This is a really enjoyable read. With a super protective alpha Logan, and a strong independent woman Skylar, you know when the two meet sparks will fly!! Throw in some drama, a little mystery and some steamy sex scenes and you are on way to an enjoyable read.

This was book one of Club Thrieve. This book hooked me in, maybe because of the book's main characters, or maybe because of the club but I think it as the chemistry between the main characters that did it.

I have found me a new ONE CLICK AUTHOR!!!! I have fell in love with the Club Thrive Series and I can't wait to read the next one or any of her other books. The writing is flawless and has a way to capture your attention from beginning to end. I simply devoured this book in a couple of hours and wanted to know more about each other character wither it be main or secondary.
Logan and Skylar come from 2 different worlds. Logan was born and raised in LA, his late mother was a movie star, and he is the owner of Club Thrive. Skylar is from the east coast and moved to LA a few years ago. She has dreams of becoming a singer. She works in a bar and sings to make ends meet. When her best friend makes her come out to Club Thrive for a night of fun, she meets the sexy club owner Logan. Logan and Skylar hit it off. Skylar has her reservations about a relationship because in the past she hasn't always been the best girlfriend. What happens when someone from Logan and Skylar past comes back can they stay together or will it break them apart?
I cant wait to see what Ms. Mello gives us next in the Club Thrive series, while I'm waiting I'm going to be checking out her other work.

Logan and Skyler seems like a match made in heaven, but everyone has issues bubbling beneath the surface that can ruin a great relationship if one isn’t ready for them. Logan is a wealthy club owner who seems completely smitten by the girl he sees in his club one night. Sky is a single girl who loves spending time with her friends and going out and enjoying life. Skyler has worked hard to get where she is, on her own with little extra money, she loves to sing and wants to be successful. Logan is a son of a late actress and doesn’t need to worry about money at all. Both of them believe their lifestyle differences are the biggest obstacles in their relationship. Although they are a stumbling block there are other insecurities laying just below the surface that will threaten their happily ever after. Add in physical threats from individuals they have crossed paths with and you have a sweet, sexy and suspenseful read you won’t want to put down.

From the first chapter I was captivated by Logan and Skyler's story. I loved how they met in Logan's club! The sparks between those two were flying off the pages. Both Logan and Skyler have had relationship issues and those issues come up throughout the novel but how they work through them is the true beauty of the novel. I love characters who have flaws. No one is perfect and both Logan and Skyler are extremely relatable. This book isn't just a romance novel. It has elements of suspense to it that will leave you on the edge of your seat. At times I wanted to shout and throw my kindle, then there were tender moments that made me swoon so hard and other times there were scorching hot scenes that could melt your kindle. I cannot wait to see what happens throughout the rest of this series! I was not only invested in Logan and Skyler's story. I was invested in each and every character in the novel and can't wait to read their stories.

A good start
I have a few things first please get the characters names correct. There was a couple of incidents where there was a mix up of names. Second Logan is filthy rich I mean hello he bought her a Porsche so why would he skimp out on an engagement ring. I think he could have done better than 1 carat. The hero part was cool and I was impressed with the writing and how it came together. Also, I'm happy the author didn't write just her flaws in the relationship. Logan made mistakes too and it made him real. In order for me to give a 5* rating a book would be in my mind forever unfortunately I didn't feel it. 4* would mean the errors would be minimal and not to where they are obvious and take away from the story. That is why I felt this deserved a 3*. I really did like this as a great start to the series. The characters were incredible.

I love this book. This author is well known for her military romances so I was excited to try this one and am so glad I did. It is a wonderful mix of passion, drama and excitement and I couldn't put it down. Sky is not into relationships so imagine her surprise when her world is rocked by Logan as he changes her view of what relationships are all about. Logan is gun shy after he catches his long term girlfriend with his best friends. Once they get past their trust issues they may just have their HEA.
Love this author and her writing style. Her characters just touch you in the heart and draw you into their lives. Love it.

Skyler is an independent woman with an amazing voice.. she doesn't need a man to "help" her get through life... Logan is an alpha male that goes for what he wants... and he wants Skyler... This story will keep you on your toes at all times.. there is mystery, danger and love... HOT love.. This story will leave you wanting more of the unconventional family of friends portrayed... The author did an amazing job describing every person and detail.. as a reader I felt engaged at all times...
This book is part of a series (book 2) and even though it could be read as a standalone I recommend to read previous installment...

