This book was rapidly put together in time for the 1992 elections as Ross Perot was deciding to enter the presidential race. It is a collection of quotes from the man himself to try and give a picture of his personality, his position on the issues of the day, and to give people a little more information on the history of the Texas/EDS icon.
Having worked for EDS for 20 years, I found it interesting and was always entertained with the folksy way he communicated with people and the press whether I agreed with him or not. I admired his fighting spirit and the way he could be a thorn in the side of power. If nothing else, he was never a fan of the status quo and worked to change it if things weren't working.
The book is a short read but is a good, quick insight of the man who would soon choose to jump into the political arena of the time.
Often wondered what it would have been like to have someone in the Whitehouse with an atypical view of the world. He was a business man and an "out there" guy but really could not be worse than a Carter or an Obama.
