Huge Semenk fan here so please dont misunderstand my negative review for the book as me shitting on a legend. Its a bummer to me when sports biographies are just summaries of games. We either already watched the games or can track down videos or stats. I come to biographies to learn about the person and I feel like there was very little of that in this book except for a few chapters at the end. This one was particularly laughable halfway through the book he casually mentions something his kids did. I was like "he has kids?? News to me." They hadnt mentioned his kids until that point and they sure didnt mention them much after. It is understandable if you dont want to put your life or your family on display for the world but that is sort of what you are signing up to do when you write an autobiography in my opinion.