Holy smokes! Alison Mello is a new to me author and I just fell in love! This is book one in the Club Thrive series and I could not put it down. The writing style was amazing, the world building fantastic, and the characters are ones that I will not soon forget.
Logan and Skylar come from two very different worlds. Logan born and raised in LA and owner of Club Thrive. Skylar from the east coast with big dreams to become a singer. These two meet in Club Thrive and sparks are ignited.

I received this book as an ARC and it was amazing. I could not put it down once I got started. There is drama and romance throughout which gave it a nice balance. Sky runs from every relationship she has had in the past because they have been boring. Logan gives her excitement and support no matter what she is going through. I can't wait to read the rest of this series. It does not leave you with a cliff hanger like many books do now. I have read a few of Alison Mellos' books and this is another excellent book from her! Strongly recommend!

This is my first book to read from Alison Mello and it won't be my last! I really liked this story!! I wasn't sure at first exactly how this story would play out but I did like where it went in the end!! This book has a little bit of everything - from love and hate to mystery and suspense. It was about not repeating past mistakes and learning to trust your heart. It's about how friends become family and how family protects each other. This is the story of Skylar and Logan and I think you will love it!!

This is the story of Skyler and Logan, who have great chemistry together, and are the perfect couple. No spoilers, you really need to give this one a go for yourself!
This story is suspenseful which had me on tenterhooks, and I was hooked and intrigued throughout. I adore this author’s work, which is addictive and all consuming. I highly recommend her work for all readers. Cannot wait to read the next book in this series; Awesome job Alison!!

This was a fun quick read! Skylar was a regular hard working girl, trying to get noticed in the music business. She lived with her best friend Sadie. Sadie forced her out one night that changed her life forever. She met Logan and instantly fell in love. He was the jealous type. They had their issues, but worked it out. Skylar found herself in a few scary situations. Luckily for her bestfriend and Logan, she was ok! This book had a good story line and was a quick read.

This book had a lot of different elements to it – loss, love, drama, mystery and of course hot sexy scenes. There is instant chemistry between Logan and Sky – and their attraction to each other is undeniable. I love Logan’s protective nature to employees, friends, and those he loves – and the tenderness he shows to Sky. I also love the focus on some of the work relationships and friendships– good read!

Their attraction was palpable from the beginning, and this author is amazing at keeping the heat on and the tension building. Logan is a breathtaking book boyfriend. What a wonderful story that will warm your heart. Logan and Skylar both reach out and grab your heart with their fast but bumpy journey to love. Once you start you can't put it down wondering what will come next for the couple. It is heart warming to watch them over come the hardships of a new romance, and enjoy the wonderful times of falling in love with a soulmate.

This book is nothing short of breathtaking. I adore Skyler and Logan, and the way their relationship unfolds. The passion hits somewhere deep within the soul, and the drama nearly rips your heart out. The whole book is captivating, with no dry or boring parts. Alison Mello gets better and better with each book she writes!

Compulsion was a really good read. Alison is a new author to me. I like her writing style, it's a easy flow reading book. Once you start you won't want to put the book down. Just to think this book started off with Sky who didn't want to go out. Ends up going with her bff to Club Thrive. She catches the owners eye he sees her and we have an awesome love story. With a couple of twist and turns. You need to read Compulsion to see what happens.

There is a not so fine line between the hero being an alpha male and an absolute controlling ass. Unfortunately this hero was on the wrong side of the line. From grabbing her, controlling her every move, dictating her wardrobe, trying to buy her affection, throwing his money around because his mother was an actress… It just didn't work.

Club Thrive: Compulsion is the beginning of a new sexy hot series, and I am loving it already. Logan is the handsome, sexy owner of Club Thrive, and Skyler is a fiercely independent woman who has dreams of becoming a singer. Put these two together and you get a huge combustion of lust and passion! I loved this start to the series, and can't wait to read more!

Good story but the writing was a bit immature
I've read other books by this author,and while I always enjoy her story lines, the writing itself is a bit immature. Unless her books are considered young adult,then it would make sense that the writing was this simple. But the story was well developed and I enjoyed reading this book!

Love this book! Love the Club Thrive series!
These books are well written. The ad tory line flows easily, and although it is a series, each book can be read as a stand alone. All the main characters have their own book with short fill ins about the rest of the characters and how they are connected to the ones in each book
