I thought this was a good book of short stories overall, with just a couple of minor things I was iffy about.
For the first couple, I liked how cute they were! It was so cute how she was flustered about admitting how she felt towards him and it was just wholesome how they grew to develop feelings for each other. I liked their storyline, and the beach scene was just... 🦋🦋🦋. The little things like him taking her to a soccer game and inviting her to come see his match as well as her giving him candy was cute too. I know I'm saying cute a lot, but they are. just. cute. I guess the one thing that I was iffy abt tho is that they had sex rlly soon. I mean, sex is normal in a relationship, but I just felt like they moved so fast, and he was talking abt "making you mine," but while sex is normal and definitely an intimate, connecting experience between lovers, I also feel like sex is not absolutely needed to make her yours, yk?
The second couple were really wholesome. I liked how sweet they were towards each other and how much they genuinely cared and loved each other. Their shared secret only they know and him respecting her when she wasn't ready to have sex yet were a couple things that stood out to me abt their relationship<3 They also had a satisfying ending! What I was iffy abt is just the fact that she didn't know what a condom was? I don't believe it makes sense that a girl her age doesn't know lol.
The third couple had some good sexual chemistry with how physical the guy was being towards her, and his physical touch he exercised on her honestly was really hot. I saw other people mentioning /that/ specific chapter too and I get why they liked it because they really were hot. The problem is though that I felt like we just got introduced to them and apparently they got a thing for each other. We didn't really have a backstory on the relationship they had with each other. I wish we got more of a backstory about the relationship before diving straight into them randomly being intimate because due to this although their lust can be felt, their love not so much.
Nonetheless, this was still a nice read :)
