I threw the book away. It is really boring and way too repetitive for a children's book. What the heck was that?

The plot is interesting. A tiny, small girl adopted by a bird family, didn't know she's human and she had to go back to her original family.
Sounds good, right? I thought so too. But it's so boring. And the writing style is really monotonous. The emotions and dialogues seem too forced. No, it doesn't work that way.

I don't care anymore what happens in the book.

Children's books are really messed up sometimes.

This book deserves 1 star. It is poorly written, the characters are not believable, and the plot make no sense. The characters want one thing on one page but forget about it a few pages later. All problems get resolved really quickly and nothing really develops. This is really unfortunate because this book has such a great premise and beautiful illustrations (and hence I'm giving it 2 stars), but the story does no justice to either.
