly connected with. I loved Caroline, the way her character was written and the in depth picture that the author gave me. Avis, he was so much more than the described manwhore. I just wanted to pull him close and never let go. The books was good, great even until the last few chapters, there I felt things just got a bit rushed. The ending was a little anticlimactic and felt unfinished which made me a little sad (maybe that's because I wasn't ready to let go of them yet) but I also liked it and was content with it. I hope to see more of Avis and Caroline in future books.
This book is Loud but in the most subtle way possible. Avis Torres is a musician in the hottest band around. He loves living the typical rock star life with all the things that come with it, mainly the women. It's when he meets a shy woman, Caroline Bordalon that he decides he may just want to settle down.
The only problem is Caroline may not want to settle down with Avis. She's keeping some secrets she doesn't want anyone to find out about, especially the playboy rock star. Will Avis be able to break through the wall Caroline has built. Will Caroline trust Avis enough to let him heal from all her wounds?
I have to say that I went into this book expecting your typical "playboy rock star" type of book. With books that I would have to purchase I always download a sample first. Caroline and the hints about her kink are what drew me in enough to one-click at the end of the sample. I'm not going to give any spoilers about what happens, but I can say that I fell in love with Avis and Caroline, separately and together. The characters are very well written and the story flowed so well it didn't make me want to skip chapters just to get it over with. Definitely worth the purchase and has a firm place on my re-read list!!
Loud is the second book in the Sunday series and focuses on Avis and Caroline. I found it interesting how so much alike they are, but yet different where it counts. Their story of how they come together and the journey they go on is great, as is the sex! While I was happy with the way the book ended, I would have liked to have seen a little more focus on Caroline's issue and actually dealing with it and how she and Avis are going to get past it. But maybe that is in the next book of the series?
This was not the read I thought it would be, characters were sexy, fun, complicated and interesting. Struggles with love and happiness are not uncommon and this story evolves in a way that makes you fall both in love with the leading couple but gives you a glimpse into their lives as well as their love story. Well written and while it is a part of a Sunday series it can be read as a stand alone book as well.
Scorching hot with a touch of sweetness is how I'd this book . Avis and Line had a connection from the get go. They both have issues they both need to deal with together and some they will need to overcome by themselves. This book was packed full of laughter, sex, sweetness and love.
Loud, the 2nd in the Sunday Series I’m sure loving my Rockstar books, almost as much as I love a good MC! This book kept me wanting more. It’s the love story between Avis, the playboy rockstar and Caroline, the shy southern gal with secrets of her own. Axis is ready to settle down, but is Caroline ready to open up and let that happen? Looking forward to more from Noell Mosco!
Loud is a emotion roller coaster that you do not want to miss. Avis and Caroline have feelings for each other but they both have to fight to be together. Caroline thinks she can't live without a part of her life and Avis is willing to try but can't. How do they get passed it? Thankfully Avis is not a man to give up easily. The next Sunday Told A Secret book is just as good as the first. If you haven't read it yet grab them both. You will not regret it.
This book is fun, sexy, and emotional. Avis and Line are both sexy, charming, and flawed individuals. Their connection is potent and instant. Line is independent and hard working. She loves sex, but has secrets that make sustaining more than a physical relationship a challenge. Avis is a successful musician and a bit of a playboy. Women come to him and practically beg for a sexual encounter. However, his best friend is in love and about to get married. This has Avis questioning his solitary and no strings take on relationships. Especially after he meets Line under less than ideal circumstances. I loved how Avis and Line were drawn to one another. Their relationship develops through friendship and scorching sexual tension. When Line's secrets are revealed, their relationship is tested. Is Avis willing to love Line for exactly who she is, flaws an all? Is Line willing to let down her armour and trust in love? Get ready to experience a unique, genuine, heart felt love story! Loud has both angst and humor that evoke all the feels!
I love the guys from Sunday Told a Secret. Cole’s book, The Other Woman, was amazing. This book (Loud) is about Avis the guitarist/bass player. It’s a sweet, insta-love story between the bad boy of the band and Caroline, the woman who is so busy she needs to schedule time to breath. As I’ve said before, Ms. Mosco is a hidden gem in the writing world and I highly recommend you check out her work. 4.5 stars!
Loud by author, Noell Mosco is a rock star romance where we are introduced to Avis, the rock star and Caroline, the hardworking Southern belle. Little does Caroline know but her path is about to cross with one of her favorite band's member. Noel's character development of both Avis and Caroline is so good and their story is so well written. Avis is your typical rock star player who isn't interested in relationships and uses women for sex. But he meets his match in Caroline who shows him that she's not a pushover and he will have to work to win her heart. How they meet made me laugh and how Avis pursues Caroline is so endearing. Their different upbringing play a part in them learning to trust each other and develop their relationship. The journey of them overcoming their obstacles and reading about them will make your heart flutter. There are sexual situations in this book but they are an integral part to their journey. I was introduced to author, Noell Mosco through this book and I will definitely be looking for more of her books. This was a tremendous 5 star read and you must read this book.- Julie
I love all of Noell Mosco's words. She is a very talented writer, knowing exactly how to suck into the story! And LOUD was no different. If anything if was better. Caroline and Avis's story was nothing like I've ever read from Noell before. It was more angsty, steamy, and way more sexy! I loved every word of it. Caroline has her secrets and Avis has to find out how to deal with them. But can her secrets be too much for the playboy from Sunday Told A Secret? Their story was written perfectly, flowed from page to page with no lagging. If you're looking for something sexy and fun with great banter this is it! I can't wait to read more from this amazing author!
